To be honest, the error came to me as a shock off the bat. I will admit I was pissed. But looking back on it, and seeing how quickly the Bioware team found the problem and begun working on it is very impressive. I have seen issues in games last for months before the dev team even realize there is a problem, it is good to know that Bioware actually monitors the community and listens.
True, they probably should have caught it before they released it but lets face it, mistakes happen and even large industries are not immune. At most you loosing, what, a few days... maybe a week of play time?
I know, it sucks but lets all take a deep breath, step back and realize it's a game... not the end of the world. Within 24 hours the dev team found out there was a problem and are already working on a hotfix. I am fully confident that this issue will be resolved and we can all go back to killing dragons within a week.
