I know it just started as a game, but I can't get ME3's multiplayer out of my head. I wish I stayed around long enough because when I went back to it (having stopped before the Vorcha came out) there were so many classes and options that I wished I could try them all. Now, I like the classes here for the most part. They're fun in their own way. I still cannot, however, wait for the new ideas and new classes. Enemy classes are likely, I would assume. Venatori, Red templar, DEMONS? I can't wait for more maps, more enemies. I can't way for entirely new concepts of mages and warriors. Obviously this will be a playground for the devs to find out what is fun and what isn't fun about the combat in this game on a broad scale. This will be like the best kind of beta playtest for future DA titles I can imagine. I don't see much of a change in engine for the next DA game honestly, and I hope they focus more on animations and optimization while still getting the game out quickly.
Anyway, I know they said they were going to throw more support into the DAMP than in ME3's MP, and I believe I remember them saying faster too. When do you expect there will be more classes?
Also, I know there are weird bugs and I've lost my fair share of experience, but we can be excited about what is coming next while they work on fixing what is already messed up.
New classes?

I think Void Walker was confirmed. So my guess is that they already have mostly everything planned out and will continually release stuff over the next year.

I'd like to see:
a berserker in the style of Oghren
some sort of druid or naturalist
a shapeshifter in the style of morrigan
a bard in the style of lelianna
a duelist
shale...just shale...
and, of course, a blood mage

The devs did say that they wanted to try to get some werewolves and golems into DA MP as playable characters. Considering the current way to gain new characters, I'm curious to see how they'll implement the unlocking for characters like that.
As for what I want, I would like to play as an Awakened Darkspawn like those from Awakening. Any class is fine by me, really. ME3 MP came out with more and more characters that had their own unique abilities and I don't see why that would be any different in DA MP.

By "a berserker in the style of Oghren", do you mean "drunken Dwarf"? Because that I could get behind.
Also, a Blood Mage could be a lot of fun. Kind of a caster version of the Reaver.
Ya know, the only problem I ever had with extra classes being added in ME3MP was that they were so cool they made the standard classes in SP seem boring by comparison. I'm really excited to see what classes pop up in future expansions, I just wish they'd get patched into the SP game as well. ![]()

I would like to see (and play) "mabari class"
A Mabari class is one of my most wanted kits for DAMP.
Not just because Mabari are awesome (that's a given
), but because bringing a non-humanoid biped into the game and making it a playable character will bring a whole new level of unique gameplay mechanics to the title. ME 3 MP was a great foundation, but we never really got to see the more 'alien' races make it into the MP. The most divergent kits we got was a really short guy (Volus) and a really tall guy (Geth Juggernaut).
In my opinion BioWare needs to expand upon that groundwork and bring the decidedly non-human/elf/dwarf/qunari creatures to the (playable character) table. Mabari, Demons/Spirits, Sylvans, etc. the lore is rich with numerous fantasy creatures that have been proven to be quite capable of reasoning and logic as well as working with the PC when the situation called for it.
Please BioWare, give us the exotic characters/creatures to play with, and once you have expanded upon the solid foundation of ME 3 MP with all new innovations and features, then you can take those and bring them back into ME:Next's MP and I can finally realize my dream of playing as a Rachni or Elcor in MP. ![]()

New classes would be nice, but imo much better would be to expand upon and balance the abilities of existing classes. Sure I'd like a class with blood magic, but instead of having the abilities pigeon-holed into a blood mage class, I'd rather see it accessible to one or more of the existing mage classes. I think each class should have signature active and passive abilities so that they are all unique, but at the same time they need more ability options and less skill tree restrictions so we don't just have the same cookie cutter builds running around.

Yes, a Mabari sub-class known as The Boxer. Stands of two legs, punches the crap outta ya with free legs, and of course bites, growls, and howls.
Can also use ability "It's The Postman!!" to bound across great distances quickly on four legs to catch the mailman. They all look like the mailman to the The Boxer.
Bonus ability "Rub My Belly": enemy units fall for the seemingly friendly Mabari who wants its belly rubbed, only to be mauled by sneaky Mabari.

Not sure about the boxing part, but I know I already like the "Postman" ability and it's upgrade where two Mabari friends join the fray coming around the corner.

I'm hoping to see a samurai type class for the warrior or a warlock type for mage. Perhaps a monk too for the rogue or am i just making this sound too much like WoW now? Maybe a death knight or paladin too

I was actually thinking a bit more about the blood mage idea last night and the more I thought about it, the cooler it sounded. Essentially build it similar to the Reaver, but without Rampage. Design some signature spells that consume HP on cast, but also have their damage scale with HP level the same way that Reaver does. The fun part is give them the AW barrier generation passive, without the sword or fade cloak. That way you're balancing low HP with scaling barrier generation. I was thinking the Death Siphon passive would be nice, but I really think that would just be too strong and make managing your HP much more difficult. They'd need some sort of life steal mechanic to manage your HP level, but that's not powerful enough to be a primary defensive tool. That way the emphasis is on riding that razor's edge of safe HP levels so that your barrier generation is high enough to protect you, but your HP level's not low enough that you'll get insta-gibbed if your barriers go down.
Anyway, it sounded like it could be a really fun idea.

"Wisdom"
A spirit of Wisdom forced onto Thedas by the Rifts that accidentally possessed the corpse of a warrior upon arrival. With no way to return home the spirit decided to raise sword and shield for the Inquisition, in hopes of returning home and preventing other spirits from suffering his fate.
"Corporeal" Tree- Focuses on knowledge of physical warfare and combat. Begins with "Shield Wall."
"Arcane" Tree- Focuses on knowledge of the Fade, esoteric abilities uncommon, if existent, in normal Thedosian life. Begins with "Pull."

I would like to see more of the focus abilities make their way onto classes, Haste/Resurgence/Cloak of Shadows/Rally. I feel like not having Rally on the Templar was a missed opportunity, especially in place of bodyguard (which is a death sentence, and would be WAY better on legionnaire). I would also like to see some new and more interesting Archer abilities, they spend a lot of time just pew pewing very slowly from safety(Full draw, long shot, explosive shot are all boring as mud). More shotgun style abilities (like leaping shot sort of is), or some rapid fire stuff (throwing daggers i guess but with a bow?) would be a lot of fun.
Also just a general problem, I generally don't like how movement style abilities take a spot on the bar when they often become critical to a characters survival. I think it would be great if there was a Movement ability slot, Fade Step, Fade Cloak, Grappling Hook, Evade, Hook and Tackle, Combat Roll (maybe Stealth/Charging Bull/Grappling Chain), that could be filled only with a movement ability. It would reduce the "pressure" on a players regular skill choices, while ensuring that all characters had some sort of survival/emergency button, and hell, some of these abilities are plain old fun but often hard to justify in place of other abilities (hook and tackle I'm looking at you). Also already, almost every mage AutoPicks Fade Cloak/Step, and every rogue type stealth (if available).

Why cant we have the hunter Hunter as DAO, with some Big spider pet. i miss pet to blood pact them ![]()

I think the pet mechanic is being waited out for a better AI updated as you can already see with the Necromancer, plus I think it was the Ash Warriors(cant remember been awhile since DA:O) that have a mabari canine companion so would be like the old DA:O hunter but more melee then it would ranged and have a mabari with them maybe even have cross combination skills such as throwing a brightly colored dagger at the enemy and the mabari automatically charges after it like playing vicious fetch.

There is a lot of potential for doing whatever they want...
An Arcane Archer could be a lot of fun. DPS from the bow, protective/buffing spells from the other tree.
