An at least $15-25 (worth) expansion that covers 10-15 more levels, new gear tiers, heavy requirements to push through (tactics, stats, Inquisition power, etc etc), adds 1-2 new parts of Thedas (Nevarra? Free Marches?).
I'm okay with Anderfels and Tevinter and Antiva being saved for the next 1-2 games, but I still consider Free Marches and maybe Nevarra to be part of 'southern Thedas' or at least 'central', and it'd be nice to at least get Bioware working on what those places look and sound and feel like, even if they (at least Nevarra) come back in a future game. If they do Free Marches though, I'd want that to be pretty much the end of our experiences there, save for some MMO or whatever.
Basically, I want something utterly new and I want both the Inquisitor and Inquisition to reach new power levels at some point in 2015-2016. Instead of a new expansion like Awakening, I'd want the content to be more integrated into the main game.

Some content with a Dwarven focus, given that they did lack in that for core DAI compared to Humans and Elves. (I'm fine with waiting for Qunari focus until a future game tho, but I wouldn't be opposed to it)
If Bioware wants to go crazy with a Val Royeux expansion that lets us really soak in the city compared to core DAI's tiny (but pretty) version, I'd be enthused about it
.
Something that adds 1 new specialization for each class. I'm fine with only one, now DAO Awakening's 2. I don't need Blood Magic, actually, but I do want Blood Magic to return and be fully story represented in a Tevinter-based DA4
.
I want an expansion that HEAVILY involves the Fade more than EVER before. THIS is definitely the game to do that. I want all the lore treats.
Mabari, or heck, even a choice between a Ferelden Mabari... or trying out something new with an Orlesian somethingelse.
SANDAL. SANDAL.
I'm fine with visiting northern parts of Thedas, but not in so much as content of large regions or an expansion, but more just a certain covert mission or whatever. Just to give us glimpses of areas we may see more of later in the series, but which have less to do with the Inquisitor themselves.
