Having high dragons in DA MP?

I mentioned this a while ago while on DA MP with a few friends and we all thought it would've been a pretty cool idea.  Maybe it could be a stand-alone boss, or maybe BW could bring back the drakes and regular dragons as additional enemies to fight through before getting to the high dragon.

The type of high dragon it is could depend on the difficulty.  The ice ones seem to be the easiest, so they could be the type we get on Routine as the boss.

The fire ones could be the ones we'd fight on Threatening as they seem to be about average difficulty to beat.  Maybe they could generate Guard like the Abyssal High Dragon in the Western Approach.

Since the lightning ones are the hardest to fight, they could be the boss for Perilous.  Most likely, they would be able to generate Guard like the Vinsomer at the Storm Coast.

The leveling would still be the same and the weaker dragonkin we'd fight would be pretty much the same regardless of difficulty in terms of appearance and attacks.  Of course, the last zone of the maps would have to be changed to account for the size of the fights with the high dragons, but if done well, I think it would be a really fun challenge.

I honestly doubt BW would do this, but it would be nice to see it happen.  What do you guys think?

I'd be fine with sober dragons.

Haven't heard anything about new enemies for DA MP, so I highly doubt it.  Unless you mean in story mode, in which case, not at all.

I just thought it would be cool if BW threw this into DA MP and wanted to see what others thought about it.

Nice and what about dragons as weekend challenges? That would be also nice.

Special map with dragon as a boss, different for every weekend challenge and maybe with some -not so random- valuable reward if you beat the challenge? (rare item or something like that)

Personally, I would love to see BioWare add dragon fights to DAMP as well as bringing in a single, large and open world-ish maps; similar to the the size and scope of the SP areas.

An open area with the same footprint size as all five rooms of the dungeon run map(s) combined would offer considerable real estate to create engaging missions. Instead of fighting though claustrophobic corridors, players could see their objective in the distance and work towards their goal; whether that be assaulting a castle or clearing a path towards a High Dragon's lair.

Spoiler alert came a bit too late... oh, there was none....

Anyway, of course there has to be dragons in dragon age multiplayer!

Come on Bioware, if you fix all the bugs and add tons of content for people to dig into - you have an actually bonafied gem on your hands. Some people might be fooled to buy some platinum as well!

Naww... I think they should focus on dungeon crawling, but make the dungeons longer, more immersive and gradually more and more difficult. And honestly, they have to differ more in content between the three difficulties. It's a bit harder, but it is almost completely identical... :(

I actually had an idea where a chest would appear at the end of perilous with a 25% chance to get fire resistance gear that is needed for a dragon boss. Whether something like this is implemented or not I really want to fight a big dragon in multiplayer.

I have nothing against dungeon crawling generally, but it's a little depressing when I come from SP with these huge open spaces, and memorable set pieces, only to be thrown into the equivalent of a broom closet with three other people.

I can't count the number of times that I have been wondering around the world in SP and thought to myself: "How awesome would this be with friends running around with me?" Obviously, a full fledged zone from SP would be out of the question, but a castle or dragon lair and the surrounding hills/forests/desert/etc. would go a long way in opening up the world to the MP component.

Plus, I don't see how a fight against a High Dragon can happen without a wide open space for it to fly around in while lobbing fire/ice/lightning balls at us.

If they ever add dragons to MP, I can't wait for players to be like the SP AI in the game where ranged will run up next to the tank and die to cleave.  God knows most already do it on demon/red templar commanders.

Considering the name of the game is DRAGON age, having dragons in the MP would be amazing.
