I'm on my second playthrough, this time I had to side with the werewolves.  I fought against Zathrian but no trophy popped up even after telling him I won't protect him. What are the dialogues I need to choose to side with the werewolves?

I'm also a little nervous about siding with the mages.

*SPOILERS*

To side with the werewolves you have to kill all the elves.  To do this, you must persuade the Lady of the Forest and the werewolves to kill Zathrian and all the elves at the Dalish camp during the initial dialogue choices. You'll need about level 3 of Coercion to do this.

Siding with the mages is actually the better outcome. If you side with the Templars that means almost every mage dies or is killed off in the mage tower. Siding with the mages means the mages continue to survive under Irving's leadership and with the blessing of Templar Knight-Commander Greagoir.

also if you save the mages, you can get aid from them in the arl of redcliff, instead of having to use the arl's wife for the energy to enter the fade Irving and the mages will perform the ritual instead saving the arl's family and giving you a big bonus with alister's friendship

Yea, I wanted to side with the warewolves to get the trophy on my latest run through. It was also on a run that I planned on making an Arcane Warrior, so I went there as my first main quest after the Keep and Shale. I didn't realise you had to have a high coersion, so I couldn't do it ;(

It's OK though, I still have a rogue run through to do after this one.

I have an off-topic question, instead of making another thread just for this. When I do my rogue run, will I be able to get the 250 damage trophy with a dual wielding rogue (I don't really care for using bows)?

You can get both the mages and the templars if you play your cards right.

Perfect, thank you all. Level 3 coercion huh?
