After maxing out my legionnaire and promoting him I just don't see the point in playing MP anymore.
What is the point of playing the same 3 maps over and over and over again?
Will there be new modes with dlc.
Where is multiplayer going?

There will be more dlc, wait it out. There are larger issues with the game atm.

to maximize your character's potential. (gear wise)
to make a new character.
to play with friends
to get a smug feeling of satisfaction when you are the last man standing and win
etc...
Same incentive as any non-PvP MP setting like ME3 MP or MMO dungeons/raids
