Hi There,

Some users are experiencing issues trying to activate Cerberus network. We think this is isolated to PC and retail Collectors Editions only.

We have provided some users with this issue with replacement codes and reports are coming  back that we have fixed their problems. 

The problem seems to be specifically with the Cerberus code, the Collectors Edition DLC (armor and weapon) code is looking ok.

The PM flood is high right now so we will have an action plan to address this later in the day.

another note. Some users of the digital download version from the EA store are not getting codes emailed to them. We are looking at this as well and will post more information when we have it available.

I am having this issue, I redeemed my collector's edition cod, armor then when placing my Cerberus code in says that I have reg my collector's armor/gun and not the Cerberus Network. Game purchsed at Gamestop. Please help!

Code MAYBE bad? I would send you my codes to verify but like you said, PM flood is high so I think I'd just monitor this thread. Just hope my copy of Cerebus can be unlocked so that I may be able to enjoy the game proper. Don't want to run through 1/2 the game then having to restart a new character all over again.

Please enjoy your play through while we sort out this issue. Cerberus network wont affect the plot, it is primarily a conduit for you receiving free DLC. The game was designed to be quite enjoyable and balanced with out all the DLC goodies.

Thank you very much Ryan. I also experienced similar malfunction regarding the activation of Cerberus network using the code that came with the Collector Edition. I sincerely appreciate your time and effort in solving this matter. Hope that we could have some good news not far in the future

I don't have the collector's edition and I still cannot connect to the cerberus network and haven't received any of the items gotten from either of my pre-orders, DA:O, or the iPhone game (it said that something would be available).



I really don't see how I could, how would my EA account know what my gamer tag is? Wish I could just log-in from the game, but I suppose it's a bit late for that functionality to be added.

I agree with Alauzhen, the Cerberus network allows us to download Zaeed, new weps, missions, how can this not effect any plots when we were to receive him and have him in the story line.

Just chiming in that I have the same problem. I inputted all the promotion codes in the social website and I registered the game before hand. The Cerberus code which is on the classy Cerberus card was inputted and I got myself the CE armour as well. I went into the game and tried inputting the Cerberus code when asked and it says that the key is in use. So I am in the same boat.



My version of ME2 is CE, retail pack for the PC. Bought from a retailer called The Software Boutique in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. (Their website is www.tsb.com,my).

Hi, I just received my CE copy today, and I'm having the same problems.



I redeemed the Collector's Armor and was able to DL it fine, same with the Blood Dragon armor from my copy of Dragon Age.



I redeemed my Cerberus Card on the same site, it seems to have been redeemed, but I cannot download content, it keeps asking me to redeem a code or buy the content.

Yeah, same problem here as everyone else. PC Collector's Edition, preordered at a Gamestop. The CE and Gamestop codes worked fine, but when I entered the Cerberus code it gave me a link to the Collector's armor/AR again. Can't enter it on the website or in the game since it's 'already used.'



That being said, the game so far is *amazing.*

Ok you got me there.
The plots states of Zaeed specific mission will not affect the outcome of the endgame. Zaeed is ultra cool though and a bad ass. I would definitely want him to be in my squad and take him throughout. 
Midnight launches are fun  As much as I would like to say everything is perfect, we are having some hiccups. We are paying attention and listening which is pretty important right now.  Lots of variables to account for.

Normandy Crash and Zaeed will show up as free content when Cerberus is activated. We still have the release day ahead of us, we should have this sorted out soon.

I sent in my problem to the support email, but this seems like the more appropriate area. I used my Cerberus Network Card redemption code on the redeem code section of this website under my account, and now it wont let me use the code in game in order to activate the DLC. please help me.

Lol, did not mean to call you out or any thing and I do thank you for your replay Some hiccups are ok tho, with how big this event was and still will be threw out today more so then the rest of this week with running a code ver-system and downloading system and I know this is a big test for how the BioWare Social Network is being designed. I in fact love the idea of the cards and using codes and the saving system, This and the games BioWare has/is making is why I have left SquareSoft/Enix (that and they have move so far away form what Final Fantasy/RPG's used to be).

Keep us updated and let us know what we need to do to help fix this issue for the rest of the players soon to be coming to the network.

Best thing I can think of to help this issue it to add more info into the pst, going to start up a new thred asking what platform, store name/address, ect.

Well, I am currently having a killer time... literally. Playing on Insanity mode since I've had previous experience in Mass Effect 1... but WOAH, I've died like 5 times already and it's just the mundane encounters at the 1st and 2nd mission. Insanity truly lives up to its name. Is it even winnable? The A.I. is great though! Flanking me once I got to cover. Lots of very accurate covering fire when I tried to take pot shots while my shield was recovering. But yeah.... wish Zaeed was here with me doing all this ****.



I want this DLC thing resolved so I can just concentrate on the game.
