Hi There,

Some users are experiencing issues trying to activate Cerberus network. We think this is isolated to PC and retail Collectors Editions only.

We have provided some users with this issue with replacement codes and reports are coming  back that we have fixed their problems.

The problem seems to be specifically with the Cerberus code, the Collectors Edition DLC (armor and weapon) code is looking ok.

The PM flood is high right now so we will have an action plan to address this later in the day.

Really appreciate your feedback and support. Hope you enjoy the game :)

Regards

Ryan and Michael

another note. Some users of the digital download version from the EA store are not getting codes emailed to them. We are looking at this as well and will post more information when we have it available.

Hi Alauzhen,

Please enjoy your play through while we sort out this issue. Cerberus network wont affect the plot, it is primarily a conduit for you receiving free DLC. The game was designed to be quite enjoyable and balanced with out all the DLC goodies.

I agree with Alauzhen, the Cerberus network allows us to download Zaeed, new weps, missions, how can this not effect any plots when we were to receive him and have him in the story line.

Ok you got me there. ;)
The plots states of Zaeed specific mission will not affect the outcome of the endgame. Zaeed is ultra cool though and a bad ass. I would definitely want him to be in my squad and take him throughout.
Midnight launches are fun ;)  As much as I would like to say everything is perfect, we are having some hiccups. We are paying attention and listening which is pretty important right now.  Lots of variables to account for.
If you want PM me, let me know how the rest of the game is going :)

Would like to put down a marker here.

Pre order CE here.

Was able to DL the collectors armor and dragon armor fine, but Zaeed and Normandy crash didnt show up.

In my excitement and impatience I just purchased another code using 1200 bioware points, any hope of getting a refund of those points so can I enjoy future DLC :)

Normandy Crash and Zaeed will show up as free content when Cerberus is activated. We still have the release day ahead of us, we should have this sorted out soon.

Thanks for your note

@ General Corrado and Michael Gamble,

I got the XBOX 360 game
Retail
Standard
In the United States
Store: Gamestop in Harrisonburg, VA

I went on a computer online to register the the Cerberus Network and Terminus set and ended up making a social account and putting the codes through there instead of XBOX Live which the cards that I got from the gamebox and Gamestop led me to believe I should do.

Could you possible send me new codes or reset the ones I have? When I try to go into Cerberus On XBOX360 I get a message saying that the account is already in use.

Thanks

just log in to the game itself with the same account you used for social

Well just tried again and .......

"Unable to redeem code.
That code has already been used, and cannot be redeemed again."

EA needs to get its act together. I mean you would think that a game as anticipated as Mass Effect 2 would be cause to make sure you had your problems sorted out before you launch.

Please stop trying to redeem your codes. If you have the PC CE, simply go into the game itself, use the same ea online login you used before, and cerberus terminal will open up to you.

We have granted people with the incorrect codeset an instant entitlement to the cerberus network. you just need to make sure youre logged in (in the pc) as the same account you did on the social site

What do you mean use the same login as you used before?  The game automatically logs me in and shows the Connect button for Cerberus network.  Then it only gives me the options of entering a Cerberus code or Purchasing a new code or Cancel.  This is still not very clear at all.

try going into the options menu, and turning off auto-login.
after that, then restart the game. your login prompt will once again come up. enter the credentials from the social site.
