I purchased MS2 with Amazon and received it today. Activated the Cerberus code in Bioware Social Network. I then downloaded the content. After it downloaded I installed it. I then launched the game, connected with Cerberus and typed in the code, it's telling me that the "code has already been used"....what?! So..... what's the solution? anyone.....EA.....hello....help!

Xbox 360, CE. I activated my cerberus code online like it told me to, but when I started my game it asked me to enter it again. It told me that it was already in use.

I am having this issue with a Collectors' Edition preordered from GameStop.

It says my Cerberus code is already in use...

Fix me please.

So how is this going to be resolved? Seems so many of us are having problems, how long to expect an answer and a solution?

Game installed fine, PC Version CE, but it says my Product Key isn't valid and that ALL of my DLC codes couldn't be recognized

EDIT: Cerberus code was the only one to work.

It seems to have resolved for me. Methinks Bioware is slowly going through and activating Cerberus for people who seem to have issues.

I put my code in and it worked the first time I ran the program, but as soon as I exited the game "forgot" it. The next time I logged in I was asked for the code again, but this time I was given the code already in use message. Add me to the "please help" list.

Cerberus code was accepted, yet isnt recognized in game. any attempts to reuse the code result in code in use error.



Collectors Armor DLC was getting the code in use error right from the start.

Downloaded a patch for the 360 version this morning, does this have anything to do with it? Re-entered the code and it still didn't work.

My codes still aren't working (the Cerebus code and the Collector Armor/Assault Rifle). I would really love to get some kind of response on this topic. Supposedly, the issue was supposed to be partially alleviated last night at 4pm PST. Since then, I haven't heard anything from Bioware or EA.



Hope they manage to clear all of this up...ME2 rocks, but having Cerebus and all of the CE DLC be messed up really spoils the prize somewhat...:/

My issue is also still unresolved. They said they fixed it, but I believe those are only isolated cases. I agree that this does indeed ruin the experience a little bit. I would really like my account to be fully functional. Hopefully BioWare and EA will fix this soon.

Mine got resolved overnight, I just started playing the game again and it automatically connected to the cerebus network, without me entering any new information whatsoever. I think Bioware is running through the accounts to solve this... finally!

Well, that's good news. I still can't register the game because the "code has already been used" but I was able to activate the cerberus network and my slew of other codes on the site. When I open the game it just constantly tells me I've timed out or my connection has been interrupted. Guess I'll bide my time.

Purchased Mass effect, was able to preload, eventually with some help i was able to activate but now i'm getting Code allready in use when i try to activate cerberus network

I preordered CE from Steam. I was able to activate my codes just fine but it wouldn't let me import my character from Mass Effect 1 and it won't allow me to gain access to Cerberus. I keep getting an error message that says connection to the Mass Effect 2 server was interrupted or timed out.

I cannot access Cerberus via the website. The code is said to be in use. I can access cerberus via PC in game only, however when i try to access it via your website it ask me to pay for it and when i re-enter my code it says its in use. I own the PC CE version... and this I have just about had it.

Why don't you use the same DLC-system like in Dragon Age. This would be much better.

THIS IS BS bioware!!! Merge Cerberus with windows live and xbox live and be done with it. Sure its far more complex than that but as it is... your Cerberus is failing and the aggravation it is causing is not worth it. Especially since it has been five days and things still are not working correctly. I feel ripped off of the extra ten dollars I spent to get the CE version of ME2 and this happens.

Same issue here: PC CE version. I can access Cerberus Network via the in-game menu. When I try to access using the website or I click on "Extra -> Online EA Store" I'm asked to buy the access to Cerberus Network. Re-entering the code is no use, as it says it's already been redeemed...

Is some solution planned for this?
