Apparently there was a Day 1 patch for DA:I ? I don't remember downloading anything for this game, so how do I get this patch on Xbox 360 ?

I am not familiar with DA:I on X360, but how did you obtain it? with a retail disc or digitally? Also were you on Xbox Live when launching or installing the game for the first time? You shouldn't worry about what version you're on, as long as you're connected to Xbox live when launching the game you will always be on the latest version available.

There was no day 1 patch (played on 360) in fact there is no patch for any version right now.

Bought a physical copy at the local store. Good to hear that I don't have to worry about not having the most recent version. Yes, I was logged in when I installed the game and always log in when I start playing. That means I should have the Day 1 patch. All is well.

I definitely recall downloading the day 1 patch. It downloaded when I went to play the game.
However, I don't believe they told us exactly what it fixed.

Then it behaved differently than any patch I've seen for the 360, ah well.

Indeed. On X360 If a game update you got is over 6MB you can locate the file on the dashboard under the system tab, under hard drive and in the game's folder (In this case DA:I). This way you'll know for certainty. But again I am not familiar with DA:I on that platform so I can't check myself, or if the day 1 patch is over 6MB and locatable.

There was no day 1 patch for the 360 (and if there was, it was hidden in a place only Force users can find.) I'm also gonna hold off getting this latest patch until it's confirmed to be beneficial. There's plenty of cases where patches do more harm than good so... I'll be on vanilla for a while.
