Can someone please explain what the Inquisitor did to Coryphenus after he was defeated and dropped the ball? What was that black hole that swallowed him? Did he die? Did the Inquisitor banish him to the Fade? If so, that's a little odd, considering we just spent the entire game preventing Coryphetits from getting back there.

Please enlighten me, because the whole thing made zero sense to me.

I like to think that Quizzy trapped him between Thedas and the Fade, what that means exactly....well bioware loves to leave things ambiguous.

Either that means snapping him in half, ripping a fade tear in his body thus ripping him apart, or he's somewhere else, like that Eluvian world.

I'm guessing the same that happens when you get your privates stuck in a zipper.

He send him into the Fade/black City physically, like Cory wanted all along. In DA4 we will see Cory as a magister ascended to g.odhood

Cory was mortal, since we killed his dragon. So, killing him should be permanent.

However, for an extra slice of ambiguity, the Inquisitor decided to open a rift inside Cory's chest and suck him through into the Fade. Nothing SHOULD be able to survive that, but... you know.

Were gonna get Corys talking head on a stick aren't we?

That would make a great mage staff though.

I assumed it was a generic bad-guy-explodes-in-shower-of-CGI death. The kind I saw happen to Azmodan, Diablo and Malthael in a universe just around the corner.

There's no space between the Fade and Thedas, just a barrier. While the Eluvian world you need an eluvian for. It wouldnt be smart to stuff him in there as he'd be able to find another eluvian.

You open a rift inside him that pulls him apart is what I think.
