PC:CE here, redeemed on this site with a direct link from the Mass Effect 2 website, and no Zaeed or Normandy Crash Site content. Got Terminus, Inferno, Dragon, and CE content thought.



Gonna wait till this is fixed to play though. I still have some stuff I can do in ME1.

By the complete and total lack of any official response since the game has been out since midnight I'm going to say that EA/BioWare are A) Unaware (not surprised), and do not care. Bonus is bonus- you got the game, they feel no reason to work to fix a 'bonus'.



I'm in the same boat, only unlike most of you I actually called. I was told no one had reported this as happening, and there was nothing I could do.

So its just down or somthing? i entered both codes on the site, im getting a little scared to tell the truth, i dont want to spend 15 bucks on the network when i have it for free...

Yeah,I have the collector edition and no Cerebrus network too. I posted in the Technical support forum along with a LOT of others.

Reports on the Xbox.com site are showing the same thing if you're a 360 player. Some folks are suggesting that if you have multiple EA accounts you need to activate the codes on the one that shares your Xbox account. That accounts for some of the problem, but me, I have one Xbox and 1 EA account, and a lot of others do too.



I think what's dismaying is that EA won't acknowledge there's a problem.

As loathe as I am to say it, has anyone tried to purchase the Cerebus Network? I input my code from the Network Card via the "Redeem Code!" link on the mass effect site, and it gave me a download link the the CE armor I'd already redeemed instead.

I have 1 email between my EA account and my Xbox account. I am unable to log into Cerebus ingame as the email is in use.



So much fail.



Additionally, I am unable to link my gamertag to the EA account as the email is in use. Good lord.

So, me being impatient, I said screw it and spent my 400 points I'd had set aside for RtO, plus bought another 800 points, and just bought it from the site. Good News: It apparently works fine... two new files, Zaeed and Normandy Crash Site were added to my downloadable content options. Bad News: They're scamming you out of another 15 bucks or so in order to get the Cerebus Network functional.

it says im connected to the cerberus network but i can only download the normandy crash site... and i put in the promo code for the armor and gun, signed up here, and its not appearing anywhere in my game... why!?!?>!?!?

So maybe they really screwed up and mixed the codes, so that all the Cerberus codes out there are just only Collector armor codes...

I am having trouble as well. This fiasco is probably going to take a while to be fixed so instead I purchased the Cerberus network trough Xbox live.

Take your game back to the store and get it exchanged for a new one of the same make and modle. The stores will do that. This will cost EA and encourage them to get this fixed ASAP. I Too redemed my coded online logged into my account not in game. The same why I redemed the armor and gun code. Why should this code be different.

umm wrong, it says nothing on the card about not redeeming at masseffect.com. when you do it actually says it will be available for you in game for xbox or to DL for the PC

How did you know and why are you then on this site instead of playing the damn thing. This site tells you enter the code. The install screen tells you to go to this site. You don't get to the in game screens until long after alot of this stuff takes place. The in game should flawlessly linke to this site to get your activation codes and use them in game. This a BIO WARE problem not an end user issue. I'm sure there will be people who fall into either catagorie. I'm sure BIO WARE did not plan this but they should not make the code enterable here and in game if the access is not transparent.

I had this problem, here is the solution.



I had an EA.com account but my Xbox Live gamertag was not linked to it. I tried going through EA support website and linking my gamertag to my EA account but it would not let me, said gamertag was in use.



This (as I later found out) is the reason I was not able to access the Cebereus network in-game.



I tried the EA live support for help on this issue, but dont waste your time. It puts you inque but when it gets to your turn it disconnects you from the chat session.



I called EA supoort by phone, was on hold for well over 120 minutes but was able to talk to someone. They were able to link my gamertag to my EA account. I restarted Mass Effect 2 and was able to access the Cerberus network and the other downloaded content I registered at this site.



Expect to be on hold a long time, it is after all release day. You could also try emailing them through EA support but I didn't want to wait for a reply.

For those of you with the PC CE, and who are redeeming your cerberus network code (either in game or online, it shouldnt matter) - and then being told in game that its already used...



never fear! we have a fix coming down the pipe right away (should be today) that will give you your cerberus!
