Warden and Inquisitor->Hawke
I'm enjoying my Inq's so much, but just love my Wardens and that story.
Shepard trumps all tho'.
My Shepard died with Thane.

Which one out of these 3 heroes do you enjoy more? which one do you believe is more powerful? in Solo combat and Party combat.
This is probably one of the hardest questions ever.
HoF was great because it was my intro to DA and I loved it. I really felt immersed and loved watching the story unfold. But the most powerful in combat? Probably not.
Hawke - I probably enjoyed Hawke's story the most. As others have said, this one felt the most real. The bit with her mother just broke my heart, not to mention her siblings. I also enjoyed romancing Fenris, as I've been in love with his VA Gideon Emery since FF12 (where he voiced Balthier).
Inquisitor - she might pull ahead of Hawke only because the Solas romance is the Best. Thing. Ever. Full stop it is the best romance storyline of all the DA. I can only hope we get some (hopefully happy) resolution to it. Aside from that though, the Inquisitor's got a great bunch of colleagues and friends, and I like how she so far has the best opportunity to fix the stupid Mage/Chantry/Templar relations. I also think any incarnations of my Lavellan would be the best in combat.
I loved my Warden's story, but quizzy is awesome too. So I don't know... Buth both > Hawk.
I hope we aren't done with Quizzy, I feel there needs much more.
I honestly don't think I could rank them.
If I had to pick 2 of them to die and 1 to live, I would pick my Inquizzie to live, cos I still feel the need for closure on her story.
Ask me again once all the dlc comes out and we're on to DA4.
Warden and Inquisitor are pretty much on the same level for me, their stories felt more personal and more freedom of choice in regards to background, race, etc. I liked Hawke, but it felt too restricted playing as that character. Most powerful is hard to decide considering both the warden and inquisitor defeated a big enemy and encountered several battles overtime. I'll just say they both rock, it was sad to see their stories end.

Orlesian Warden-Commander > Inquisitor > Hero of Ferelden
Hawke was not included since I am the only person here who has not played DA II.
Ehhhhh really difficult for me to rank them. Hawke and Inquisitor both are voiced so it made it easier for me to form an attachment to them. I spent more time with Hawke than I have with the Inquisitor so far. Right now I am feeling Inquisitor & Hawke > Warden.
Like others have said, Hawke was a more personal story. Her companions were more like family, especially as time went on and she lost more of her actual family. In DAO I always found myself more attached to the companions than the Warden. In DA2 I adored my Sarcastic Hawke, and she had a good friendship with all of the companions. (Aside from the 1 or 2 times she rivalmanced Anders and Fenris)
As far as most powerful goes? Hrmmm. My canon play throughs are always as mages. Warden was an Arcane Warrior, Inquisitor a Rift Mage. They both feel like they are a bit more powerful than Hawke.
Hero of Ferelden- Being a Grey Warden is so fun!
Inquisitor-Spearheaded a organization because he/she had the mark.
Hawke- Hawke's accomplishments in DA2 were pretty muted compared to HOF.
Inquisitor. Love his looks, personality, and he is a beast on the battlefield. Same goes for my female Inquisitor. And while I do like my female Hawke, can't say the same about my male Hawke. Just didn't connect with him like I did with her. As for the Warden, never cared for him. Felt the same as playing with a cardboard box with a sword.
Snarky lady Hawke FTW, the others meh.
Hero of Ferelden first, all my Wardens were powerful people (loved my dual wielding warrior). Then it's the Inquisitor followed closely by Hawke. The separation between the last two isn't all that great.
Hero and Queen of Ferelden - first and foremost. I was more immersed in the game playing O than I was playing 2 and as yet I. In 2 I kept running around finding stuff about the wardens and my Hero and Alistair. 2 and I feel more third person than O.
And then there's Alistair

Well my Cadash and Aeducan (my main Warden, though in my hc Aeducan led Warden recruits from the other origin stories against the Blight) are basically working together for their own agenda so they're equal to me.
So it goes Warden = Cadash but are greater then Tobias Hawke (who in my hc is a lot different).
The Inquisitor with his/her unique ability to manipulate the Fade is the most powerful, and stronger than the Warden, and Hawke. However the Inquisitor without that unique ability is on equal level with the Warden. That said, I'd like to give the Warden a credit for starting from the scratch, gather alliance and building the army to combat the Darkspawn from nothing. While the Inquisitor already has significance power, resources, manpower from the start. My Hawke is just looking out for his family, but unfortunately he got dragged into other people's mess, and the irony is he left some of the mess he created it for the Inquisitor to clean up.
The Inquisitor (with unique ability) > The Warden >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hawke.
The Inquisitor (without unique ability) = The Warden >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hawke.
This is a tough one. For one, Warden Mahariel will always be my special baby since her adventures in DA:O (and her romance with Alistair) is what got me so hooked on the Dragon Age series in the first place. Plus, I felt like a hero by the end of the game. ![]()
But then playing DA:I, I must say I also really, really, REALLY like my Inquisitor Lavellan. Her journey in DA:I has been quite a blast for me, and her romance with Solas is just.... *starts crying*... yeah you know. Also, if someone's got to fix up Hawke's mess, it's her.
Hawke is... I'll admit, while I had fun playing her, her story never really resonated with me. Also, I was never really happy that I was forced to only play as a human so in a way, I never really saw her as mine per se. I don't know, her life seems like such a mess (and fell in love with the wrong kind of guy) that I eventually just face palmed at her overall story arc. Not to mention in DA:I, she ended up as food for some giant Fade spider thing. Gosh, what a rotten life she lived. ![]()
So I guess for me, in terms of enjoyment, it's Warden = Inquisitor >>>>>>> Hawke. At this point I love my Warden and Inquisitor almost equally with the Warden being slightly ahead. (I love my Dalish elves, can't you tell?)
In terms of power, I guess since the Inquisitor has the mark, I'd say her but without it, I'd say the Warden wins hands down (plus, my Warden is a warrior while my Inquisitor is a rogue archer). My Hawke is a mage (quite a powerful one) but I was more in awe with my Warden and Inquisitor's achievements compared to hers.

I enjoy all three, but have to admit when I think about it, the Inquisitor has a lot of power than the other two in terms of actual damaging power and politically.
The Inquisitor has the voice of nations behind him/her as well as the Mark which can close rifts. Still, I'll miss my snarky Hawke ;_; Her level of snarkiness cannot be denied.

I feel you! I am so attached with my warden and alistair that I was going through the game with ease. I was also so immersed with story that I usually based the decisions on how I wanted my character to be molded. DA:O is really beautifully created and the character developed really well.
With Hawke, though, I felt like the story is so personal that some decisions is somewhat forced for you to decide that I find it not as enjoyable as my warden is. It felt a bit constricting and I don't really feel attached to Hawke. Hawke's character just felt so set that its not that exciting seeing him/her developed through the story.
For the Inquisitor, I chose to be a Rogue (I felt that if I also become a warrior, it would be somewhat closely related to a templar) so that I would have a character who is not obliged to side on mages/templars just because I'm a mage. I wanted to make the inquisitor a more neutral party so what ever my Inquisitor choose its for the good of many not because "i am a mage". So far I am loving my Inquisitor wayyyyyyyy better than hawke. I am still half way through the game so I still have yet decide if I'm gonna love my inquisitor yet.
But so far without question My Queen Warden ----- Inquisitor -------------------------------------------Hawke
As characters I enjoy all three. Honestly I'm equally attached to them all.
As for who's the most powerful....
I need to establish that my "canon" Warden, Champion, and Inquisitor are all three warriors, so that puts them on an even playing field to start.
I'd say my Warden is the best warrior in terms of skill among them. My Hawke and Inquisitor are more on a level with each other, though I'd probably give it to my Inquisitor due to size and reach - qunari and all that.
That being said, warrior abilities aren't all they have. The Inquisitor ultimately has the ability to open fade rifts that tear people apart and suck them into the fade, which is considerably more powerful than the warden's special power of blood abilities.
I think my Inquisitor is the best natural leader among them. My Hawke's too irresponsible and my warden too impatient to do what my Inquisitor pulled off.
