Hwllo, everyone,

Let me sart by saying that I'm a huge fan of both Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises. I happen to also have a predilection ofr strategy games, such as the Total War saga or Paradox Interactive's grand strategy historic games. Both series of games share a great advanteage which is moddability.

Thus, those two inclinations converge, and I'm entertaining the idea of making a mod for one of those games based in the Dragon Age setting, but before undertaking such enterprise I'd like to ask wether Bioware has a established stance regarding using their settings and lore in creating mods for other games.

I'd like to make some clarification on that question and the intention behind it:

1) No profit would be made out of the mod; it would be made from players for players, only to enjoy the DA universe in a new support, much like fanart or fanfictions, just using a gaming infrastructure

2) No assets from actual Bioware products would be used without previous permission, of course. Only names of places and characters would be mentioned, and the maps publicly aviable (e.g. in the wiki).

3) Of course, all authorship of the material would be recognised to be Bioware's, claiming only credit for the actual implementation.

Thank you very much in advance, and I apologise beforehand if this is an appropriate mean for asking that.
