I let Morrigan drink. I have that achievement dangling until I play as a Dalish.

I think it makes more sense and is better for character development if Morrigan drinks it.

At first I let my Dalish elf drink, but then after learning a bit more about the ending I reloaded and had Morrigan drink it.

My elf didn't let Morrigan drink from the Well. He couldn't trust her with all the knowledge.
And now, he probably searches for a time machine to let her drink it instead.

I also let Morrigan drink, because I trusted her and she has all the knowledge. I'm curious though, how everything plays out if the Inquisitor drinks.

I didn't let Morrigan drink from the well, and I will do it again. She never really tells you what she wanted to do with the knowledge gain from drinking from the well, and I didn't really trust her motives.
Doesn't she just want to preserve old magic and knowledge? If it was Origins I would be less inclined to trust her. But she was a lot more mature in Inquisition, maybe because she was a mother.

I drank from it myself, with my Dalish Mage.
A bit of the turning point for the character. He worked so hard to make the Inqusition a force to be reckoned with, carefully forging alliances and trying to make sure that he keeps his power, if the Inquisition manages to destroy Corypheous - only to be enslaved by one of the most powerful entities in Thedas.
Blinded by his lust for knowledge and power, he completely missed the fact that Corypheous wanted to use the Vessel, not drink himself. He failed to recognize his rival's reasoning behind this.
Oh, and it's Well of Sorrows, not of Souls.

I let Morrigan do it in the end. It was tough because my Morrigan was not a mother at all, so she didn't seem very different from her old self. However, the epic tantrum at the fallout along with being able to say, "Bound to your mother for eternity ... Ouch!" was priceless. But my Quizzie was no follower of old Elven gods and being Andrastian herself thought it would be fairly hypocritical to take Morrigan's position that they must not exist anymore. After all, if my PC believes in the Maker and these crusty old Elves clearly have survived bound here for centuries, why is Morrigan so sure she isn't just becoming the next temple slave? Ah well, better her than me I say.

So who ultimately drank in your pt? I admit I'm going to let Morrigan drink as while I do like her as a character my Warden romanced Leliana and I care to much about my Trevelyan to make him Flemeth's possible thrall.

Like her mother ask her "To what end?". Morrigan never explain why she wants to preserve old magic and knowledge.

Once my first Inquisitor realized the Well had a geas he let Morrigan drink. Turned out to be a good decision.
My Dalish elf mage drank, though.

To help the Hero of Ferelden rid himself of the Taint for one.

My female elf inquisitor drank it bit because of the heritage thing but mostly because there is no way in hell I'm trusting morrigan. After seeing the result she had a crisis of faith with Sera convincing her that it was all bull.

My Dalish mage drank because hello, Dalish, but also because while Morrigan had proven her knowledge useful, she hadn't given the Herald enough reason to trust her with too much power yet.

I had the Arcane Knowledge perk the second time through and when the Magequisitor said it was a geas I was like "Nuh-uh, drink away Morrigan". Besides, the Gaelic mythology is strong in that quest. I'm pretty sure Morrigan is 'supposed' to drink it.
