Well, my Warden married King Alistair, so he's got enough romancing going on. I might have hooked up with Varric if he were actually emotionally available, but so much for that with the whole Bianca thing - lol.

Definitely Cullen. Wanted to romance him even since Origins. The option for m/m is always lacking for DA in term of quality. 

The gay romances aren't written poorly, i'm assuming you mean the physical attraction and lack of manlier gay options as the problem

So I was thinking about this the other day and talking with a friend. I would really like the option to romance Conner. Obviously not with this game but if he turns up as a companion in a Tevinter based game(doubt it) I would love the option to romance him as a male mage. I would like the opportunity to change his viewpoint on mages despite what he went through as a child. It would be really cool to have a companion that we kinda shaped from previous play throughs, if he is dead naturally another companion could be an option or if he is possessed to would be interesting to have a desire demon inspired companion that deceives our PC throughout a game.

If not him, than a grown up Kieran as the OGB with all his Morrigan son swagger as a mage with forbidden magoc.

Kieran was such a missed opportunity as a plot device b/c of player choice.

If not those two, then I'd like to see a homosexual Warrior type character for a first in DA games.

Ariane from Witch Hunt DLC. Really liked her character and surprised that she hasn't made an appearance in Dragon Age 

since. I'd like to hope she'd be available in Dragon Age 4 but that's probably just wishing thinking.

Seeing how Leliana looked at the Winter Palace brought those feels back from Origins. Shame she doesn't have her hair out in Inquisition, but if its something she only does with her love, the Warden, I won't complain!

Not a fan of the gay drama storyline from Dorian (would have prefer for Dorian to just happen to be gay), and Iron Bull lacks romance. It's fun and all, but I want more swooning romance like with Kaidan or Alistair.

I was holding on to hope for so long that he was going to be romanceable.  When it was announced that 2 would be race gated I was SO SURE that meant Varric was a LI.  "I will play a dwarf if I have to!"  I said to myself.

I just want a lesbian who isn't quirky or girlish. Someone elegant, composed, and strong like Cassandra or Vivienne. Hardened Leliana is the closest to that but even then she's still kind of a space cadet. Why do the boys get all the cute ice princesses and us ladies get the clingy weirdos?

 

As for characters in-game I kind of wished we could have flirted with Krem but he seems like the professional type who wouldn't be cool with flirting with the boss so I get it.
