Change your settings for the shiny hair.    Tweak them around to see what works and does not work for you. Its how I got rid of the shiny hair

 

That's isn't the issue post-patch, pre-patch changing the mesh to high or ultra would solve it. I have tried restarting the game with low, medium, high and ultra presets hair still shiny in all of them, I also changed tweaked the settings. The patch must of caused some mesh/texture issue that gets stuck so it wont change when you change the settings.

 

shiny hair, no scars and the grass outside skyhold looks a lot worse than I remember it being as well.

 

Also, I can confirm that the grass looks worse too.

If you are experiencing problems with the mesh quality , restart your system , it worked for me.

 

I did that too and it didn't make any difference =/ I shall try one more though.

What do you mean with shiny hair? The hairs of my chars have a bit a metallic look (like a polished car), but I can't remember if it was the same before the patch.

If you cant tell the difference then it must looked the same pre patch for you.

I restarted the whole system not just the game , should try that perhaps.

 

Yeah that's what I did earlier and again just now, restarting my system did not solve the mash/textures issues for me =/

Is anyone on PS4 experiencing some of the issues talked about in the other posts or is it PC specific?

 

I'd rather be sure on whether I want to download this patch or not.

So, new patch is screwing up appearance with no way to change it back. A Mirror of Transformation sure would be nice

Aldereth C on page 2 read that the patch forces everything to low settings =/.

Ya worst for me as well, the level of detail has been dropped by alot

Just did Cass' personal quest at Caer Oswin, and the dying seeker we find doesn't have red lyrium veins popping out anymore.

I'm amused that my game had no graphical issues before this and now it's shiny hair and wrong complexions and overall just a feeling something is not right looks wise in the game anymore. Hopefully there's a hotfix for this asap, because I can't play the game when my character doesn't look like he should. It's immersion breaking.. =/ That and screenshots are out of the question, and I need them.
