i have always said the same thing, in this series no matter what or who  DON'T GIVE YOUR   TRUST TO THE MAGES EVER.....  in the end they abandon you while you remain with nothing......

 Yeah, noticed he'd taken all of his gear with him after I finished. Oh well. I made that stuff for him anyways. Hope he enjoys it. And that every time he looks at the staff I named "heartbreaker" he remembers what he did.

I hate Solas and he hates my inquisitor. Squizzy thinks he's a self hating elf who abandoned his own people and Solas thinks Squizzy is a know it all Dalish who hasn't done anything worth respecting.

 

On a personal note Solas can be a real d*ck if he doesn't like you.

I'm curious, what does he say to you if he outright hates you at the end? I've never been able to get him to anything less than friendship, so I always get the "I will always respect you" or the romanced line.

 

On a personal note Solas can be a real d*ck if he doesn't like you. 

He really can. I watched a video of sarcastic, pissed-off solas chewing the Inquisitor out and then getting punched. It was pretty great.

Yeaaah, I got his disapproval for keeping the wardens (he really doesn't like those guys), making cole more human (though he admits that it might not end up being as bad as he feared), and drinking from the well (god did he ever get mad at me about this, lol). But actually, I got a lot of approval back after that last one for explaining my motives. Also got a ton of approval for reuniting celine and briala and convincing the court to execute florianne. He liked how cunning I was I guess. 

 

Gonna make a female elf and romance him because he is one of my favorite characters in the series so far. Anyways, can you remove the vallaslin as a male elf? Like, in a bromantic scene or something? Cause I feel like I never got a full relationship with him as a male elf. Sucks that males can't romance him.

It's an amazing romance. One of the best I've ever seen in a Bioware game. I'm kinda stunned at how much I ended up liking the guy, bald and all.

 

And yeah, vallaslin removal is strictly for his elfy love. He really does let down his mask with a romanced Inquisitor. It wasn't until I started a playthrough where I wasn't romancing him that I realized how guarded he usually is.

You know, I still really like him. But I knew something was off when I put all the following together:

 

1.You know, just appeared to help out in the beginning and just happened to know stuff about the mark. But you know.

2. Subtitles were not translating anything when he said stuff in elven, and he said a lot of things in elven. But you know

3. When I asked if he wanted to take a dip in the magical elven encyclopedia pool, he angrily said no and don't ask me again. Mr. all things elven and wisdom and knowledge sharing, didn't want to get into the pool of ultimate elven knowledge. Very angry that I would even suggest such a thing.

 

Yeah, something is up with that. Told Morrigan to get into the pool and then I looked it up on the internet after that part. The game doesn't give me any strong enough reason from a role playing aspect to get into that pool. At least with the character I was playing, if I had a character that was totally taking over the idea that she was the herald of andraste for ultimate power, that'd be different.

 

I really honestly think there shouldn't have been a choice there, that the Inquisitor had to get into the pool but I'm pretty sure that would have pissed off other fans too much. At least something stronger than, hey Morrigan is kind of untrustworthy according to crazy Leliana and a few companions might hate you for it.
