Still have the bug "can't move after joining a game already in progress".

Can cast spells and look around but my feet are superglued to the ground.

I've not gotten past this experience as of yet.. always get thrown into games already in progress and keep being glued to the ground (8 tries so far)..

Played several games last night with friends on PS4 and it seemed more stable than it was before. We did initially get a message saying you couldn't connect because we didn't have the same dlc as the host. That was strange but after closing the game and opening it again it connected fine. No missing key issues so far.

This is not a "gotcha", this is the concept of risk and reward that was the original intent for the treasure rooms from the get-go. The intent is to make you stop and think "Is it worth it to try and get more treasure? Are we too low? Yes/No/LeroyJenkins" and can lead to a lot of fun.

Yes and no. It's not a gotcha but there is no risk or real reward. As it is currently you can still send in 1 or 2 people to get the chest while the rest continue to clear. The chests are almost not even worth getting.

You also have no reason to run perilous difficulty currently unless you want challenges complete.

Make the chests worth getting and make your hardest difficulty actually worth running.

Flytarget has had the best idea for that, make defeating the final room and boss unlock a chest that gives a random blue item with some gold and a chance for that blue to be purple. Increase the item level limit from the chests according to difficulty, routine can get item levels 1-12, threatening gets 8-20, perilous gets 12-23.

Try removing command line arguments, or just running DAI straight from Origin. Worked for me.

Different difficulty levels exist because people like different levels of challenge. It's not about effort/profit ratio.

I think people like different levels of challenge but I completely disagree on profit. The entire reason you do runs in this game is to earn gold so that you can hopefully get a high level item that will progress your character. It's pretty much like any other loot based game but with RNG gear that you get from chests you buy. We NEED a reason to run perilous other than just increased gold and XP.

Crashes to desktop still occur a lot.

Keys not dropping still happen as well it happened to us last night after the patch.

I figured the NUMBER ONE fix for PC MP would be the connection issues...

Before the patch, I would typically CTD (Crash To Desktop) once a night.

After the patch, I CTDd 4 times in 1 hour of play... BUT I got a little window that came up saying that something happened and that Windows was searching for a solution to the problem.

So far, I count this as a step in the wrong direction.

BIOWARE:  I do like the push to talk... but there needs to be some sort of configuration within the game to adjust mic input, or other player volume.  I play with several friends and we use Ventrillo to talk.  I can talk normally through that, but in game it's hit or miss whether or not I can hear someone else or they can hear me.

Unfortunately I have to say the patch screwed things over even more on PC, for me at least. Been having a lot more weird connection issues and trouble finding 'working' games. Also new weird bug.. First I can't join any game. Then I exit out to main menu, when i click MP it just puts me in some random lobby instantly, bypassing the MP menu.

None of the major connection and crash issues have been resolved. None of the major gameplay bugs have been resolved. Just added a bunch of new issues. I don't even.. . . . what

That's a really, really stupid reason to play a game. I play because it's fun, not because I'm trapped by some irrational compulsion.

Since the patch, there has been a bug when fighting the red templars where you have to kill a target which is one of there assassins and he doesn't die. It has happen twice and since the patch barely rolled out that is not a good sign

People play games for different reasons.  To expect to get better reward on a more challenging difficulty is not anywhere near out of the question.  Why would you even argue against this, its not like adding higher loot drops/more money to perilous would in any way hinder your ability to "play it purely for the challenge".  All that would be happening to you, personally, is that you would be getting better stuff for doing what you wanted to do in the first place.

I never said perilous shouldn't offer better rewards. I was commenting on the false idea that there's "no reason to run perilous difficulty currently". Of course there is, it's not just about gold.

Yes, rewards need to correspond to difficulty levels on certain level, so that people who are only after gold are more inclined to play on a difficulty level that's suitable for their skill and ability. If rewards were all equal, Routine would be full of people running OP level 20 characters, ruining all the fun for those who are playing it because it's the right difficulty setting for them. On the other hand, if Perilous offers too much reward, it will be full of players who have no business playing at that difficulty, leeching off from others - again, ruining other people's fun.

There needs to be balance. I find the current situation quite good.

You're right: people play for different reasons. And a lot of people should examine the reasons why they play in the first place, it might prove illuminating.

Now, I love the game, I have played it lots - I really think you have a gem on your hands if you iron out the bugs and expand on it .... like a lot!

But these treasure rooms risk & reward?? I have never really found them challenging even though they can kill new people instantly, and at a certain level it just becomes a joke. You play on perilous and you kill the guardian (which is supposed to be some dead hero king or something), and what do you get? An item level 6 dagger? "Wow, thats the greatest thing I've ever seen"....You'd be better off just giving us the gold which is actually usable for something, as I have tons of crafting materials already and really nothing to use it on at the moment. It might come later, but still... I'd rather see you do something different, like make them rarer, and make them into minidungeons or challenges where, the further you go the harder they become and so increases the level of the reward.... I dont know, you figure it out :P. Bottom line is that after the first 10-12 levels I played in this game I dont think I have ever recieved an item I can use for anything in these rooms, and I open every room I can (for the gold of course, duh), and I'm above 200 prestige. That either means that they are incredibly incredibly rare, or just useless. Right now I'm leaning on the latter.

Again, as an experienced gamer, I think the game is great but you really need a lot more content... and why not?

I want bigger dungeons and dragon bosses! plz
