Origin -> Application Settings -> uncheck "Automatically keep my games up to date".
Awesome - thank you so much. Truthfully, I remember when I first installed Origin (quite a while ago), I went through all the settings to tailor them, and this seems like the sort of thing I'd disable. Hopefully I followed through. Fingers crossed.

How do I know you are not on ultra on both and why do we see the back of the one you say is low?
Only Mesh settings are changed, my other settings are like medium/high. I was focusing on the hair style, kinda..

Correct. That's because it seem the latest patch broke the graphics in the game completely, and is forced into "low quality" even if you select high/ultra. Many reports on shadows, grass, surroundings etc that looks horrible on max settings after patch.
Maybe they coded something wrong and forced the PC version into "Xbox 360 graphics mode"?
There is no difference from low well I think I have to check.

I'm mad cause the patch took away my Wrinkled complexions off my Qunari, Went into make a new CC and now they are missing 10 Complexions, all just empty.
Now what? Can i undo the patch?
Any clue if this can be fixed quickly, i find it very annoying for some reason ugh.

Well this is annoying.. I have not yet loaded up the desktop so I have not got the patch, but I want to play multiplayer today so I will need to be on online mode.. looks like no opting out for me :/
I wonder the same thing. I understand this would remove multiplayer functionality for me for a while and that's sad and all, but I'm not 100% into MP yet any way. I want to beat the game once or twice more before I dig deep into online play.Now what? Can i undo the patch?
I can confirm that my AMD R9 290 video card makes me into a 50's 'greaser' my beard shines as well as my hair. Hoping for a hotfix it almost seems like there was zero Q & A done for this bit of the patch. I'd have thought any graphics changes would be Q&Aed on all settings to make sure there are no unintended consequences.
Does anyone know how to uninstall a patch on origin?

Yep despite high/ultra meshes hair is amazingly shiny. lol.
Some of the textures seem ok. But its hard to tell. Also had my characters complexion completely change. Freckles and scars are gone too.
Definitely seems like we got stuck with 360 patch or something somehow on PC. D: Everything seems to be on low and voids graphics settings.
I have ultra meshes and high quality textures (Mantle API). My inquisitor is definitely affected. Other characters seem fine. Example pics:

Supposedly the patch has fixed graphical quality to low regardless of setting. It just so happens that the change to hair is the most obvious and jarring. Not cool.

EA isn't that stupid, they know that in comparison to Ubisoft they look less evil, so they're actually trying to improve (free games for example), now that Ubisoft is the internet's new punching bag.
Figured they'd screw something up with the patch. I didn't assume it would be, you know, how everything in the game looks.
Interesting. I had the opposite effect: I had the glassy hair on before the patch, and it is no longer there with the patch.
All my settings are low except for the mesh, as that's on high.
Still, it does suck that people are getting issues with this. But, patches tend to do that here and there.
