The women have the right to voice their concerns but they do NOT have the right to make the decision for everyone else on what they are allowed to buy!

They clearly have not played the game and made up a bunch of rubbish to get the game removed from the shelves and these 2 videos say everything true to the situation.

PETITION: https://www.change.o...-5-in-australia

"grooming boys" What tripe, i know plenty females who play this game and agree "boys being groomed" well that is something i strongly agree with totalbiscuit with that it is an 18/M rated game and parents should not be buying this for their kids, male or female!

WARNING NSFW, LOTS OF SWEARING.

It is true what is said across these videos, where does it stop if this kind of crap is allowed to continue?

They clearly are self indulged maniacs who really only care about having their little bit of "yay we are power" and do not care what it does to the rest of us who are affected by this stupid actions they are taking.

So please sign the petition so that they do not continue with this rubbish any longer and think they can do it to more games.

Too long have us gamers been the excuse for bad society when the real bad society are these kind of women who are taking away the freedom of choice for everyone else. We do not want this to have a domino effect or it will end up bad for us gamers.

This is just going to end in a petition war isn't it?

As long as the right petition wins in the end.

As much as I agree with GTV not being removed there is something I should point out:

Those women did not decide anything for other people, they merely complained. Target and K-Mart are the organizations that decided to pull those products.

That is the way that the free market works. If they want to pull a product for whatever reason then they are free to do that. If people disagree with how those companies do business, they can spend their money elsewhere.

Well they asked for the game to be removed from the store, now this is the domino effect i and ALPHAOMEGASIN speak about, imagine everyone else does the same and removed the game completely so it can not be sold anywhere, other stores have been removing it also since this petition so if all stores done the same then they have prevented us from buying the game thus taking our choice to buy the game away completely. Total Biscuits video speaks about that point in good detail.

They can do this in better ways by instead making people aware of what is in the game but right out asking stores to stop selling it is taking the decision to be able to buy it away from us and is not good for anyone. But before they go and make people aware about the content they need to really look at it again because what they wrote in their petition is not true representation on what they based their argument on.

Australia has been giving GTA hell for years now. Really, I'm surprised they didn't just ban the game outright.

There is no need to post this in OT. politics and petitions are not allowed on the Forums.

I'm not saying don't fight back against it, but rather that it's ridiculous to claim that these women had "no right" to do this.

They had every right to complain about it just as Target and the others had every right to pull the product.

Just as gamers have every right to criticize and petition to fight back against it.
