It's making the dragon fights impossible...

- I set their AI to reserve 50% mana and when I select the mages they have 10%

- I tell them to hold position and the next second they are running around trying to melee the damn dragon

- I tell vivienne to use the ressurrection spell and she just keeps auto-attacking

Welcome, and enjoy your stay!

Ferelden Frostback.

Wing Flapping.

Solas Fade Step out, drink 4 potions.

As he runs back in, he runs through fire.

He, and Varric, stays in melee for tail wipe to hit.

As they run, they run through fire again

Both chugs 2 potions each.

I am out of potions.

After that moment I never let anybody but the tank drink potions on AI any more... damn idiots >.>

I also never let the AI use anything but a couple of abilities on dragons. I'll manually do that ****. Can't trust 'em!

Setting stamina at a certain amount doesn't mean that the AI will reserve that amount. It just means that abilities will not be used when you go under that amount. If for example you have 50% mana and an ability is used that removes the other 40% - given the cost - then you will remain with 10%.

When you set a position then let the AI attack by itself (choosing the target by itself via the behavior routine), DON'T make an attack move yourself as that will override the move order you did set before. It is annoying, I know, but that's how it is. Both move and attack are actions so they override each other. Using a skill or a potion, instead, are considered instructions and can be executed along an action (on the same target or another one).

Use tac cam, first set an attack order then select the character you want to resurrect and use revive. In this way it will work. If you are on normal camera it doesn't work and I think it's a bug, in fact.
