A poorly lit picture that hides a few features but better than nothing. This is Circe and I'm quite happy with her.

The first Qunari I made looked really creepy in the cutscenes but I'm pretty happy with this one:

I like how they drew females in this game. You have freckles, scars, acne, blemishes. I was worried the female qunari would be like the female half-orcs in NWN. The Qunari in general remind me of Klingons.

*sighs* Every time I see freckles they always look awesome especially on qunari ladies and I always feel sadden by having a horrible lack of them in my copy.

My Qunari Lady always looks like she is planning the gruesome murder of anyone she is talking too.

What did everyone call their Qunari's? Did you go for a Qun language inspired name or original?

Well, it's not a secret, that create pretty female Qunari is rly hard. But it IS possible
I actually find most if not all of them very good looking, more so than the human female character versions.

I'm quite happy with mine, though I wish I hadn't given her red hair, since her eyebrows also became red and the hair is hardly visible anyways.
I tried to make her handsome and stoic - beautiful but intimidating - and I think I managed alright.

Well, I did very pretty human females
Or elven
Just the Qunari was hard to make
I always created one and after 2nd cutscene I had to start over cuz I couldnt imagine me watching that face the next at least 50 hours
The Qunari playthrough was not my favorite anyway ![]()

Mine is Acantha, although she doesn't live up to the name meaning of "thorny" at all, haha.

Tried and struggled, rerolled 3 times... got a result I was ok with, not even glad, just.. ok.
Then it turned out the facepaint never comes off. So I made this:
[...]
Pfft, part of my Sarissa* Adaar's charm to me, really (baldness included; seeing it first hand in-game I very much understand why people find their hair-selection sub-par):
(encapsulates well my thoughts on the musical act directly prior to the shot)
Which I found more appealing than this one you get right at the start of the game:
Third paint I stuck to was this, which I did use for quite a while, at that:
And, as of now, this green-and-white design kinda started growing on me:
So, since up until now we do not get to have access to a Black Emporium 2.0 I very much appreciate the way the vitaar allows one to customize one's qunari PC in the course of the game. Two wishes I'd have would be:
1) being able to actually craft the things, get to pick certain designs and attributes as desired
2) beyond vitaar, access to further qunari-specific headgear; I would_love_getting my hands on some mask in lieu of the DA2-ones, not to mention the sick thing Hissrad gets in his companion-quest
*PS:

'Sarissa' as in the pokey polearm that won the Makedonian Argead dynasty not just dominion over Hellas, but briefly over the span of the Achaemenid realm - yes, given that I am miffed my scary dragon lady can't grab a good, trusty spear at least. Goes without saying that a weapon's name does go well in hand with the qunari PC's surname. I like its sound, too.

Posted her in a thread on 4chan and people seemed to like her there so I'll post her here too.
She's gorgeous. I think she might be my favorite lady qunari to date. Who does she look like? Angelina Jolie?

Went lazyish with my name and went to behind the name and picked something out of Greek Mythology section. Made me wish I had made Circe a mage now instead of rogue but whats done is done. I think any more Lady Qunari I make will have greek and roman mythology names.

Dumb question - I'm about to start a Fem Qunari playthrough - do you not have to pick horns? What is the lore behind that, some of them don't grow horns like Sten? Also that crazy face paint, the stripes, is that gear that you pick up?

Yes some Qunari don't have horns. (Technically their horns are so small that they never become pronounced and noticeable.) Hornless Qunari are far less common so it is often believed that Qunari without horns are destined for greatness. Also the Ben-Hassrath tends to recruit a lot of hornless qunari. I imagine this is mainly because they tend to blend in a bit better then those with horns. Regardless, as a result most Qunari consider another qunari without horns to be more intimidating, probably in part because they are more likely to be Ben-Hassrath.
As for the face paint you mentioned, it's called Vitaar. It is a special form of facepaint made from poisons which confer a somewhat magical benefit to the Qunari. Similar to an enchantment you apply directly to the skin. Because of its toxic nature only Qunari can use it effectively; their physiology makes them immune to the poison. In game it is treated simply like any other helm gear only Qunari can wear, and is worn on your head slot.

Sarissa is a very cool name and it meshes very nicely with Adaar, but it, uh, wasn't responsible for the conquests of Philip and Alexander. I mean, most of their soldiers used it, and it did offer certain tactical advantages over other spears, but if we're listing "advantages that the Makedonian military possessed over its opponents" the sarissa would be pretty low on the list.

I was going to post some pics of Kyira, my favorite Lady Adaar, but she just looks so good I can't decide what to pick, so I just made a whole photo album of cool screenshots that I've collected so far. No doubt I'll be putting more there once I finish my current playthrough.

She looks down on people a lot. I mean that in the literal sense. She's actually a very nice person, it's just she's so tall.
I'm debating making a separate album of just her trying to talk with people so much shorter then her, which is just about everyone. Maybe I'll call it "damn right she's tall".
