Seems to still snap to characters in Tactical Cam. Unless you don't move the "Tactical Camera cursor" and stay on your selected character but that's how its always been.

I think the bulk of the tac cam changes (and probably also fixes on normal cam) will be on next patch.

Probably Bioware focused more on performance issues and the like this time around and control inputs will be addressed more specifically on next patches (I hope on next one, sincerely, because if tac cam worked as it should - giving an option to play the combat as a full click to move/attack control scheme, similar to DA:O - then the game would be fantastic).

What exactly did this do "Target lock is cleared when entering tactical mode."

You can lock on a target using a controller. That's cleared when entering tac cam now (before it probably wasn't; I don't know because I never played with a controller).

Yep. Still broken.

I wouldn't mind it so much if it happened reliably, but sometimes the camera doesn't do it, and I can't figure out why.

The times it doesnt do it is when you have any of your characters selected by pressing the key twice. For example if you hit F1 twice it will lock to your character then you can press f2 and move your other character without the camera snapping to them. However when you move ur TACTICAL CURSOR [Not window's cursor] then press f2 it will snap back to the character.

Console player here, and I personally hate it. I remember watching a stream prior to launch and them talking about how the snap-to was a camera OPTION. An option, not a bug not some other nonsense but a damn option. And I really, really hope that option crops up in patch 3.driving the cam is kinda a pain in the ass as is, only really becomes it fails to ignore terrain issues but can't jump...that's fun. Anyway, having it force reset that is just aggravating.

Indeed it needs to be fixed so it doesnt snap to the party member.......or at least be an option (which i will always turn off).

Much better to have it simply in a way that if you double click on the portrait (or press the relevant key two times) then it snaps to the character and if you single click it just selects without snapping (that it's as it is usually done with bird view camera). No need for a toggle.

When you play with a controller you switch characters with the d-pad (up and down), so a no-snap toggle would still be preferable IMO. If you want to snap back you can quickly scroll the mouse wheel back in on KB&M anyway.

The new patch is great but the one thing that bugs me the most that still isn't fixed is the auto center when you switch characters after you move the camera position in tactical camera. I want to start a new campaign on a harder difficulty with friendly fire on but that will require great use of tactical camera. I would like to be able to find a vantage point to watch the battle and be able to give orders and then if I need to double click on a portrait to auto center. If you could please fix this problem as soon as possible it would be much appreciated. I thought it would be addressed in the recent patch as I read you guys were aware of the problem but as it was not I am asking here now.
