I have posted this on the ea answers website but no acknowledgment so far, so I ask if anyone of you is experiencing this same problem and if there is already a solution. thanks

 

 

I am getting this error while launching the game just after it patched.

 

Invalid license. Reason code = Invalid Cipher (0x0006)

 

please advice

Update:

 

I have investigated a bit further and find out could be related to the vc redistribuitables.

 

I went into the game folders "Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\__Installer\vc" and run all the repair exe.

 

the vc2008sp1 seems to have become corrupted, can you provide a link to download working one?

 

Update: 

 

I have run all vc redistributables but now the error I get is:

 

"We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate Dragon Age Inquisition on this computer using you account. Please try again later."

restarted computer to fix it, amazed how this old good panacea still works. lol

Well done. I couldn't stand stuttering cut scenes and when you finally release the patch the game won't even launch. Well done Bioware. hahhahahhaa

there is a huge FLOOD of this same problem right now, and yes after a reboot

Old problem that was "fixed" and is resurfacing now after the patch broken something about the game's license check up on start by Origin.

 

 

This is what happens when people rush patches. BioWare, roll back the patch and do it right, not just fast.
