No more crashing during cut scenes, but best of all, overall performance is very noticeable.  The storm coast area with weather effects went from 25-30 fps up to 50's!  I love it.  Hinterlands are much better too.

Not sure if it was the patch itself or the C+ visual download at the end, but the game is a lot smoother now.

Edit:  I take back the crashing part; still getting crashing during certain cut scenes.  Damn.... this is f*cking annoying.

Well done.

Maybe you haven't noticed that the game runs on low settings now no matter what you select in your ingame options

A potato is powerful enough to run GlaDOS.  Stop underestimating potatoes!

I'm running the game on lowish settings so I'm glad to hear that but those who have more powerful rigs probably aren't happy.

I was running this game with a mix of low/medium/high settings and I could tell straight away how crappy it looked after the patch so I can only imagine those who play with everything on ultra.

And I actually don't notice any performance increase to be honest. If anything it feels worse?  How can you tell how many fps your game is running? I genuinely don't know lol

I have no cutscene crashes now it seems.

I had two conversations with Cassandra and a judgement in the Hall. There was only a slight sound scratching in a quater of a second when Josephine was talking, but it didn't crash.
I can also confirm an overall better performance.

(Intel i5 (3.10 Ghz),  8 GB RAM, GForce GTX 660 (4 GB, driver 344.75), Creative SB X-Fi)

I run *High' graphics setting. Not 'Ultra'.

I use the default medium setting with meshes set to high because my system is 4 years old. Not liking the changes they made.

You can use FRAPS or Gamebooster (which is now called Razer Cortex I think) and it shows on your screen. I noticed a performance increase but the only high setting I had was mesh quality to get rid of lego-hair. Now it's all lego hair.

Also my character's scars are gone I noticed...and I STILL have to go back and re-do stuff because they fixed the voice-switch but didn't retro-fix it.

Meh, two steps forward three steps back I guess. I'm sure they'll fix it all soon enough. For all the flack they get in these forums Bioware really does care about its gamers and Inquisition is a great game.

You can set the game to show your FPS using the dev console.

Bring it up with the ` key, then type
PerfOverlay DrawFps 1
