I just want to add my game was running fine until this patch. Now it's completely unplayable. 

Game freezes every 10-20 seconds for a period of 3 seconds or more. Absolutely ridiculous. Is this what AAA titles are about these days? Every major release I've bought this year has been a mess of fuckups and just horrible Q&A (I'm looking at you Assassin's Creed Unity)

I love games and I love Bioware games (even after the ME3 ending. Yes I am one of those people) but what the hell....it's 2014 the quality of our games should improve not degrade.

Have you tried the temporary fix from bioware?

 

I was having serious issues and was unplayable, even corrupted all 280 hours of saved games(my fault for not backing them up) but the temp fix worked for me, its now playable again.

Agreed, there are already players trying to reinstall the game (what are you guys - guys who are reinstalling the game - thinking btw?! Origin will just update it to the latest version when you install)

auto updates can be disabled, which I think should always be done on any software, newer does not always mean better.

 

I am so glad I had mine off after reading the feedback.

 

So disable auto updates.

reinstall game

take origin offline (otherwise it wont let you play without patching)

play

 

But hope the game doesnt now download pre patched.
