It looks like this requires you to have bought specific Logitech gaming gear :c I own a butt-tonne of Logitech peripherals, but no gaming gear from their 'Newegg' line, so I'm missing out.

This does answer my question on the final locked mount slot with the other promos though.

Blegh - I'm not fond of these "buy to earn in game swag" type promos :\ What happened to the awesome freebies like Mass Effect 3 had for example?

Did anyone go through with this? Comparing to the AMD promotion this one seems to be made as inconvenient as possible.

I don't even use the mounts at all, except for the races at the Farm.

It does figure they'd put the coolest looking promotion mount behind the most obnoxious process. The register system for the site sucks terribly and you basically had to have pre-spent $40 or more to get this w/o spending that much to claim it now -_-

They can add DLC but they can't add DA:I to Logitech Gaming Software?!?!?!?! Am I missing something here?

Yeah, not even the DAII cross-promotion DLCs like "Ring of Whispers" were that expensive. The sad part is that it also doesn't seem to work as Etragorn posted in another thread:

I signed up on the site, bought the hardware at Newegg, attached an image of the recept like they asked and they said they'd get my code to me in 2 business days. 3 business days and 2 non-business days laters, I have nothing! I even put a support ticket in on the 3rd business day and that didn't help at all.

For anyone thinking of buying Logitech hardware to get the DA:I DLC attached to it, hold off, because something is wrong with redeeming it.

Pretty soon we'll be getting DLC that has us traveling to the Mountain of Dew on the backs of our Fjord Mustangs to explore the ruins of The White Castle to locate seven ancient artifacts known as the Core Eyes, which we need to use to defeat King Birger before he has it his way and conquers Thedas.

...

I'd play that.

:o No Dairy Queen, don't go pick up that combo meal, it's a trap and he'll have your plastic top off before you know it!

All absurdity aside, I redeemed a code for this mount today due to the generosity of a fellow gamer - the process is kind of dumb still. You need to make an account, which unless you put your phone number, takes 24 hours minimum to activate and often needs their help desk to step in and THEN paste information and attach your receipt and then wait another 1-2 days minimum for your code.

Why so drawn out? Dammit Bioware/EA, these are NOT the type of redemptions people like :\

"Account will be on hold for 24 hours for validation"

Well screw you. Just because I'm not giving you my mobile phone number I'll have to wait 24h just to see if my Logitech gear (G502 mouse) that I bought over here in Germany (so obviously not from Newegg) a good while back is eligible for the promotion or not.

They can bet their leatherly backsides that regardless of whether I can get that DLC or not, I will delete my account and make sure they get my adress out of their databases as soon as possible.

These BS promotions have to stop! Seriously.

I finally got my DLC code. It took a full calendar week, and it only came after I filed a support ticket, the original e-mail with my code never arrived.

Apparently the promotion is somehow linked between Logitech and AMD because the support ticket came from a support e-mail address @ AMD4U.com

Burger King's already, ummm, in bed with Tim Horton.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.

People, why's all the fuss with Burger King?

Don't you remember Dr.Pepper promotion for Mass Effect 2? :)

As for me, I don't have a chance to participate, as NewEgg doesn't ship their goods to my country.

Good I'm playing as fighter.

If I played as a mage (especially lightning spec) I would've cried out loud as this mount is just perfect for a magic-wielder.

Except for Necromancer maybe, who looks just fine riding Bog Unicorn. :)

Promotions tied to items that cost more than a few bucks is a nasty thing to do to people. It hurts the soul of completionists, and from what I can tell, they make up a large number of Dragon Age players (myself being one of them)

I'm pretty sure I already had this "Logitech" DLC right from the start. It's actually called "Logitech G402" and is a gaming mouse which software allows me to map mouse buttons, like in any modern game.

These type of promos do more to turn me from gaming than towards it.
