It's got to be the Tevinter area right? So much is going on there. We've got 2 ex-companions there (Fenris and Dorian), and also perhaps Sten up near Par Vollen.

I feel we've explored Southern Thedas enough, especially with the angle on the Andrastian faith which dominates culture down in the South - it's been done to death and we've got every possible view on the subject so I think a change in religion to the black Chantry and maybe secret Old Dragon cults would be really cool. Tevinter culture is also so different so the angle on slavery and magic being in control would be a really good contrast to what we've had so far.

There's also the ever developing war with the Qunari which would be interesting to explore - we definitely need more Qunari in the game as they were the strongest and most interesting part of DA2 in my opinion.

Finally, Tevinter is right next door to the (ruins of) Arlathan. Given how the story is shaping up and the metric tons of revelations and lore dumps about Elven culture and religion, as well as the Flemeth and Solas revelations, we can safely say the Elven gods are going to be a big part of the series overarching story. Setting the game in Tevinter with the ability to explore the ruins of an old Elven empire would be amazing.

I'd prefer Tevinter, yeah.

Arlathan, Anderfels, Seheron, Nevarra, all around it.

If we go to Tevinter, I hope we get to dismantle the current establishment rather than help them without being able to stop all the terrible things they do.

Anderfel, or Tevinter seem most likely to me.

I think we'll actually learn that the establishment isn't as bad as it seems. I mean Dorian says it's salvageable, and not all the Magisters are like the Venatori, Fenris' master and the slave drivers in Origins. Felix was a perfectly good Tevinter mage. I think if we go there, we'll learn a lot of what has been said and written about Tevinter is propaganda. The entire country can't be full of bastards, but the political elite will be awful (just like they were in Orlais).

They have slavery and do blood sacrifices. These are facts. I will not support something that supports these.

As for not being as bad as we've experienced so far. We have the word of one of their more upper class who never even thought about it until after he left Tevinter compared to literally every other person from Tevinter we've met, both good and bad.

and the main people they've been fighting and keeping distracted for the last few years are a bunch of mind-erasing half-dragon people that want global religious communism. They have a purpose.

Tevinter has been doing those things long before the Qunari ever showed up.

That said I hope we don't have to support the Qun either or that the only way to not support Tevinter is to support them.

Yep and for Tevinter, southern Thedas is a land in which mages are enslaved under the iron fist of a religious order of holy knights. You can spin anything into propaganda if you want mate.

You forgot the important bit of "a constant source of new labor" that Tevinter sees the other nations as.

And as I said, the sheer number of people from Tevinter we meet who either match what is said about Tevinter or have testimoniess about what is said about Tevinter being accurate is enough to prove it is not simply propaganda.

I can see Navaria showing up in a DA:I expansion if they're wiling to go that route.

I think many people would agree Tevinter seems to be the area most people want to see next in DA4. It would be their best chance to re-intoduce blood magic and go for a rather evil character that was more or less missed in DA:I  I hope they add in Seheron and Par'vollen given the qunari conflict. I can see Anderfels being an expansion in that game.

DA 5 should be Antiva and Rivani and a revisit to the free marches as it's expansion.

I hope that the next game is warden-centric and deals with the lack of communication from Weisshaupt in the Anderfels.

I don't think Bioware is going to avoid depicting Tevinter as a craphole.

But they may show that its a craphole, not a hellhole. That whatever super dark history it once had, is but faded by this point and simply worn down (save for the upper class) holding off the Qun.

I'm hoping for Tevinter.

And the ability to use blood magic, be recognized as a blood mage, and be an ACTUAL 'evil' person. I want to be able to support Tevinter and everything about it and not be forced to disagree with it because BioWare wants me to be a goody-two-shoes.

Seheron and Par Vollen would be nice locations as well, but a game/DLC centering on Par Vollen (rather than it being a side/secondary location) would be preferred. It has so much potential.

Weisshaupt and the surrounding Anderfels in Inquisition DLC, then Tevinter for sure in DA4. If the game has a heavy Qunari focus, then expect Rivain and Seheron; if not, I'd bet on Antiva.

Tevinter and Antiva make nice halves of a War Table, actually.

I am thinking either Kal Sharok, a unknown thaig or though to be lost dwarven city, or Navarra given that the king is very old with no direct heir in a very large royal house. Alternatively Antiva would be interesting.

Call me crazy but I want to see more of the Fade now, the way they rendered/designed it in Inquisition, wow. I remember using a mod in Origins for my second playthrough to remove the Fade portion because it was just too tiresome. This time I can't wait to get there in my second Inquisition playthrough. I'd like to see some crazy Fade map that constantly changes in certain areas (not the whole thing, that would just be a mess to navigate).

If not, I'd go with Antiva, Minrathous or a detailed Kirkwall (that's right, I'd like to see Kirkwall again, I'd assume it'd actually be a really nice city modeled and detailed with this new engine).

The Black City.

Arlathan.

Or Tevinter is fine, I guess :P

I'm not personally interested in the Qun, so I'd rather that not be a focus.
