Sorry, if it is a stupid question, but I found no answer: we are supposed to unlocking the 9 additional classes by crafting their armor. I have planty of raw materials, but I found no option to craft such armors. Do I have to find the schematics first?

If all you're seeing is Legionnaire armor, there are little arrows near the class name that switches to the armor crafting options for the other classes. Don't know if that's where you're getting hung up, but you wouldn't be the first person to not notice the little arrows.
