My dwarf had a hankering for some good old fashioned Nuggets so she killed some Nugs outside Haven.
Leliana disapproved.

Welcome
Tempest archers are kind of addicting to play, once you get the timing down with flask usage. Honestly, today I watched Cole slice and dice zombies up on Pont Agur, and it's really got me wanting to try out a DW rogue... So I'm think elf rogue next game. Still undecided about the romance. Will see once I get into the CC.
I love the Chateau D'Onterre; such atmospheric creepiness. The beautiful sunny day outside, birds chirping etc, only adds to it.
As for Zaeed, yeah, now that you mention it, I'm surprised he didn't fight his way off the ship.
@Gervais. That would be unsettling for sure. I think I've had Viv ask if I was alright, darling, but never more than that. I think I'd be doing aand backing away slowly, heh.
So far I've done KE (several times), Templar switching between 2h and Shield and an archer with I don't even remember what. So far DW Tempest has been the most fun ![]()
Who haven't you romanced yet? If you haven't romanced Solas and are playing an elf anyway, he might be a good choice. Or not. I really don't know, I've yet to romance him *blames the ladies - and the magic mustache man - for being more appealing to me*
And yes, Chateau D'Onterre is one of my favourite locations. Reminds me a bit of the Ardat-Yakshi Monastary. Though...not quite as creepy. Those distant banshee sounds... *shudders* Helps that that was my first encounter with banshees, I think. I keep meaning to bring Cole, though. Bet he'd have something interesting to say.

DA: Inquisition just came through the mail today. I wonder how this DA: Keep works since I haven't played the previous games...
Welcome!
You don't need to have played the other games to use the Keep, as it doesn't import anyway. If you don't mind much, you could play with the default world state first (as in, not even use the Keep). If you've seen enough of the other games (which characters you like, for instance), you might want to go through and change a few Keep tiles, though. Same for major plot choices. Going through the Keep may give you an idea of the state of things even if you don't know much of the DA universe, too. There should be a tutorial there once you sign up/log in, but I can link you to a few things if you'd like.
Also, wiki is your friend ![]()

Let's see... Haven't romanced Solas, Cullen, Dorian, Bull, or Josie.. So lots of options. Kinda thinking about Dorian; I like his storyline, romanced or not, but as you say, since I have to play an elf for Solas... Hmmm.

Good thought about Cole and the Chateau. Something to look forward to once I hit the Emerald Graves. Hopefully will wrap up the Plains tonight; just have the elves to do, and then I was actually thinking about going to the ball.

LOL nah not really. I guess I'm the stranger. Been staying away from the ME forums cuz I'm not ready to get sucked back into Shep's life just yet, and I'm avoiding temptation. Customization is pretty good actually, lots of good armor and weapon crafting options, and the upcoming patch is rumored to have an in-game CC in case you're not happy with how your character initially turned out.Am I really a stranger? I quite like Dorian, too. I've yet to romance him myself (I'll get around to it eventually, I'm sure) but if his friendship is anything to go by, his romance will likely be one of my favourites. If you're going to play through all the romances, you'll need an elf or human for Cullen, too.
Looking forward to hearing about Cole in the creepy mansion ![]()
The ball will likely be a welcome change to the Plains. That place just seems to take forever, doesn't it? Going from horrible undead to Orlesian politics, though...Would Dofni even notice the difference? ![]()

The CC is amazing
Aside from the CC being perhaps the best I've seen, the crafting system is pretty great too. The next patch should make it even better. It's more expansive than ME by a long shot, though not as in-depth as, say, Skyrim's smithing/alchemy/enchanting system. But you can stick your companions in hideous glorious yellow plaid! ![]()

Damn. I'm outta likes again. One reserved for this. I would love for Dofni to sit in a quiet corner with Blackwall all evening, comparing snobby imperial soldirrs on the Plains with snobby courtiers at the Palace. Hehe, I'll have to headcanon it, I guess. That idea actually makes the Plains not so horribleI quite like Dorian, too. I had thought about an elf mage for Cullen, with a female mage HoF in the world-state, just for the symmetry, but I could go with human for that just as easily. I'm really warming to the idea of an elf rogue, and since I do want to do the Dorian romance at some point.... We'll see. Dofni's getting ready to kick me in the shins here, saying, "hey, you better finish up with me first, pal!"

Hahaha that's absolutely how Blackwall would like to attend. And glad something makes the Plains just a bit more bearable ![]()
Aside from that one War Table banter (which is hella awkward with a US Warden...) where Cullen asks Leliana about a romanced mage and that poor messanger asking her again on the Commander's behalf, do you know if his thing for mages he shouldn't fall in love with comes up during the romance?
But yes, I think we established with Coryfish that Dofni kicking people would be bad, best not forget her ![]()

I now have all my recruitment quests, but because Blackwall is my permanent DA:I sweetie, I'm off to recruit him first. I stopped by the Crossroads on the way because someone mentioned there's actually a guy named Giles who shows up after you get the Blackwall recruitment quest and that you can ask him questions about Blackwall. I ended up him asking him about the "Warden" and found out that he was, well, actually heroic and single-handedly saved a bunch of villagers from demons. Say what you will about his past, but he certainly did kick some demon butt according to Giles.
