Is it weird that I want to be able to kill off the Inquisitor (whether in DLC or DA4)?  This worldstate has a dead Warden and dead Hawke.  I thought it would be interesting to have all the "heroes" of Dragon Age die horribly.

No. Its not weird.

I would like to kill all the companions like I was able to have all squadmates killed in ME. Oh well. Maybe in DA4

Completed the main story last night, so now it's all about hitting everything I missed in the post-game. There's plenty left over, and what was once a very intimidating mountain of side missions and fetch quests has become a leisurely little way to kill time. It no longer feels like an immense shopping list of things I NEED to do before finishing off Corypheus, and I can just proceed to complete the game at my own pace. Luckily, it's spring break! Plenty of free time to spend with my Inquisitor.

The first thing to attend to: killing the rest of those pesky dragons. The only one I vanquished while still playing the story was the Fereldan Frostback in the Hinterlands, so the next one on the list was Northern Hunter in Crestwood. Hardly broke a sweat considering I was at level 19, but Sera seemed very proud of herself. Great big heroes, the lot of us... yeah? Iron Bull approved as always.

Thought I would take the hunting party north to vanquish the cave wyvern, only to find the cave completely empty. Apparently this is a bug, and not the first I encountered today. Boo.

So it was time for dragon three, the Abyssal High Dragon in the Western Approach. I still needed to run a number of errands for Frederic to lure this big baddie, and in the process got sidetracked with the darkspawn (and GIANT!) infested Tevinter ruin. I had some fun clearing that out, and Iron Bull was very excited... not one, but TWO giants! Not to mention that dragon an hour ago. A good day to be Tal-Vashoth, apparently.

This all ended in tracking down Servis at his Venatori camp, and sparing his life in order to judge him on the throne. And yet, due to a bug... he has yet to show up in Skyhold. Let's just pretend his escort decided to take the scenic route home, yes?

Tomorrow, that Abyssal High Dragon will get what's coming to it!

Holy sh*t! Vivienne has outwitted me! I dressed her completely in plaidweave for a visit to future Redcliffe. But what was she wearing in all her cutscenes? Royale sea silk! I call blood magic on those shenanigans!

I wanted everyone in full plaidweave, but sadly it seems there is no tinting in Haven. And looting it was proving tedious: raider longbow... 7 gold... scout hat... raider longsword... 6 gold... There definitely need to be more crafting material drops! It's taking the Inquisition quite a while to gather things, not helped by the fact that Cullen takes an hour to accumulate a measly 90 gold (were you robbing a goat??) . Meanwhile Leliana's scouts gather five elfroot in the same time. In an hour, Trev could cover all of Ferelden in an elfroot blanket! Jeez, there's no decent staff these days.

The music is so melancholy in future Redcliffe. It really underscores how much has been lost. Trev is really starting to feel the weight of this Fade mark now. He didn't take it that seriously before, but seeing the future versions of Cassandra and Vivienne...   He was actually serious for once when he spoke to Cass. It just didn't seem appropriate to be flippant. If this is what happens if he fails, then it's pretty bloody clear that the Inquisition can't fail!

Even though they're stuck in hell, Viv is very... Vivienne-y. I don't think Trev could be that snarky after one year of red lyrium. She thought he was a trick at first. Rather rude about it too!

I wanted to make Cass smack through a wall, but she decided to perfect her phasing ability instead. Must be a lyrium thing.

Spoiler

Meanwhile Dorian is distractingly pretty. Seriously fella, you're making Trev look bad. Maybe you will have to wear the plaidweave instead. He isn't able to resist it's power like Viv is!

After discovering what the Venatori did to Leliana, Trev was lucky not to lose his lunch. His desire to be merciful to Alexius is decreasing by the second. By the time it came to recruiting the mages, Trev's goodwill had vanished. Watching Leliana, Viv and Cass sacrifice themselves will do that to a person. He told Queen Anora he'd get the rebel mages out of her hair and the Inquisition tromped back up to Skyhold.

Vivienne is being very friendly at the moment. Trev might try to flirt with her later, but it may cause spontaneous combustion for him. Dorian was passive-aggressive, and Solas disapproved again. That was because Trev said that future Redcliffe was not amazing, but terrifying. Seriously Solas, you wouldn't have liked it. Not an ideal holiday destination. Now you get to be the plaidweave king.

Spoiler

Sexy.

Trev's attempts to flirt with Cassandra are so flamin' goofy. I love it.  I think she does too!

I've updated some shizz on the Keep. All Adaar's choices are there, just had to select them. Lavellan 1 had all correct choices except two. Lavellan 2 had a handful of choices available (mostly related to minor quests). Cadash's name doesn't even appear, never mind her choices, so I might boot her up tomorrow and see if it uploads. I have all their decisions recorded, so no rush. Though if they decide to unhide all the tiles - problemo solved!

Playing male Inky encouraged me to try maleShep this time on ME, so I'm trying new romances and experiences all over the place! Reliving some wonders of ME1: the upside-down Mako, awkward elevator/lift conversations ("So, Tali, I hear you're a cyborg under that suit?"), weapons overheating, "GO GO GO! ENEMIES EVERYWHERE! I WILL DESTROY YOU!", hilarious renegade snark, chirping geth, "Shepard" "Wrex". And hanar!  ^_^

It's gonna get spoilery here so I suggest scrolling down a little faster.

I've finally finished What Pride Had Wrought. My Inquisitor didn't drink of the Well, and once I was done I saved the game and started the next quext just to have a peek at what comes next.

After a good bit of talk, my character told Flemeth "This was no accident", to which she responded with " Clever girl".

Pfft... ha ha ha ha!

That just made my day.

Just a general question for everyone: Where can I find a Felandaris flower outside of Emprise du Lion? I noticed I still have that silly quest from the Hinterlands in my journal, and I'd like to wrap that up so I can finish off the Hinterlands in one swoop, now that I've finally gotten Varric's quest to return to Valammar.

Not sure....I know I got some from a loot bag/chest/dead guy somewhere since I've done that quest but haven't made it to Emprise yet. Leliana keeps saying it's available as a resource but her scouts never bring any back. <_<

Tsk, don't they know the saying about 'all work and no play'?

Not to mention, quizzy has to sleep somewhere. Why not the barn?  :D

Yeah, that Cabot. he's such a troll. I want Flissa back behind the bar... err, well, you know what i mean  I'll just be leaving now....

 Oh I hope I get lines like this. Blackwall is already gone from the group, so I won't be able to take him on any questing until I go to Val Royeaux first.

I never got Sera's comment on the hay roll, even though I brought her with me a lot just for that reason.

After many failed attempts at fixing it, I ended up fighting Envy with the stick figure glitch, and beat it surprisingly in less than 5 minutes! It was still annoying and I'm disappointed a near game breaker glitch for some is still active after so many patches.

Urgh, I hate that glitch. Fighting the envy demon was the first time it happened to me. I had to save/reload/redo the fight a couple of times before it stopped. It's happened a couple other times now too, but usually a save/reload straightens it out. Still annoying though!

Meanwhile Dorian is distractingly pretty. Seriously fella, you're making Trev look bad. Maybe you will have to wear the plaidweave instead. He isn't able to resist it's power like Viv is!

Dorian looks great in pretty much anything. Or in nothing.

Bull looks like a big ol' clown in plaidweave. I love it on everyone. Plaidquisition for all! It'll be glorious!

I've been busy but finally caught up with this thread! Congrats to those of you that finished playthroughs, namely MrGDL - such an angry Inky would be a rough game for me with so few companions and leaving everyone to their own devices :pinched:

Aela is gorgeous, by the way, kalalala :)

Aaand, I'll probably continue my own game tomorrow night. The Keep's not registering most of my choices, so it gives me an excuse to do things again. And again. And again... :P

Ha, just you wait until Sera finds out.

Typical Sera. Sera likes to spread rumors or gossip around. The sad thing is after Sera hangs around Blackwall long enough they sound all chummy and share drunken binge stories and jokes which I find funny as heck.

Rift Mage is a beastly.

Play a Rift mage with Solas and weaken everything in sight. Everything becomes a puppy :P

True that. Once I got that class even for my mage I was KO'ing people and debuffing like crazy. It was a PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN to get but was worth the hours of fustration.

The guide does indeed say that...*side-eyes the guide*

It's possible it's right, but if it is I can't remember an exact location. Suledin Keep is the easiest place to find it in a decent quantity, it'd probably be easier to just go through that than have poor little Dofni stumble over larger-than-life (literally, in her case) roots searching for what may or may not actually be in the Graves

Edit: Perhaps a stupid question, but what the heck is Zangolia? The guide claims it can be found in the Hissing Wastes but I've not explored much of it on foot after getting the materials I needed to have much clue one way or another.

Also, I can't remember if you've said, but if you have some of Josie's perks you can probably buy Felandaris...somewhere. Maybe :P

Yerrrsss. I don't know who reviewed it from BW. Very large pinch of salt needed there. B) :D

Isn't Zangolia in Tibet somewhere? B)

Zangolia is in the Hissing Wastes near some red templars. Apparently nothing is triggered when you pick it  and it is thought to be some kind of left over. Try and see.

I was surprised how enjoyable the angry playthrough turned out to be and it gave me a chance to do things that I wouldn't have done normally.

Tinting the armour different colours will make my next playthrough interesting. So at least now, you don't have to have an orange (I think that it was orange if I remember right ) look for the best gear.

Also BraveVesperia's last pic of Cassandra reminded me of the Terminator (because of the red eyes). I've just started a renegade Shepard as well and some of his replies make you think "did he just say that?!"  :pinched:

Zangolia? ... never heard about this until today.

Not sure....I know I got some from a loot bag/chest/dead guy somewhere since I've done that quest but haven't made it to Emprise yet. Leliana keeps saying it's available as a resource but her scouts never bring any back.

Felandaris found in Emerald Graves and Emprise du Lion. This is according to the guide so if your bum is steered in the wrong direction, twas not me, was them

Maybe

Thanks for the info everyone. I know I've found some somewhere early in the game in the past... well before the Emerald Graves or Emprise du Lion. I spent an hour or so wandering around the Hinterlands looking for some, and found nothing. I thought perhaps the Storm Coast, in that big cave in the SE corner, but I haven't gone there yet to check it out. I unlocked Emprise hoping indeed that I could have Josie or Leliana find me some at the war table, but all they've brought back is Arbor Blessing. <_< ... according to what I've been able to find online, you can get some with the Master Herbalist perk, but I've never invested any of my precious perks in the herbalists.

My favorite scene:

Indeed! This was the scene where I realized Cassandra =
