 Whaaa-?? I never got that scene ...uh, maybe because I went to Crestwood before doing Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts?

Soooo. . . you modded Al? Or what? B)

There is a flagging issue. What you do is download the "DAI Save Game Editor" and choose one of your save files to edit. Under "Boolean Flags" you need to change "Morrigan has a baby" to true (double click it to change it), then replace your old save file (don't use your main one) with the new one you just fixed.

Problem is, even if you state she had a baby in the Keep, it will still claim to be false in the saved game, so yo have to manually fix this unfixed issue. If you change it to true, either Alistair or Loghain will reunite with her and their son, and to trigger it, return to Skyhold after The Western Approach quest with Alistair/Loghain and Hawke and visit the gardens. You must do this before going to Adamant. During that time you can talk to both Hawke with Varric and then Alistair/Loghain in Skyhold before their final quest.

It took some time for it to happen though. I did other side quests and would return to the gardens to update the nusery. Like that mini guessing game thing with Cole, things change at Skyhold when you trigger a companion's cinimatic conversation, fast travel or leave and come back. No one remains in the same place, and after a trip to Crestwood, when I returned, there they were talking quietly together (my fav part is when Loghain tells Morrigan they were all innocent once when she tells him her child will not know of his father to protect his innocence).

I have the editor, but I don't see any options for chaning anything else but face values?

It is a small DOS program with four options. How can you use this to change bolean values?

I'm trying to romance Solas since he's only available to female elves so I thought "might as well."

But then this guy exists:

And the next thing I know I've clicked every flirt option he has. v_v''

Ahh, thanks for the info. I want to check out that save editor and a few mods eventually, but not until my next game. Good to know I didn't have to go all the way back and replay all that stuff just for Loghain :P ... I don't believe he survives my next world state.

Glad to help spread the word! :)

I wanted my story to feel complete and for Loghain and Morrigan not meeting, yet he mentions her if you sacrifice Hawke, it felt incomplete, so I found that trick thanks to YouTube. I'll be trying it with Alistair too on my next playthrough.

It's sad how a simple error can cut a very sweet moment that also adds closure to the DR in DAO, and what's even sadder, it was never fixed in a patch, yet so simple to alter.

.
The only chance you have to grab Solas is being an elven female. Just did the first part. For the fun of it. I fancy females, so I'm probably not going to persue it further... *cough*

You know what's really obvious?
I discovered this in every single playthrough: As soon as you have made the first step to complete a romance with no matter whom it is as certain as amen in the church that you will have the cutscene with Josephine and Leliana in Josephines office straight after.

Leliana and Josie are talking when you enter. Leliana withdraws with an almost invisible bow and Josie tells you about 'a delicate matter' regarding Lady Corbin. The scene is supposed to end up with you offering Josie to talk with her about her troubles. If you agree the balcony scene follows.

It is soooooo obvious that Bioware pushes Josephine forward as the canon romance of the game, he he...

After losing about 2 hours of gameplay due to my own stupditiy (reinstalled windows and everything, but thought I had already saved my Bioware folder again.. turns out I didn't :P) , I decided I'm going to redo the character.

There were some minor issues I could try to get rid off... or I might just make him look totally different. We'll see :P

Or I might even get DA2 for the lulz. I see it's only €5

The Highland Ravager is a dragon's dragon and one mean b***h! One of the best, and toughest dragon fights I've had in nearly three PTs, and totally made up for the ease with which Hivernal was dispatched. I didn't realize, until i was into the fight, that Ravvy outleveled Dofni by one, and everyone else by two... and, uhh, also that I totally didn't swap out Viv's fire-staff for the ice one, like I'd planned  And so I give you... *ahem* attempt #1.

.
Now, if you didn't make sure your armor is based on fire resistance I am not sure I can bring up any compassion for your hard fight. It's all about fire resistance vs. Highland Ravager. You could also farm four Superb Belts of Fire Resistance in the Temple of Pride. Just saying...

I figured out how it works in this game. The dragon crafting materials actually tells you what you should basically rely on: Fire resistance, a little more fire resistance, and on top of the cake just a little extra fire resistance.

How is it?
Look at the runes. The elements that has the overall best damage vs. all enemies also have the lowest damage values.
You can craft a +50 Superb Demon-Slaying Rune but only a +25 Superb Fire/Elctricity/Frost/Spirit Rune. How's that?
And now that we know how Bioware's sadism is calculated we also know those last four elements are the best in most cases.

A +50 Superb Demon-Slaying Rune looks reeeeeeeally fancy on your weapon stats once attached. And you reeeeeeeeally kill those demons with a minor shrug of your shoulders. But you have to deal with every other enemy you encounter with the base damage of your weapon.
I never use Corrupting, Cleansing, Dragon- or Demon-Slaying runes anymore. I hate being fooled and take a beat in every other battle

Bioware rule number one: What looks good definetely isn't. "And you can take that to the bank."

I've used fire, cold, electricity and spirit for all our weapons for a while. It does a whole world of a difference in all battles. Yes, you have to fight the demons a little longer. But then again, you also have your Mark of the Rift.

I know, I know. But I wanted to try taking on all three of the Emprise dragons, one after the other, without going back to camp to resupply or rest up. Iron Bull would understand :P ... even if he's always the first to do a face plant

That character creator... seriously. Ugh, let me vent:

To make this haircut work:
1UvFc5.png

I have to give him these ears:
iTcQpr.png
11YNJ2.png

And with those abominations of ears, I don't even get an optimal non clipping result. For that I really have to make the ears grow almost inside the skull
yDjgM6.png
(current clipping, not with the even more reduced alien ears)

Awful. Is it really to much to ask to make the hair flow around the ears like you know... real hair?

For hilarious results btw, pick a haircut and change the face shape. You'll see the facial shape change but the haircut stays in the EXACT SAME PLACE.

How bad is that? C'mon... it was almost 2015 when the game released.

And so Ulekarot began his training and through much grueling effort, took on the ancient and prestigious role of a Reaver. Cassandra warned him about his decision, commenting on her own family's history with it as a cautionary tale. He however, was not human, and stories told to him during his youth about dragons screamed that his choice was one he was destined for. Others came with rather surprising responses:

Spoiler

Some political intrigue in Hilamshiral came next, and he used it well, forcing an alliance between Gaspard, Celene, and Briala while consigning them to the

service of the Inquisition. He didn't know whether he hated a conniving schemer like Gaspard, a self-serving opportunist like Briala, or manipulative harpy like Celene more than either of them. At least under the Inquisition's control, he could guarantee that the three wouldn't drive Orlais into the ground in their feuds. He couldn't wait to eat some real food back at Skyhold; those paltry servings of dishes with ridiculously hard to pronounce names weren't his forte.

Spoiler

Future endeavors would lead him and the Inquisition to Adamant, to stop the Grey Wardens from inadvertently unleashing a demon army for Corypheus. He however, took that moment in stride, savoring the victory he'd just earned.

I'm following the Divine Election guide in the wiki very carefully because I don't want Cassandra to be Divine this time.  My sexy Lavellan is pursuing her romance .  I hope to make softened Leliana Divine with the conscripted mages- a nice compromise for everyone, and one I hope will make Cass happy.  It will just require a lot of manipulation on my part because Leliana lost a lot of "points" from conscripting the mages- http://dragonage.wik...Divine_election

Spoiler

Making Cassandra not divine honestly is pretty easy. Just keep pursuing her sure but stay in contact with Gizzele too. At one point with Cassandra when given the option to choose "What do you want?" or "Do what you want?" I think are the options. Cassandra winds up getting second thoughts and agrees she should do what she wants not do what hierarchy wants.

Been playing a little FC4 myself, and although jumping off cliffs with a wingsuit is probably my favorite thing to do, running things over with an elephant is a close second. Grenading bears is probably third B)

Interesting. Frankly I have touched FC3 when it was new and can see where the popularity is with the franchise. However I am not a die harder and seem to keep missing FC games because I have been playing other games on top of RPG's.

Ouchie. Yeah, I think the Ravager is the toughest dragon. I still haven't made it to Emprise but Olinar's date with her is soon approaching. He let the Sandy Howler continue napping, however. Her little dragon snores were just too cute. [Leliana DAO voice: Softieeeee  ]

Wow, that was fast! Didn't they just meet?

Olinar, level 21 NM.....

Finished up the Hissing Wastes except for finding 2 of the dwarfy notes. Olinar is fairly certain he killed every spider in the universe while there, twice! Finished mosaic # 3. I think I've got a good chance of completing all 5 this game, which would be a first for me.

Next up: back to the Emerald Graves for landmark-hunting and giant-dodging (and also haunted mansion-exploring) or meet up with Leliana in Velance to complete her transformation. Either option sounds .

Well i changed my mind about switching to someone else but get back to Chasimess Winters.

Chasim_16_zpsed55qcmk.jpg

So I hit the marshes and a few other places to level up to level 10 to get ready for the battle in Haven. But...

DAIBadEnd02_zpsqievwxjs.jpg

Got to the trebeshet part which spawns Red Templar knight Demet and found this impossible to do. I had ate all of my potions and had no way of resupplying. However surprisingly I was able to sucker Demet and a few of his red templar thugs to the chantry then stealth right by him and was able to reach the trebechet unopposed and with no enemies around it. I activated and completed the Haven fight

Chasim_26_zpshhyczifb.jpg

First statement I made...

Chasim_34_zpsxcgl0bz0.jpg

"I am in this to obtain great power".

Aaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnddddddddd everyone "GREATLY DISAPPROVED".

Chasim_38_zps6sghbqsg.jpg

Well I suppose people are ignoring Chasimess because of her ego trip on purpose? Lol.

As far as "side games" i did COD: AW a bit today and hit the campaign mode. I completed this high ground roof top battle and escaped Kevin Spacey's HQ. I kind of figured I would have to do that at some point since his character seems to have a new wave military ego trip identity. His character kind of reminds me of something out of ARMY OF TWO (the first game) where he created his own terrorism and his own anti terrorism unit.

Well, as Mushashi7 pointed out, I wasn't too well-prepared for this last one, and further gimped myself by forgetting to swap Vivienne's staff, effectively removing a huge chunk of her damage-dealing capabilities. I could have used the nearby fast-travel thingy and gone back home to stock up on proper gear, but I would've had to listen to Bull and the Chargers sing, "Bravely, bold ser Dofni, rode forth from Skyhold Camp..." All night long, and who wants that? :D .

When it comes time to face down the Sandy Howler, I will be better prepared... With earplugs too ;)

Help - I have a problem!

I need help.

I am put to the test as nowhere else in the game. I gave in and took the team to The Temple Of Mythal for the first time to finish the map and get on with the story.

Yes, yes, I know. I crashed a couple of times, but I think I got the idea. Even without the dialogues.
Actually I'm quite happy I crashed exactly at the point where I had to decide if Morrigan or I should drink of the well.

I just discovered how much Morrigan means to me. It's utterly ridiculous, right? It's something I didn't see coming. It hit me like a hammer.
I can't leave Morrigan to be bound by Flemeth! Not in a million years! Not after her struggle to get out of her claws. I helped her fight Flemeth, the wicked witch! And I had a child with her.

Then this woman turns up after the Winter Palace and wants to help. Ok, fine by me! ("I'm not talking to you before we get home!")

I didn't think that much about it. Not until we were standing there at the edge of the well - and I had to decide weather I should deny her what she wanted the most, or if I should protect her from evil.
Suddenly the old feelings from DOA cames brushing in like a tsunami. You know the drill, right?

CURSE YOU, BIOWARE!

You really know how to play with people's feelings!
It just ain't fair to bring an old love interest into the game like this! Morrigan is so vulnerable. And she doesn't even know it!
Aw, maaan....! I'm completely out of control with this one. Damn!

So, my question to you all is: What do I do. And why?

My insticts tells me to protect Morrigan - again.

But what did you decide?

Please help!Time stands still until I am able to make my decision.

That Morrigan decision is a tough one. I know exactly how you feel, the same happened to me and i think that Morrigan's character in DA:I is one of my favourite parts of the entire game.

She clearly wants to drink from the Well, and she would be the first to tell you not to protect her from the consequences. In fact, she would probably scoff -- like only she can -- at your reasons for denying her.

I just CAN'T betray a woman I have been 'in love with'.

It's just my untouchable deep-rooted conviction. You never betray your love. Never! No matter what. That's something you just aren't allowed. Not even if you left each other slamming the door. Something has to be sacred, right? The last stand.

I can laugh a bit now. But five minutes ago I was really sad. Almost had tears coming up.
Jeez, this game just knocked my feet away. He he...

Bioware can be happy that I live in Denmark....

Yes, I know Morrigan wants to drink. And of course I should let her. But I read the spoilers. And I know.

Maybe this is the test I have to take?
Just like in real life when you have to p*ss people seriously off, until they are able to see the truth behind it all afterwards?

This is the time where you have to make a decision, like a man is supposed to?

- But I learned something important by this: Fictive characters can often be more real than real people.

But that's were you're wrong, Mike. I am the Warden. And I am also the Inquisitor.

Ok, I get your point. Don't take a game that serious. That's the advice I would have given you as well.
And we shouldn't start a debate on how games influence people and all that jazz.

Right now I am more astounded about the impact this made on me. I was completely unprepared for this. I shouldn't be. I'm a grown up man.
But there I was. With Morrigan beside me. And of course the camera zoomed all the way in on her face and eyes.
I noticed her cheek and the soft light. And then the tenderness overwhelmet me.

But I guess this only have an effect on those who romanced Morrigan in DAO. Everyone else has no issue.

Ok, Bioware, you made your point, and got what you hoped for...

CURSE YOU, BIOWARE! :P
