Great screenies! ... I read that post about Flemeth and Morrigan and Solas in your other thread, too, and it made me think that letting Morrigan drink from the well is the right thing to do. That Morrigan had the wrong idea about Flemeth all along, and that the power she gains from the Well, even with its drawbacks will be necessary for the future to come. Events we can't even see yet, like back in DA:O and whether to do the dark ritual with Morrigan. If she's romanced then sure, of course, why not? But if she isn't? Then the DR is a convenient way for the warden to not die, and that's about it. Now we know different, but back then? Ehhh, I dunno, it's a tough choice, either way, and letting her drink from the well is a real leap of faith.
Congrats! ... totally not jealous, not one bit It's looking like Dofni won't be completing any mosaics on her journey. Depending on what i find in the Hissing Wastes, of course.
More great screenies! ... in my first game when I chose the templars, my Lavellan talked Calpernia out of a fight, and since Morrigan drank from the well, I didn't have to fight the guardian either. i kinda like RP'ing resolutions instead of combat resolutions sometimes. I have no idea what I'll do this time around.
I did the same with Calpernia by doing her sidequest. I did the ritual, so Abelas believed me and

we got to head through a secret passage, getting some nice codex entries and avoiding all of the annoying battles. Abelas also didn't fight me.
So I started up my new canon PT as a Trevelyan who came from the Ostwick Circle as a member of the mage delegation.
Following the explosion at the Conclave, some nonsense happened and he was taken into custody by a mad Orlesian and an uptight Nevarran. They pressed him into joining a merry band of Chantry outcasts who had been labelled heretics. He is now tasked to obtain the aid of the mage rebels under Grand Enchanter Fiona or the Templars led by Lord Seeker Lucius Corin in order to close the Breach.
After witnessing the abhorrent (and unusual) behavior of the Lord Seeker at Val Royeux, he received an invitation by Fiona herself and accepted her offer of an alliance at the esteemed Gull and Lantern Tavern, which should have been the home of Drunk!Alistair. Unfortunately, Trevelyan and his entourage were greeted coldly by the Grand Enchanter, who seemed to not recall their meeting at Val Royeux.
Things were complicated further when she revealed that the mage separatists became indentured servants of some prickly-hooded Vint named Gereon Alexius. Amidst a series of verbal backhands from Vivienne and other patronizing what-the-f***ery pointed at Fiona, Felix, Magister Alexius' crippled son, secretly invited the Inquisitorial Posse to the Redcliffe Village Chantry. Inside, Trevelyan closed a strange time-bending rift and met a fabulous moustached mage named Dorian Pavus who revealed that Alexius was a member of the Venatori, a cult of delusional Vints who believe that Tevinter is still relevant. Furthermore, the Magister wants to meet the Herald personally, which smelled an awful lot like a trap.
After witnessing bronto feces hit the windmill, Trevelyan has to weigh his options and make a decision soon. In the meantime, he will gather new agents, acquire some associates, and expand the influence of the Inquisition before he commits to one side of the war.

I started In Your Heart Shall Burn today. And then real life got in the way. Unfortunately, since DAI is a silly bugger and has no cutscene pause, I had to restart the game.
On my second attempt, I noticed that Cassandra looked pretty annoyed about her invisible arm problem.
Spoiler
Trev encountered a strange young man named Cole, who kept dancing around like he had ants on him. With that tatty clothing, Trev wouldn’t be surprised if he did. Cullen was quite alarmed to see a fellow named Samson working with the elder one. How exactly Cullen could see him is anyone’s guess. Blood magic? Telescopic eyes?
They fought their way through to the trebuchets, setting up a marvellous avalanche to bury Corypheus’ forces. Of course, nothing is ever that simple! The team were briefly attacked by an archdemon – where’s Blackwall when you need him? And had to fall back to Haven. Cullen had completely changed his tune, and now considered the fight hopeless.
Trev saved every member of the Inquisition. Well, all the important ones he’d spoken to before. Who cares about those other guys? Sera was pleased, though not approval-pleased. They hustled back into the Chantry, where Cole confused and irritated Cullen. He also used some strange telepathy to get information from Roderick. The guy has a backdoor out of Haven! They’ll need time to flee though.
Being the grand hero he is, Trev decided to make a final stand against the elder one. Who knows – maybe he’ll get lucky and Corypheus will get sat on by his own dragon? Andraste chose him for a reason, right? There’s no way it will end like this.
Dorian remarked that drawing people’s attention is exactly what he’s good at. Crazy guy actually seems to relish the prospect of this fight. So the little team fought their way down to a trebuchet, killing red templars along the way to stop them reaching Haven’s Chantry. With two mages and Cassandra, they were able to hold out against every enemy and kill the red templar behemoth. First time ever! Trev then leisurely wandered around collecting loot... ‘cause it’s not like he’s on a time limit or anything.
Trev’s luck did hold out, even though he was abandoned by his friends (thanks, gang). He was thrown into a mineshaft, out of range of the avalanche. Of course, then real life interfered again and I had to take a break. Kind of ruining the momentum here!
It’s actually pretty out here, even with all the... blizzard. Look at the sky!
Spoiler
Trev stumbled a little way and then passed out. He had some kind of hallucination where Cassandra dumped him over her shoulder and carried him back to camp. At least... it could’ve been a hallucination. We finally arrived at Skyhold. Trev’s face was a sight to see! After being packed off to the Circle while his family accumulates wealth and power, he now has a frigging fortress of his own, with an Inquisition to follow him!
I do think they’re having second thoughts about that after seeing him in the dreaded beige outfit.

Edit: Not to make a long post even longer, but I just realised I got a great screenshot of Coryfish!

Revas managed to kill her first dragon today! 'Twas the Ferelden Frostback, this time. No screenies because it's a tad difficult to do so when one is on fire, but it was quite the fight. Revas took the usual suspects (Cass, Varric and Madame de Fer) and got murdered the first time. Going back prepared for an actual fight with a full stock of bees and Healing Mists and the same team (but respecing Vivienne because I chose abilities out of my usual order and it was messing me up ) proved much more successful. The highlights: the entire team getting wiped out at about the halfway mark - except for Cassandra. She was low on health but a quick regen potion and some smart use of Shield Wall brought her back up to full health and with full guard. She fought off Frosty long enough for her to fly away and give Cass the chance to revive everyone. Things went smoothly again after a couple Healing Mist tosses, until about 1/4th Frosty hp. The little dragonlings managed to get Vivienne, and with her went Varric. Revas and Cassandra took them out, revived the team, and went after Frosty on her clifftop nest. Naturally, without any proper healing, the squishy mage and archer went down again. Luckily, Cassandra can take a hit; while she distracted Frosty, Revas poked her back shins with pointy sticks until she finally went down for the count! And then, rather than commenting about how great we were, Cassandra asked Varric if Hawke autographed books. ("Why, doesn't your copy of Tale of the Champion have a big hole in it?" "Yes, but it could also have Hawke's signature.")
To relax, Revas took the crew to the worst place in Thedas: the Fallow Mire. Maker, this place is horrible. Undead everywhere, muck in boots, murderous Avvar...Revas made it a quick trip. The group did everything all in one trip, and even got this mountain of a man to join up:
Spoiler
We went home to Skyhold for an actual break after that. Dorian called Revas a true friend and she was surprised how much she cared for him, too, given that she's an elf and he's a Tevinter - she's glad she joined the Inquisition; it really is bringing all sorts together and showing her that one cannot generalize an entire group based on a single bad experience. Of course, then Mother Giselle brought something to Revas's attention about said mage: a letter from his estranged father. She refused to lie and brought it to him, where he agreed to go meet this "family retainer" in Redcliffe - and kill everyone if things went south. Turned out it wasn't a family retainer, but Dorian's father himself. Revas was on Dorian's side the entire time, of course, but when Dorian wanted to storm out, she gently encouraged him to talk to his father. He did so and things...went well, she supposes. They're not exactly friendly, but Dorian's working on forgiving him. We went back to Skyhold. Another rather emotional conversation, and Revas told him something he's probably never heard before: that he's brave. The look on his face was worth it all.
Spoiler
So, pleased with her surprisingly good relationship with one Mr. Pavus, Revas went on to talk to another close friend - the Lady Seeker. She had asked Revas to find the other Seekers earlier, and she'd sent Leliana's people to find them immediately. They'd gotten word back about where they could be, and Revas wanted to check in with Cass before going. Rather than mentioning this, however, she surprised Revas with a conversation in the War Room. She told her that she admired her, that she was proud to know her and call her a friend.
Spoiler
Trying to play it cool and not cry, Revas said she just makes it up as she goes, really, but she felt the same way. They took off for Caer Oswin right away. And, because things never work out as planned, they ran into some cultists that are out to destroy the world. Surprise, surprise At least this place is gorgeous. Revas thinks she'd like to retire to a place like this someday. In the meantime, there's cultists to kill.
Spoiler
They found a note on one of them, saying the Seekers are resistant to Red Lyrium and that the Lord Seeker sold them out to Coryfish. Cassandra was furious and they went onwards until they found her former pupil and friend, Daniel. Turns out they're not so resistant to Red Lyrium, after all. Cassandra decided to give him a merciful death.
Spoiler
Why yes, more shameless screenshots of Cassandra; you should see my screenshots folder - mostly her, Leliana and pretty scenery
We confronted the Lord Seeker (he gave her a book, argued that the Inqusition was the same and got killed in five seconds flat) and then returned to Skyhold yet again. Turns out that book is terribly dull but holds many secrets. Among them, that the Seekers have always known how to "cure" Tranquility. Revas thinks Tranquility sounds horrible, doesn't understand why this was kept secret, but doesn't blame Cassandra (or, by extension, the Seekers) for any of it. What's more, Cassandra was made Tranquil during her Vigil to become a Seeker. Revas is thinking that the Vigil doesn't sound like such a wonderful experience anymore. She holds her tongue, however, and Cassandra says she is no longer sure rebuilding the Seekers is right. Revas tells her that if anyone can do it, make them better, it is Cassandra. They part with Cassandra a bit more hopeful.
Josephine was next on the "friends to check up on" list (because Varric's waiting for a certain smith to show up before asking any favours. Or perhaps he's busy catching up with Hawke). So to summarize, Josie's family is in debt and assassins are after her.
Spoiler
Leliana makes the point that Josie's solution is going to take too long and we should just cut a bloody path through the assassin's guild to destroy the original contract. Revas agrees but when Josephine argues like that, she finds it difficult to say no to her, too. She ends up doing things the Ambassador's way. Which is, of course, going to take some time with all those trips to the War Table. The group moves on to the Western Approach (because I have some time on my hands and this is going to be a pun in a paragraph or two ).
Spoiler
Flirting with Harding, another dragon, Grey Wardens and Venatori - oh my! Revas, Cassandra, Varric and Vivienne stumble across the Still Ruins almost immediately and decide to check it out. This place is incredible!
Spoiler
Screens don't really do the place credit, for obvious reasons, but I took a lot of them so:
"Looks like the Duke Venatori...has fallen from grace "
Why is it so difficult to time (hehehe) action shots? This demon flying backwards looked cool in-game
Everything is frozen in time but while Redcliffe was terrifying, this is fascinating. Revas wants to stay a while (and take many, many screenies because this really is one of my favourite places in the game), but there's work to do. They fight through Venatori, demons and technical issues (namely Inquisition crashing and having to restart from the camp at the start of the Western Approach ) to this creepy staff. Naturally, Revas takes it. Time starts moving again and they have to fight their way out, as usual. She gives Vivienne the new staff, at least.
And that's it for now. Got a lot done and we're back in Skyhold to finish up with Josephine's War Table missions when time permits (get it? because the Ruins were trapped in time? I like puns)
Edit: Brilliant screens and commentary (as always), Vesperia Good job with Coryfish, he's a hard one to catch. And I always did wonder what happens to the team when Inky gets tossed into that mineshaft...

It seems Ulekarot is an expert at jinxing himself, as he got a visit from the very person he'd bound himself to after partaking of the Well of Sorrows: Mythal, or Flemeth.
Spoiler
His expertise as a history buff paid off:
She didn't seem too impressed, though.
Nonetheless, her being Morrigan's mother complicated matters. After the two had their reunion, Flemeth offered them assistance and left. Morrigan was unsurprisingly thankful that Ulekarot had taken the knowledge of the Well instead.
Ulekarot spent time tying loose ends with his companions across Orlais, in addition to requisitioning a necklace of kadan to commit to his relationship with the Bull. He tried not to get very sentimental about it though. Others had no problem doing the job for him.
Like Varric:
Spoiler
Even Cole, but that kid was weird already:
Spoiler
Now that Cole was more human, he'd have to teach him about the concept of privacy.
It was now time to head to the shrine of Mythal to earn the assistance he needed to take on Corypheus' dragon, and after battling the dragon for quite some time, he and his allies earned its respect:
Spoiler
Adaar and his companions watched as it flew off, presumably to meet them when the time came again, but only once. It was finally time to face Corypheus, and he didn't intend to waste the chance he'd been given.

Great posts everywhere, but I haven't a like to give.
Here is my Champion, Valena, fresh out of retirement and raring to go. I had replaced my video card with an upgrade, got a Trojan fully cleaned up (long story) and took a break from PC gaming while I played my GBA and PSP. Now I'm back, and about to tackle Emprise du Lion before I go to the Ball.
I must admit, I love playing a tank. Now that I've really gotten back into the swing of it, it's a lot of fun. I went Champion with some Battlemaster for the taunts and armor bonuses, and it's been great so far. I went riding out in a desert on a horse with no name as soon as the game would let me (aka Hissing Wastes) to get some tier 3 armor schematics, and I have nice procs like walking bomb @ 50% weapon damage on my armor and chain lightning at 75% on my shield. I can make things mad just by walking into them and swinging my axe a bit.
Once I kill another dragon or two, I head back out there since I have the "Short List" perk and just enough cash to burn. That's where you can get the Masterwork medium and heavy armor schematics.
This was her before I grabbed the latest patch. In case anyone is curious, the mod for my PJs is here. I'm running a few others, like no sideburns, so feel free to PM me if you want to know my full list.
This first one took split second timing as she fell into the Fade. I managed to get it without reloading:

This is after the patch, with one of my favorite color schemes in the game for any character. It is the same armor, and this is during the intro into Emprise du Lion:

I'm on my phone at the moment and multiquoting is a pain in the butt impossible, so just want to say, amazing screenies everyone -- love to see those inkys in action -- and, as always, good storytelling too.
@Imanol: Have you already decided which side you will choose? Seems as though you're leaning towards the mages, which makes sense for a circle mage, in a way. I'm planning on an elf mage for my next PT and still not sure how I want to play it.
@Vesperia: when I played through Harold's game I noticed there was one set of medium armor -- prowler maybe? -- that caused his body to disappear. It was... Somewhat disconcerting , and the battlemage coat coupled with enchanter mail arms caused my Lavellan's arms to disappear. So I feel for poor Cassie. How will she ever beat Bull with a stick now?
@Nightingale: Congrats on slaying Frosty. Good strategies with the bees! I think I only ever used them in my first game, and gave them only to Sera. I really find that, out of the warriors, Cassie seems to be the best dragonslayer, and I guess she ought to be, since it's in her blood. At least she seems to target the proper opponents! Also.... That pun!
@Rekkampum: love those Guardian of Mythal close-yps. Kinda makes me with I was going to be fighting her this time, but sadly, Morrigan will take the plunge, so to speak.
@Natashina: you ninja'd your post in there while I was re-correcting a bazillion auto-corrects. I hate/love that feature ... Love your inquisitor. Hubba hubba. I'm looking forward to my next PT where I'm hoping to play around with some nodding myself.

Aww, thanks Spork. She's not as "model perfect" as my mage is, but I like her that way. Scars and all.
If you want tips on how to mod with the patch, let me know or check out my profile feed. I have an update where I thank the modders, and I have basic instructions there.
Just a quick update since I had to reduce my graphics settings (and therefore exit the game) before heading to the Temple of Mythal. If I don't, the tiles reset on me and I get slightly irritated.
Finished up Emprise, saved the villagers, shut down the red lyrium mine, and totally ruined Imshael's day when Olinar chose to kill him instead of let him talk. Take that, "choice spirit". Then it was time for some dragon hunting. Hivernal wasn't too bad; in fact, no one face-planted and I still had 6 health potions left. So, I thought, Kaltenzahn shouldn't be that hard either, at least not compared to the Ravager. Whoops. Needless to say, Kalty really kicked Olinar's hiney but good. All health potions, regen potions, and resistance potions were used up, and everyone was down for the count except for Blackwall, who barely hung on with like 5 hit points left but finally brought her down. I was getting really worried toward the end because just as she was getting close to being finished, she did her geth stunlock scream for her babies and put up full guard again. Arrgh! I was sure I was going to have to start over but luckily Blackwall is the man and got the job done.
Afterwards, Olinar needed a break so he went back to the Oasis to finish up the temple. No fair spawning a level 22 pride demon on me, game! No level-scaling my a$$. I can't wait to go back to Casual difficulty.
Then I decided to take the plunge and see how badly I would do against the Highland Ravager. Olinar was level 23, just like her, and everyone else was 22. I really thought long and hard about who to take because I was expecting an even tougher fight than with Kalty. I ended up bringing Cassandra, Blackwall, and Sera. And wouldn't you know, this battle was one of the easiest I've had all game against bosses. Sera went down a couple of times, and Cass once, but I had remembered to select "Resurgence" this time and also remembered to use it. Got Ravvy on the first try, and still had plenty of potions to spare. Go figure. I had a tougher time with her on my Hard run last game.
Now I'm in the Arbor Wilds, getting ready to head to the temple. Made Olinar some fancy new Keeper Robes out of the dragon goo he collected so he's definitely ready for whatever comes. Well, maybe.....

Thanks!
Olinar put all those dragon hunting skills to good use after what happened at the Temple. He decided to take the plunge, literally, and drink from the Well of Sorrows. Dorian wasn't happy about that (first disapproval all game I think?) but he felt he was the one who should do it. He might be known as the Herald of Andraste, and the Inquisitor, but before all that he was First of his clan, in line to be Keeper. This is what a Keeper does: preserve knowledge and pass it on. Just like Dorian needs to go back to Tevinter, Olinar needed to do this for his people.
I wish there was an opportunity to talk with the LI about this a bit more, other than the generic asking for opinions from those present. But I guess that's what head-canon is for. I imagine Olinar taking Dorian aside and telling him the above, and then whispering, "I love you" before heading into the Well. Dorian's actual reaction during the scene was priceless, however. He swore in Tevene (?) and then said basically if Olinar didn't come out of this ok he was going to kill him.
Morrigan wasn't happy either, and was very snippy later on. Geez, like she's got experience drinking out of magical wells and knows how loud the voices should be. Olinar told her to get stuffed and let him think. When he went to talk to her later, Leliana informed him she'd gone into the Eluvian after Kieran. So, Olinar followed and ended up back in the Fade. Uh, what happened to the Crossroads? Anyway, he found Morrigan and they soon found Kieran and Morrigan's mother, Flemeth, who just happened to be.....Mythal? Uh oh.
This family reunion made Dorian's meeting with his father look like a holiday festival. Olinar wondered if all humans had such antagonistic relationships with their parents? He decided to ignore, for now, that fact that Mythal was basically able to force him to do what she wanted and instead asked if she would help them. She told him to go to one of her old places and find a dragon. Defeat it in battle and it would do as he commanded. Lose and...well, don't lose.
So off he went, taking Dorian, Cass, and Blackwall. He shouted at the heavens to summon the dragon and in it swooped in all its majesty. It may have been his imagination, but she looked even bigger than the Ravager. She was enormous, golden yellow with shades of green and blue mixed in. How long would it take to defeat her? If he wanted her to take on Cory's dragon he didn't want to hurt her too bad or she'd be unable to fight later. Which would kind of defeat the purpose, yes? He didn't know how long they battled but eventually, the dragon withdrew and didn't attack. Olinar waved off the others and went to "speak" with her. A few words and some crazy binding magic later, and off she flew. Dorian and Blackwall were most impressed. Never seen anyone stare down a dragon before. Hopefully she will be back to full health when he summons her later.
Next up: Corypheus

Final game stats for Olinar:

Inq. level: 20 (Ferris was my favorite merchant; discounts help a lot. )
Power: 329
Romance: Dorian
Divine: (Darth) Leliana
Gold: 29627
War Table missions: 184
Now I can finally update to Patch 5 and redo my mods. I also need to take care of (what I think is) my power supply issue, so it may be a while before I start (well, technically continue) my next game. I've already got the character created; she's been stuck staring at the Breach for a couple of months now.

I think the tinting table is officially my favourite thing in the world! Not only can I re-colour bad crafting materials, but I can tint parts of the clothing that weren’t customisable! For example – Trev is wearing the adventurer mage armour, human only. The one with the very ruffled sleeves. Previously I could only alter the colour of the vest, trousers and boots. Now with tinting I can change the sleeves’ colour too! Same with the companions. I fired up my old Inkys so I could play with tinting on there too.
Oh my. Someone needs to take this power away from me.
Spoiler
Even the hat. If I wanted, I could make his jacket and trousers plaidweave too. But... that would be overkill. I’m generally sticking to classy stuff for Vivienne, Varric and Dorian. And more... unusual looks for Sera, Solas and Cole. Warriors can have a mix. Everyone looks so good! Well... subjectively good. They look... distinctive. Sera looks pretty great in clashing colours.
Trev is going for the 'garishly bright Inquisition'. He takes his role as Herald very seriously. He wants the Inquisition to be the... 'light shining in the darkness'.
Spoiler
Anywho, Trev ran round all the companions to see what they think of the latest move to Skyhold. Vivienne reassured Trev that Haven wasn't his fault, meanwhile Blackwall didn't think he was taking it seriously enough. Well, we can't all stand on the battlements, staring broodily at the horizon. It turns out Cassandra is a bit of a bookworm. This is excellent, turns out she and Trev have something in common. He suggested borrowing the book, and she got a bit flustered about that idea. It was very cute.
He went to find Varric, who was up on the battlements with Champion Hawke. It turns out that her friend Alistair (!) has discovered corruption in the Wardens. I thought it was Stroud again this PT. Oh, this is going to be tough. This Hawke isn't one of my favourites, but she's still my character. Maybe I'll leave Adamant until after Halamshiral. Is that Morrigan and Alistair/Loghain conversation still bugged?
Anywho, Hawke was quizzed about some stuff, like why she's not Viscountess anymore, why she's all alone. Apparently her sister has been taken from the Wardens for her own safety, meanwhile her boyfriend is doing a helping-people-thing in Starkhaven, instead of a killing-people-thing in Kirkwall. Good to know! From what Varric says, Kirkwall's had enough misery to last a lifetime. And people think Ostwick is a dump!
Edit: Congrats on the finish, Melbella!

I finally bit the bullet and created an account at Imgur. Let's see if I can get some screenshots to work now. There aren't many action shots since I have to take them manually and then save them when I can pause the game. Sometimes I hit "print screen" at the right time, sometimes not so much.
First up is Andariel, my first quizzie. She actually came out pretty good. Too much blush though, and the tattoo was supposed to be darker. She was a DW rogue assassin and romanced Solas.
Spoiler
Next is Julia. Mage, KE, romanced Cullen. Heh, I didn't realize how similar these images were until seeing them next to each other. In the first she is looking at the breach at the beginning of the game; the second is at the end of the game.

Third quizzie is Neralah, Champion, romanced Blackwall.
Spoiler
And finally, Olinar, another KE, who just got done romancing Dorian.

Edit: yay, it worked!

Not enough likes for that Cole I'm a big fan of sticking everyone in plaidweave (or, you know, something less garish if I want to take a scene seriously ) so I adore the armour tinter too.
I think the Alistair/Loghain and Morrigan conversation is still bugged but I believe someone posted a workaround on the last few pages here for PC.
In other news, Revas claimed Griffon Wing Keep. That's about it, really. I'll post screenies when I get a bit more done, but the irony of the Venatori using an old Warden Keep while the Wardens are using an old Tevinter ritual tower is not lost on Revas. (I, however, actually just realised that on this playthrough, too. Doh.)
And since people here seem to know a bit about everything and it's not a big enough issue to make a new thread about: does anyone know why Inky's crit chance is sitting at 9% despite gear/passives raising it substantially higher? Adding more gear doesn't raise it quite as much as it should, either. Rather perplexed with it, is all.

Visited the Emerald Graves for the first time. I'm still looking for a Great Bear... I want to fulfill that Dalish Elf's request so she can stop her moaning and groaning.

If you don't want to bother looking for (or killing) one, choose Leliana for the "Gather Leather" war table op that opens up after you take Suledin Keep. Her agents will bring back great bear hides. Unfortunately, that's all they ever bring back.
Spoiler
Third quizzie is Neralah, Champion, romanced Blackwall.
Spoiler
And finally, Olinar, another KE, who just got done romancing Dorian.
Spoiler
Edit: yay, it worked!
I haven't squared off with Andariel in like forever
I played dress up with my Trevelyan because I'm a dirty dirty cheater. I was content with her just wearing the casual Skyhold retexture as her armor, but then I decided to mix things up a bit. I wish you could tint armor while in Haven, but I'll manage until then . I'm loving the new look.

Today in the Inquisition... Dofni decided to forego the Arbor Wilds for the moment and went to the Hissing Wastes instead. On their arrival, scout Harding told them about some ancient surface dwarf ruins. Very curious. And enough to make our diminutive inquisitor believe she made the right choice, no matter how impatient Morrigan gets. The Hissing wastes are a vast expanse of desert, unlike any they saw in the Western Approach or the Forbidden Oasis. Cole often feels compelled to point out the obvious and note how big the sky is. He's not wrong, but every few minutes? ... Dorian has been uncharacteristically silent. I say uncharacteristically, but it's kinda hard to tell because he hasn't really been out adventuring with us since we found that last venatori in the Hinterlands, oh so long ago. Well there are plenty more out here in the Wastes, so I'm sure he'll have something to say soon. Or maybe he's just pouting.
So far, it feels likes we've been walking forever but haven't really gotten anywhere. Closed a few rifts, found a couple of shards. What is it about desert shards being in such hard-to-get-to places? Although it might help if Dofni were able to jump up on rock formations that are shorter than she is ... I doubt I'll be able to complete any mosaic tilesets this time, but I am really gonna try and find all eight pages of the "Notes on the Wastes" for the first time. So far, 1 down, 7 to go.
Right, back to the desert. Loving everyone's screenies, and lovely looking Inkys Thank you all for sharing them!

Nah. JK. Lol. I was playing as Azul Hwallo for a bit on normal and was cruisin Skyhold. I got the mommy treatment from Vivianne, buttered up Sera, had Dorian join, kept Cole despite Viviane saying "shoo him off", got Lightwind Demoir (Hawke), defended Cassandra during spat, gave her the book, grunted during Iron Bull's troop meeting, got a bit soldiery towards Liliana, checked up on Josephine, Solas, Blackwall, Varric and Cullen. I hit Western Approach a tad bit.
I had more time to play today after I got off work so I hopped over to Chasimess. Hers was a bit more interesting.
I kept Cole, checked up on Vivianne, defended Varric (still trying to hate on Cassandra) after getting Lightwind Demoire (Azul and Chasimess are running on the same world almost), sweetened up Sera but didn't hit on her, kept Dorian and checked up on Cullen, Liliana, and Blackwall. However I am shocked how far I am with Iron Bull, Solas, and Josephine. I did the whole Charges thing with Iron Bull, had the dream conversation with Solas and did the balcony meeting with Josephine.
This gave me quite the quandary. Since I am progressing with the two pretty well which one should I go for? Grrr. Lol. Anyways I went over to the Western Approach and am having zero luck there. I just dinged 11 while Sera, Solas and Iron Bull are only nearing 11. I may hit another zone or head back to the marshes. I need a 10 on up zone.
And now a post script from Alexius:
"So my judgement was for my life to be spared and help out with magic (Operation). I feel I should of been killed off since my son is going to die. It would of been a mercy killing. *sigh* I can only hope that this operation that will be done in 2:45:00 will be worth it".
PS: How long was Chasimess out when she was sleep talking to Solas? Skyhold was a wreck but after I talked to Solas for the first time in skyhold and did the whole dream thing Skyhold got partially worked on. For all I know like Cullen said "The place will be semi worked on in two weeks". I mean damn.....lol....Solas is kind of a pervert for keeping women asleep for two weeks.
BTW here's lightwind in DA 2
Frankly her hairstyle isn't in DAI so I picked something close to that.
Also I am playing PROJECT XONE on my 3DS. A weird idea kind of popped into my head: maybe BIOWARE should do a XOver type game with their characters. Lol. That is just a different subject for a different thread.
The thought of knowing that my Inquisitor drunk from the Well of Sorrows bothered me so much that I decided not to drink from it in this story. Being forever bound to Mythal would mean she'd have to be obedient to the end.
Oh and I recently just started my Male Dwarf/Warrior playthrough. I took so long trying to decide if I should put Face tattoos or not, and what kind of complexion I should take. Not sure if I am still satisfied with my choice of complexion. Inquisitor Male Dwarfs for some reason just do not look good without a beard, and good thing I don't object to the idea of having my male dwarf having a beard. I plan for a Cassandra Romance this time...
