Haha, yeah, me neither. But I still have Diablo II installed on my  other computer that I hardly even turn on anymore.

Hmm, I bought Skyrim on launch day and still haven't finished it. Played 150-200 hrs maybe and got bored. Or overwhelmed. Not sure which. Never started the main quest line. Plus I hated how my character looked - I kept a helmet on her at all times. :P

Still have a couple Origins to complete, when I get around to it. Never finished City Elf or Mage Elf.

ME I have played to death but will likely go back to it when I'm tired of DAI.

Played NWN and NWN2 (+expansions) for hours upon hours. Not even DAI's horrible PC controls can match the abomination that is the NWN2 interface.

Have both Witcher and Witcher II from Gog, but haven't played them yet.

Have Dreamfall, haven't played it

Have Dishonored, haven't played it.

Have you played KOTOR or KOTOR II? I played them for the first time last summer and thought they were pretty good. Maybe a bit dated in the graphics department, but that didn't bother me. KII was a little on the weird side though, even with the restored content mod.

Yeah, the companions aren't very chatty once you save the world. <_<  Talking to Cole after end game made me really not like Solas. And I do like Solas, most of the time. But that is just....ugh. Mr. "Spirits are people, spirits are my friends, I would never bind a spirit....blah blah biddy blah," does something even worse.

Spoiler
And no, Dread Wolf, the People don't need you, not any more. He just gets more full of himself the more sh*t that goes wrong. After seeing that scene with Cole, I was glad his stupid orb was destroyed. Now he can't use it to cause some other calamity.

Off soapbox now.

A couple final thoughts on finishing my last game:

1. When meeting Flemeth in the Fade, she said something like, "As long as the music plays, we dance." I'm sure I've heard her say that line before, but this time I was immediately struck by, what music? The song the darkspawn hear the Old Gods sing? Hmmm.....

2. At the final battle with Corypheus, when Inqui finally gets to say something, Olinar didn't have the option to say, "I don't believe in gods." A result of him drinking from the Well? It's not an elfy thing since my other one said that line. Just wondering.

Diablo II was my first full on gaming experience - won't work now with windows 7

Awww.  :( Is it odd for me to wish I still had a DOS set up so I could play pre-Windows games? I've been trying to get Rama to run for years.

Karliah Adaar has been a busy qunari inquisitor as of late.

After dealing with the Wardens and giving them a second chance, she turned her sights to other things. The Venatori in the Hissing Wastes. And the rumor of slaves being taken to the Emprise du Lion to work a red Templar controlled mine of red lyrium.

First to the Hissing Wastes where she along with her trusty lover Sera, her best friend Iron Bull and a man she finds charming, Dorian... they laid waste to anything that dared raise a sword or claw against them. Be it the Sandy Howler or some venatori mage thinking he could best them. All fell before them. Even the demons falling out of the rifts soon realized how bad an idea that was. Karliah was very careful in her searching of the Hissing Wastes that she even found and completed her first set of mosaic plates for Skyhold. Sadly she was disappointed when the tier 3 Legion of the Dead armor schematic she found was only in dwarf size. :(

Next to the Emprise du Lion. The last place Corypheus had anything that resembled a strong hold. There she and her faithful friends slew red Templars while rescuing enslaved villagers in the minds. She laughed merrily when Imshal offered her a bribe, knowing he was terrified of her. It was a short battle but his fort soon became hers. But there was more to be done. After repairing a bridge to cross a mighty gorge, she realized there was dragons that made that place their home. in fact it was a breeding ground for them. The first two dragons went down after about a ten minute fight each but the third and sleeping one proved to be more difficult.

In the end however she stood victorious with her crew. 10/10 dragons slain and the Emprise du Lion back in the hands of her people.

By this time Morrigan had discovered what she felt Corypheus was up to. Searching for an elven mirror. Massing the might of her armies, Karliah marched in after him and discovered he was actually looking for something called The Well Of Sorrows. Taking the time to respect the ancient Elves, Karliah performed the rights of passage and earned the ancient ones respect. In the end she managed to talk down Corypheus's right hand. A mage by the name of Capernia. She convinced the woman that the tevinter needed her more then Corypheus who planned to bind her to his will.

This left the Well of Sorrows for the inquisition. Knowing the risks due to her arcane knowledge, Karliah ended up allowing Morrigan to drink from the well. What this means for Morrigan... who's to say. But Karliah does not feel Morrigan's fate is her own to decide. Only Morrigan could decide that.

Recreated my Male Dwarf as I was dissatisfied with my other dwarf, but now, I'm content. I believe my Male Dwarf would be in his late 30s to his early 40s. Cassandra is pretty old given her little story with Divine Beatrix which was like 18-20 years ago, she said. I'll post pics in a bit... :) I think Gatsi, the dwarf in Skyhold, was quite the inspiration for my dwarf, 'cause he is not a bad looking dwarf.

The thought of needing to complete almost every side quest and grabbing schematics from RNG looties really discourages new playthroughs. I have no idea why BioWare thought it was good to make this game 75% Side Quest. If there wasn't a Power system and all enemies scale to your level, DA:I would hardly last 5 hours of gameplay.

I'm not a big fan of the power point system, but I understand the reason.for having it.

I did a playthrough that took only 17 hours. All I did was close the rifts I encountered and kill any dragons that were nearby. Doing that help build up enough power very quickly

Diablo II was my first full on gaming experience - won't work now with windows 7

Pong was my first full gaming experience. It would be nice if a version was released for todays platform's

Hmm... I went back to play my pro-Circle, pro-Chantry, super-Andrastian human Circle mage.  I'm contemplating not recruiting Cole and running him off since it would be the most in-character decision to make, but it will be hard to do... I'm a completionist when it comes to companions and extra content  :?

I also wish I had some green crafting materials on this character to give everyone some holiday spirit

You're gonna have a handful with Sera then. Cole and Sera are like the two characters that I leave out, but Sera would be my choice to keep if I were to pick either one of them.

Thank you for your input on my gaming problem.

I found a solution. I couldn't find any game that dragged me.

Dragon Age Inquisition was the very first time I played as a mage. I'm ususally a cautious rouge hitting from a distance.
But life as a Knight Enchanter, even an elven one, has changed something. It's becoming exiting and interesting at the same time.

What was the great thing about bringing mages along? Well, it was their ability to cast healing spells and protection, remove or weaken defenses. Very handy with a mage at your side.

So, what I did was start over again with Dragon Age Origins. This time as a mage. An elven mage even.
I named her 'Europa'. According the the ancient greek mythology she was a phoenician noble woman. Her name would be connected with terms as 'the intelligent' or 'open-minded' which fits well for a mage.

Zeus abducted Europa and she gave birth to three children. Later she married king Asterios. Europa's earliest appearence was in the Iliad by Homer around 800 BC.
The continent Europe was named after her.

I'm pretty surprised to experience the story from this side. It revealed a lot I never knew. Like how the blood mage Javin fits into the story. This is going to be exiting.

The best part was meeting Morrigan again. Ever since the scene at The Well of Sorrows I've been turning in my sleep.

Don't worry. I used an illusion spell on Morrigan. She doesn't know I play as a female mage ;)

First attempt at flirting with Cassandra. Surprisingly, the flirt option which should say "4. I'd like us to be a closer." right after she's done asking you about your background and you ask her about her background, became "Such modesty." I believe that only occurs if you've accumulated the max amount of approval you can up to the point where you can talk to her by yourself. If you picked the former choice, she would give you a "Slightly Disapproves," but if the latter, it'd be "Slightly Approves." I didn't do anything yet up to this point, and so, I haven't left Haven for the first time yet. Lastly, I was able to ask her about Anthony without her refusing to until another time. :)

.
Bioware removed a bit of the exaggerations in their faces.
Morrigan's new face in DAI is more rounded and her lips thinner. Her eyes are also less starring and hard in their expression.

Same goes for Leliana. Her face is more slim and lips thinner. The nose is softer.

It's like the two has switched characteristics?

That's some crazy modded DA:O, lol

Anyway... I made the haircut work. The hair's so ridiculous though, because as it turns out, all I needed to do was choose a different facial structure to make it not clip with the ears.

This is sooooo, sooo bad. Hair grows from around your skull and it's extremities, Bioware, the skull doesn't grow under the hair.

But I digress. Julius Odysseus, take 2. Beware, I decided to go a little bit crazy. First 2 shots are to show that there is almost no clipping :P (still a little bit in the left ear, not always visible)
Spoiler

Especially pleased with the eyes; unnatural, not realistically possible, but not obviously unreal at first glance. Just the way I like 'em.
Might've overdone the nose a tad though :P

Julius is basically going to be my Antichrist AntiAndraste run. Romancing Cassandra.
Wish me luck :P

Do any of you guys and gals know how to change the default folder where your screenshots are saved? I kinda want them on my other, larger hard disk. I could, of course, do the Steam/Origin Inception thing I've done before for Mass Effect, but it'd be nice to just redirect the in game screenshot function to a different folder.

Speaking of Mass Effect... I had an itch yesterday. I think it will get stronger over the coming months ;)

Today my inquisitor went to the temple of Dumat where they helped Cassandra knock red Templars into the fiery pit.
Later tried to summon a mount to get on top of a hill, so of course the horse appears on top of the hill. <_< Later we ran over some arcane horrors because they had the audacity to traverse MY desert.

You know, I had my DAO screens redirect to my external, but it's been years and I can't remember how I got it to do that...So, it's possible but I'm not sure how. Sorry?

In any case, the Daily Inquisition Report:

Revas finally finished clearing out all of the Western Approach. Last time we claimed Griffon Wing Keep:

Spoiler

This time, we found another interesting dungeon - Ancient Tevinter, though with a trained pet giant rather than time magic (I'm sure I could come up with a pun for that, too, but they're not very creative. I'd go so far as to say they'd be a giant disappointment  ).

Spoiler

And met a lovely little man researching the local high dragon. Revas was excited, Cassandra was bored, Varric was a bit concerned and Vivienne didn't seem to care at all. So, Revas led them on a bunch of little errands for the draconologist, then placed out some bait to see what would happen. Turns out, when you bait a dragon, they tend to show up. Who knew  :P

Spoiler

Not a terribly long fight, this time. Nothing too interesting happened aside from the typical high dragon fight stuff. Revas felt a bit bad for killing her, but the Inquisition gained Frederic of Serault for it so it worked out alright in the end. Well, except for the dragon, I suppose.

Then, with all other quests finished here and every inch explored, Revas and co. met Alistair and Hawke at that Ritual Tower. The Wardens have apparently completely lost it. They were killing each other to summon demons. Revas had wondered when that demon army would show up. Revas thinks they had a decent idea, at least, to get rid of all future Blights. We dealt with the Wardens and demons there while Erimond (what a tool, indeed, Varric) escaped - but he led us to Adamant Fortress. We'll be heading there soon. There's a few companions that want things done, first.

Looks like the patch actually did fix the Measuring the Veil follow-up quest, and after an excruciatingly long War Table mission, we found an unusually large rift in a dark, creepy cave (that, thankfully, we'd cleared of bandits early on in the game).

Spoiler

Dealing with a snotty noble for Sera is next, I think  :)

Oh! And my favourite landmark

I've done a lot in the last few days.  In fact, I just killed the 10th dragon and only need to open the final door to the temple in the Forbidden Oasis.

We are the Doom Crew.  I couldn't get Dorian into frame.

I think Val's had enough with the oblivious people of Thedas:

Probably one of my favorite parts of Inquisition, where Val masters The Game.  I grin every time this comes up:

Bull knows just how to cheer her up.  I wish I could have seen the dance though:

Sorry for the double post, but I don't think so.  What I usually do is copy the screenshots folder to a separate drive.   It helps me organize what screenshots are for what character.

Oh and if you play ME, let me know if you'd like my Gibbed character save from ME3.  It's up on dropbox.   ;)

Random edit:  I need to get a map of all the elven artifacts for Solas.  I keep bringing him with me because I don't have all of the artifact locations memorized.  I'd prefer to keep Dorian around, only make him an ice mage instead of fire next time.

Today in the Inquisition.... After much zig-zagging across vast, (mostly) empty dunes, after much closing of rifts, and much harvesting of Vandal Aria and Nevarrite (sp?), and much finding of shards (okay only eight) and much slaying of Lurkers, Wyverns, the occasional unfortunate fennec, and a myriad of those pesky Venatori, who just can't seem to get enough of the sound of their mumbly chanting voices on the desert wind :o , Dofni and the gang completed their trek through the desert.

Solving the puzzle of the Tomb of Fairel was quite interesting, and appealed to Dofni's dwarvishness in a way not much else had since she joined the Inquisition. She bet Varric would have enjoyed all of it as well ( ) but when she invited him *cough* he barely looked up from the deck of cards he was shuffling, mumbling "Ruffles" over and over. I don't know what he was upset about; Cullen was the one who had to streak across the courtyard.

Anyway, she found all eight pages of the Notes on the Wastes ^_^ and even completed one mosaic out of the set; that being "Sacrifice". I almost didn't mention this one, cuz Harold beat Dofni to it, but oh well. Dofni is also missing just one "Bottle on the Wall" for her wine cellar (wherever that is! ), and two songs for her "Patron of the Arts" collection. Maybe my next Inquisitor will have more luck because Morrigan's patience has just about run out. It's time for the Temple of Mythal.

Oh yeah, there was the not-so-small matter of becoming officially declared a Dragon Hunter. The only one standing in her way of such lofty heights? The Sandy Howler. Unlike running the three-dragon gauntlet in the Emprise du Lion while being totally unprepared for it, this time Dofni was ready.

Now that she had collected all the shards in Thedas, she first took a side-trip to the Forbidden Oasis and finished off the Temple of Pride. Along with a bunch of resistance bonuses and other assorted gear, she picked up an extra Superb Belt of Fire Resistance, which she gave to Cole. Then it was back to Skyhold to craft some new gear.

Found some schematics for Tier 3 "Legion of the Dead" Heavy armor and a Masterwork Serrated Greatsword ^_^ Can't remember if I picked them up in one of the various mini-tombs of Fairel, or from the dog vendor, but I got 'em somewhere.

Spoiler

Nothing too fancy, kinda like Dofni herself ;)

So it was time to wake up the Sandy Howler for her lunch date. What is it with dragons these days, always sleeping in late, missing their appointments? Ah well, Dofni soon remedied that. She marched right up and took a swipe with her new sword. Thanks guys, for running away like that as soon as the dragon wakes up! Uhh, Madame de Fer? This way, my dear.
Spoiler

Now that the battle had truly been joined, Dofni got everyone's attemntion again with her War Horn. I love the spell effects in this game. Caused Sandy to singe her claws on her own cooking.
Spoiler

Haven't managed too many screenies of Cole in all these fights -- he's too sneaky! -- but here's a bonus action shot of the young man's best stealthed DA2 rogue backstab impression as he attempts to kneecap Sandy. It impressed her so much, she tried to tie herself in a knot.
Spoiler

She really didn't like us laughing about that
Spoiler

She seemed a little bit surprised to see us uncrispy and still very much in the fight. She wasn't happy...
Spoiler

...but she fought gamely on for awhile, until she began to realize this would be her last battle.
Spoiler

Gotta give her full credit. When Dofni, showing off her brand new sword ^_^ , delivered the final blow, Sandy really hammed up that death scene :D
Spoiler

So, this wasn't all that tough a fight. Dofn't was nearly invulnerabl;e to Sandy's fire attacks, and also outleveled the poor desert dragon by four! I think next game I'll go here before Emprise du Lion. The Highland Ravager is the toughtest of them, imho, and should be last.

Anyway, have no further exploring or quests to do, other than "What Pride Had Wrought" so we are off to the Arbor Wilds next.

I put in DAI and had to update my ps3. I would guess the update also had patch 5 for DAI. From what I read about patch 5, its suppose to let the player change the color of their armor. I went to craft some armor and saw no option for that. Was the parch for another platform or I'm I SOL until a patch for the ps3 comes out to change the color?
