Trev's decided to bite the bullet (arrow? Spirit bolt?) and head to the Exhalted Plains. Most charming desolate wasteland ever! The team cleared some ramparts for the Orlesians, and had a really tricky time with arcane horrors and revenants.
The thanks they got was soldiers standing around saying “So sick of waiting around” and “this place still smells like corpses”. I don’t know what to tell you, fellas! It’s probably because of all those corpses lying around on the floor! If you’re bored, clean them up!

We headed down towards Pont Agur (?) to close a rift there, and Trev was treated to one of the joys of the countryside.
Can he go back to the Circle now, please? He’s now got a steaming one stuck to his shoe. Dorian offered to blast it off with ice, and only succeeded in encasing Trev’s foot in a glacier. Sera keeled over laughing, and Cassandra suggested in exasperation that maybe they should move on.

They encountered some ruins with a big, ugly rift in the middle. The fight mostly went well, except for the revenant that cropped up. Trev needs to work on those knight enchanter abilities.
The revenant caught Trev with a giant hand and kept yanking him into stabbing distance...
Even after Cassandra challenged it a few times, it kept getting handsy with poor Trev.
After the fight, he attempted to leave through a nearby door and found it physically impossible.
Maybe everyone was shorter in the past?

We moved on to close the rift at the river, and found that Cassandra’s war on halla hasn’t abated. She’s been chasing the poor things all over the Plains since we arrived.
Ouch.

While Trev was messing around at the side of the river, Dorian and Sera started discussing magic. Sera started talking about mages ‘wiggling their tools in people’s faces’ and Dorian couldn’t contain himself. By the time she asked how many tools Corypheus has under him, Dorian had tears in his eyes. Trev took the opportunity to head into the river and clean up a bit. While there, a brainwave came to him. They don’t need to repair the bridge, they can just swim across! He tried to get the others to come into the water, but they weren’t that keen.
Trev decided to attempt it on his own. Unfortunately, since the Circle never taught him anything as valuable as swimming, he just sank like a rock and blacked out. When he awoke, he was back on the shore, and the others were stood around, trading shifty glances. Who went in and pulled him out? What happened while he was unconscious? Trev has the terrible feeling that Sera’s played some prank on him while he was out.
