Nothing. Haven't played since patch 5 was forced on me and broke the loot system even more.

Depends on what area you're in. Most loots will still refresh, but they did patch the Cradle of Sulevin loot exploit. However, you can still exploit it by entering the area and traveling somewhere else and then coming back. It's longer, but at least it is still there. I am very disappointed that such RNG was even made in the first place. In MP, it might be tolerable, but not in SP where 100 hours is not even enough time to unlock all schematics depending on the current status of your playthrough. Also, Gold is pretty scarce and the best schematics cost a crap ton, so you could say money and prices are not well-balanced.

So, picking up where I left off with Jaega....

I had to wait to do Bull's mission on the Coast until the Venatori spy in Nevarra was revealed (war table sequence from Ben-Hassrath reports). While waiting for the first couple of missions to complete, Jaega took Bull, Dorian, and Cass on a dragon hunt.

(and someone forgot to take any screen shots )

Bull was super excited, and even Dorian didn't say nay like he normally does. Maybe 'cause he knew I was playing on Casual mode and he wouldn't need to take a dirt nap this time? Olinar was really mean to him, wasn't he?  :P  Anyway, Frosty was slain without too much difficulty (despite all the fireballs directed at Jaega and no one else <_<) and lots of good loot was collected. Afterwards, she got drunk with Iron Bull

Spoiler

then decided she liked Dorian enough to tell him about the letter Mother Giselle had given her.

Spoiler

He wanted to go see who this "retainer" was right away, but Jaega asked him to wait until after she'd met with the Qunari first. Since the last war table mission takes so long (15hrs?) I skipped my clock ahead to finish it in a couple of seconds instead. [You can see where this is leading, yes?]

So, on to the Storm Coast. Jaega decided to tint her armor with dragonling scales since someone made off with her custom PJs. :o
Spoiler

Don't Jaega and Bull look so cute together? So, yes, I saved the Chargers once again. ^_^

While Bull dealt with the implications of being named Tal-Vashoth, Jaega went with Dorian back to Redcliffe. Ah, family!
Spoiler

She convinced him to talk things over with Halward. Then when they got back, she gave him crap for flirting with her so much when he wasn't the least bit interested. And told him to keep it up. :D

Spoiler

Next time she went to see Bull, he was being attacked by a couple of (very sorry) assassins. She tried to convince him that regardless of what they called him, he was still a good man. Not sure he was buying it, but she'll keep repeating it until he does.

The next time she went to talk with him, the "begin romance" scene finally triggered. And, I realized I still had the ugly default bed selected. So, I reloaded and went to Val Royeaux to buy a pretty bed (Free Marcher II) and tried again. Only to realize, I forgot to go to Undercroft to actually select the bed. <_< Doh! So I reloaded again, changed out the bed, then went to talk to Iron Bull for the third time.

So, uh, that was an interesting scene. Can't wait to see more but it might have to wait a while. Poor Bull....he gets bumped down the ladder so Olinar can romance Dorian, then gets put on hold so Olinar can play DLC with Dorian, and now he gets put on hold again so I can operate on my computer. Then again, Jaega might need that time to recover.....

Has anyone tried using a Shield on their Mages? It's hilariously funny! *No modding was involved*

Can you do that? I didn't think they could equip them?

Mini-update on Jaega:

I was finally able to do the "Playing With Fire" quest so I think one of the mods I was using was the culprit for it not working. The only issue this time was...dun dun dun...yep, a bear (and a pack of mabari) working their questus interruptus mayhem.

Jaega is now in Crestwood and about to enter the flooded caves. She's got a bad feeling about that mayor guy. He's hiding something, for sure, but she can't worry about that just now. She's got an underwater rift to find and close.

As for my computer issues....the problem was not the power supply, or the video card. It was me. A loose cable on the back of my monitor. Oy vey....so much time spent on this and that turned out to be the cause. <_<

Apparently, Shields are glitched in a particular way If you craft a shield using Silverite, the game thinks it's an armor and it will take off the Warrior Restriction allowing it on anyone else. This does not change their classes, however. It's completely cosmetic, and the characters will still perform their class's fighting animations but they will deal no damage. For Mages, they do not shoot elements from their shield, but they can still perform their spells(probably not the spells that involve the element of their staffs). I don't know about Rogues though since they can change their fighting style.

I'm not sure it's a glitch, but a property of silverite. It's supposed to work that way --removing restrictions, i mean -- for armor anyway. Didn't know about shields, though. Cool. I guess It's weird because mages only have one weapon slot, sort of. Might be cool to have dagger and shield on a DW rogue. Hmm... I should load up Harold's game and check it out :P

Oh no! :P ... I sympathize. Couple weeks back, I thought I'd lost my internet connection, and of course it happened on a weekend, so couldn't get my provider to do anything. For two days I was playing around with settings and got nowhere. Turned out to be a loose wire from my router to my PC. D'oh!

Inquisitor Adaar just cleared the Emerald Graves for the most part and killed his fourth dragon there. He sealed all the rifts in the area, tracked down the red templars smuggling letters and now knows they are mining in Emprise Du Lion. He's preparing an Inquisition party to draw out Red Templar leader in the area as well as another group to help clear out the elven ruins.

He's also close to mastering Necromancy. He now knows all the spells (except the focus one) and just needs the upgrades.

He often feels unstoppable as a Necromancer mixed with lightning spells.

Okay, so I loaded up Harold's game. He's the only rogue I have with the facilities and the materials to craft a silverite shield. And so I present: Dual-Wielding Harold, resplendent in his newly-tinted Great Bear Hide and Plaidweave Armor, in the desert of the Forbidden Oasis, putting his newly crafted silverite shield and dual-bladed dagger through their paces. I ran around for awhile looking for a hyena to slice, but I couldn't find one  <_<  so I just had Harold perform some dual-wielding maneuvers all by himself. I thought about it later, and he may not do any damage with the shield as a weapon because they're not normally specced to do damage.

Spoiler

As you can see, he doesn't hold the shield properly strapped to his arm, but by its edge. Good thing his GF Cassandra is too busy being Divine to see that display :P

I do agree it is weird. I honestly haven't tried it on mages or rouges but i'll give it a spin. I know I have given just a shield to a warrior and it seems like they only use the shield and hardly the pre-equipped sword.

I did hit Chasimess a bit today after watching INSURGANT after I got off work.

Finnaly got what I needed to do there done. I busted the one fade portal I had issues with and beaten the Avaar leader. Was easy this time around. I am a bit bummed out about his axe (axe of the mountain father) being useless now since it seems like a good 2H axe for warriors and seems ideal for the Haven battle. However since I got it sometime after the haven battle I guess that's why it's useless now. oh well. I also sacked a few fade portals in WESTERN APPROACH which i also had issues with because of Terror spamage.

Chasim_74_zpsf0hsgamn.jpg

I also visited Dorian's dad.

Spoiler
I did kill one of Cassandras targets and had the conversation about meeting her ex boss Lucius. I told her I was uninterested to get hatemail points from her. I may actually do it a take his offer and see how that goes.

Mean time i'll start tossing some goats.

Yeah. i gave him the additional weapons and supplies. Frankly the whole giblet thing (inq: "giblet...that sounds right...i here by dub you now 'giblet'. you will be known throughout the land as giblet". Avaar leader: "giblet" *laughs* "such a pity for someone so stupid to defeat my son and resort to such childish name calling" *laughs*.) sounded stupid when I picked that choice with Vyre Dite (female human mage) and got crazy disapprovings. I reloaded after seeing that pick and picked something else. I haven't tried banishing but I think I may of had tried it and gotten about 50/50 depending on who I was gunning for. It seems like recruiting is the best choice for the judgement

Oh yeah, that's the Sulevin Blade. Totally agree it's one of the best in the game for that +42 Strength, and it looks badass too. I believe my dwarven 2H Warrior kept using that right through the end of the game (not including DLC)

Not sure, but I can load up Harold's game and find out for you. I'm curious to see what Cassie says to him as well, now that I know she doesn't charge right off to be Divine.

EDIT: Here you go...

Spoiler

Ah, much thanks, Spork!  :D

I love that everybody (including Cass!) talks about how punch-happy the new Divine is when it's her  :P

Revas has just been doing a few War Table missions and killing time - I don't want to complete this PT yet and we're getting close to the end  :crying: Now that I know I'll be able to keep him for any future DLC though, Revas is going to do those personal quests and judge Blackwall the way she judges everyone: send him to the Wardens! I just imagine she looks over to Josie every time she sits on that throne to make sure she can do that and the Wardens sighing exasperatedly every time they get someone else from the Inquisition. Allying with them was the best decision Revas ever made  :P

Sadly April is when all the good TV begins again.  Orphan Black, Outlander, Game of Thrones...  I will have less time to dedicate to the game come May because I will be gnawing my nails on the edge of my seat wondering who is going to die in GoT next.

Did they ever fix the HORRIBLE screen tears on the 360 which does not appear on the PS3? I think I saw a video of the Xbox 360 and DAMN! Those screen tears are more disturbing than me playing ME3 with mods at 15fps with V-sync off.
