I forgot to mention in my post that I did talk to Liliana and I think it was Dorian about Chasimess choosing to become a assassin. They compared my decision to the crows and Severen. i got a big kick out of Liliana on how she sees Chasimess as a potential underling and how her being a assassin now reminded her of Severen how Severen "wasn't that great of a assassin but had his charming good looks".

Ah, much thanks, Spork!  :D

I love that everybody (including Cass!) talks about how punch-happy the new Divine is when it's her  :P

Revas has just been doing a few War Table missions and killing time - I don't want to complete this PT yet and we're getting close to the end  :crying: Now that I know I'll be able to keep him for any future DLC though, Revas is going to do those personal quests and judge Blackwall the way she judges everyone: send him to the Wardens! I just imagine she looks over to Josie every time she sits on that throne to make sure she can do that and the Wardens sighing exasperatedly every time they get someone else from the Inquisition. Allying with them was the best decision Revas ever made  :P

Spoiler

For those of us that have to wait for the dlc, it looks like it will be available in May

http://forum.bioware.../#entry18896285

Well at least I got an idea on when it will be out. I was kind of hitting the panic button because I wanted to get the vampire DLC for SKYRIM for the PS 3 when i first saw the video and I had to wait a full year for it to be released for the PS 3. I was thinking BIOWARE would snub me too.

I think I can wait for it, but it seems disappointing that they even had to do that. One month? Really? I'm not on probation, Biovare!

Well I can wait. I got things worth while in April. Besides since I merely rented BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE (and returned it) I can hit up stuff or DAI until May.

Sadly April is when all the good TV begins again.  Orphan Black, Outlander, Game of Thrones...  I will have less time to dedicate to the game come May because I will be gnawing my nails on the edge of my seat wondering who is going to die in GoT next.

I do TV too. I am a bit curious about this OLYMPUS on SYFY which may be a good greek mythology show. I am still interested in GAME A THRONES. BTW I noticed the actor whole played Terian will be in the upcoming PIXELS movie due out this summer while the actress playing Danerus Tagerian/Kaleesie is playing Sarah Conner in the new TERMINATOR movie.

Did they ever fix the HORRIBLE screen tears on the 360 which does not appear on the PS3? I think I saw a video of the Xbox 360 and DAMN! Those screen tears are more disturbing than me playing ME3 with mods at 15fps with V-sync off.

Honestly since I play the 360 version it seems like a-lot graphic issues are noticeable. I know for the Andraste throne theme in Skyhold seems to take forever to load up after the game is finished. At least it seems like that one weird glitch where I fell down really really far when i entered Solas's room doesn't happen anymore. I am not a stickler for glitches. Any game these days no matter how "perfect" they may be I am bound to come across a glitch or something that would wtf me.

So I started a new elfy elf lass tonight, her name is Sulahna. She's first of clan Lavellan, super dalish, an ancient elvhen fangirl, a troublemaker, a bit weird and a bit of a drama queen. The keeper sent her to spy on the conclave because she thought her first needed to grow up. I'm curious as to how the roleplaying will work out.

Sulahna woke up in a sniffy dark cellar, chained and on her knees with a bunch of stupid shems pointing their swords at her (funny, I never noticed them before), and as if that wasn't enough her hand was glowing green. Why not red? Red would at least match the colour of her Vallaslin. Then Cass and Leli sort of start playing good cop bad cop with her, apparently something very bad has happened and everyone thinks she's responsible. Not cool. Tis probably because she's an elf. Figures. Those shems are all racist.

Spoiler

Cass showed her the breach. And told her it's killing her. Well, ****. So all Sulahna wants right now is a quick way out of this mess to save her pretty butt. Shem problems ain't her problems. But unfortunately at the moment it's her problem, too. The mark hurts. A lot.

Spoiler

Meeting Varric, Bianca and Brolas. Brolas grabbed her hand and shoved it in the rift. How rude.

Spoiler

They reach the forward camp where the stupid shems waste time arguing. Cass wants her to decide how to approach the breach, and Sulahna chooses the direct route to the temple. No time for mountain hiking when her precious life is on the line.

At another small rift they meet Commander Cullen. He's handsome. For a shem.
The temple is a grizzly place. Even shems don't deserve such a fate.

Spoiler

Sulahna finds out that she was in fact present when **** hit the fan. Sadly she can't seem to remember anything.
Whatever, let's get this over with so she can return to her clan.
She wakes up in a shack and is told that she saved everyone and more importantly her mark stopped growing. Good. She helped the shems so they will have to let her go now and she can finally head back home. She's had enough of this bullshite.

Oh no! :P ... I sympathize. Couple weeks back, I thought I'd lost my internet connection, and of course it happened on a weekend, so couldn't get my provider to do anything. For two days I was playing around with settings and got nowhere. Turned out to be a loose wire from my router to my PC. D'oh!

Well, at least it only took you 2 days to figure it out....it took me  a lot longer than that. Nothing like feeling like a total idiot. Until it finally dawned on me: OMG...no more sparkles!! :D :D :D Now I can see what Hissing Wastes look like without the sky being a sickly green color. I can't wait!

Okay, so I loaded up Harold's game. He's the only rogue I have with the facilities and the materials to craft a silverite shield. And so I present: Dual-Wielding Harold, resplendent in his newly-tinted Great Bear Hide and Plaidweave Armor, in the desert of the Forbidden Oasis, putting his newly crafted silverite shield and dual-bladed dagger through their paces. I ran around for awhile looking for a hyena to slice, but I couldn't find one  <_<  so I just had Harold perform some dual-wielding maneuvers all by himself. I thought about it later, and he may not do any damage with the shield as a weapon because they're not normally specced to do damage.

Spoiler

As you can see, he doesn't hold the shield properly strapped to his arm, but by its edge. Good thing his GF Cassandra is too busy being Divine to see that display :P

LOL...so this is how he spends his days now that Cass is no longer around to keep him occupied?

Went through the elven ruins in the Emerald Graves and gave the account at Red Crossing to the Dalish. Inquisitor Adaar simply does not trust the Chantry any more than he trusts the Qunari.

He then fought a duel with Lord Ortranto for Josephine's affections, injured him, then pronounced his love for her in the middle of Val Royeaux.

It's sort of like watching Fezzik the Giant wooing Princess Buttercup.

Today in Inquisition!

Revas finally got around to dealing with her crew. Feels a bit like she's their personal counselor/therapist, but she's grown fond of these weirdos so she helped.

Josie romance spoilers ahead, ye have been warned!

Spoiler

With such a fantastic start to the day, surely nothing else could bring Revas down, right?

Deciding that it's probably more good news, Revas follows up with Cullen, who has found Samson's lair. The group headed off to deal with that next.

Spoiler

Samson was gone, but they found the Tranquil working with him: Maddox. He poisoned himself...and it was for nothing. The group still found his tools and Dagna was able to make a rune that would render Samson powerless. Revas felt bad for Maddox (and suggested giving him a proper funeral), but would like to render her enemies powerless more often, so she'll consider it a victory.

Leliana's personal quest was next. Or: In which BSN user Nightingale is terrible at getting screenshots of her namesake:

Spoiler

Ahem. After searching around for clues from the message Justinia left for Leliana, they were led to a hidden alcove thing with a fancy-looking box sitting in it. Revas thought it was pretty. Anyway, Leliana turned on the Sister that had been following them around "helping" search. Revas was pretty smug ("Good old Leliana's been playing you all along.") but when Leliana went to kill her, Revas stopped the Spymaster. Normally she'd just let it happen, but there's something about Leliana doing this here, to someone she may have once considered a friend, that just doesn't sit well with Inky.

Spoiler

The Sister wisely runs for it, and they turn their attention back to the pretty box. Which turns out to be empty. Revas tells Leliana it's not nothing, and Leliana notices the inscription saying the "Left Hand should lay down her burden." Revas starts singing Let It Go tells her to move on and Leliana seems...lighter, somehow, when she walks away. They return to Skyhold, where Leliana is terrifying a messenger by doing an impression of Josie ("Niceness before knives, Leliana, haven't I always told you?") and she does indeed seem happier. Revas hopes this is what the HoF wanted when she wrote that letter to Revas about Leliana.

Three for three, on a streak with fixing their problems! Cole next!

Revas finally handed the amulet she's been dragging around for about the last 40 hours (no, really, this is my longest playthrough already  ), only to find out it doesn't work. Solas and Varric argue about what to do now and Revas may or may not be agreeing with Varric just because they're friends and the egg is annoying...Anyway, they find out what the problem was: the templar that killed the real Cole, the reason the spirit of compassion that is now Cole is here to begin with. Varric wanted to help him grow as a person but Solas wanted him to just forget and move on, like nothing happened. One of these days, there's going to be a simple choice for Revas, like if she wants pancakes or waffles for breakfast, and the world won't end if she chooses wrong. One of these days. In the meantime, she agrees with Varric. He wanted to be a person, let him be one. Besides, it's what she'd want if she were Cole. Probably. Maker, she hopes she made the right decision.

Spoiler

Back at Skyhold, Cole's still in a lot of pain. He looks to Revas - because she's the boss and this was a terrible idea, why did Cassandra want this? - and asks when it stops hurting. She tells him that if he ever figures it out, do share it with her. Varric is more helpful, leading him away to deal with it like a person. Solas disapproves - what else is new - but accepts it nonetheless. Revas visits Cole and takes him out for a bit of a break. They have a nice little conversation in which they're both uncomfortable because everyone can see him and Revas hates Orlesian food. He then explains about Rhys and the original Cole and Revas tells him he doesn't have to talk about it if he doesn't want to. He smiles and thanks her ("You watch me walk into darkness again and again and you always worry. Thank you.") and says he think he'll like being more human. And I like that he's so much easier to get screenies of! I mean, look at this cute lil' ghost spirit boy!

Spoiler

He seems to be excited for what he'll learn next. Another victory! Let's go talk to Blackwall!

This was a terrible idea! Her streak of making people happy is over, it seems. Blackwall's a dark, gloomy person, he is. They get drinks and he tells her about this dog that some urchins killed, that he didn't stop. Then the jerk just up and disappears! They track him to Val Royeaux where he interrupts an execution and reveals who he truly is. Then gets himself thrown into prison.

Spoiler

He tells Revas about what happened and Revas is a bit angry but still tries to help. Things were never the same with Eirin (and she let him have his freedom), but Revas is a bit more understanding. She meets Cullen on the way out, where he tells her even Leliana has a bit of a blind spot for Wardens (gosh, I wonder why  ) but tells her they can get Blackwall out if she orders it. She does. They return to Skyhold where Revas uses her shady connections to get him released to them. She then judges him - he's not happy about her methods, but she saved his life and nobody will remember this so get over it mate - and she tells him that when it's all over, he'll become a true Warden. Until they come for him, he can continue to serve the Inquisition.

So. Four out of Five? Five out of five, since nobody died?  Eh, it was a productive day for Revas, either way!

LOL...so this is how he spends his days now that Cass is no longer around to keep him occupied?

Indeed! :P ...some in the Inquisition are beginning to express concern. In an effort to keep Varric from including a "From Herald to Shield-Dancer or How The Divine Broke the Inquisitor's Heart" chapter in his new book, Cullen and Josephine are planning to send the two of them -- and Vivienne, who is Uncharacteristically short-tempered ( ) with everyone since failing to become Divine herself -- out to help scout Harding with something she's been investigating... I'm already thinking ahead to my next game. I think I will try the Cass romance, but I'm worried that whatever male pc I create is going to get distracted by Dorian before Cass figures out he likes her.

Spoiler

It was all very romantic; there was a foot pop and everything. They went back to Skyhold to cuddle after that. Revas is usually terrible with words, but she somehow manages to make Josephine happy so she's happy.

So much Josephine romancing, I love it! She's so adorable!

Okay, I just installed Origins and made my Dwarf. The controls are EVERYWHERE!!! I play at 60fps with no Anti-Aliasing, and then at 2x I play at 40fps. Max AA, I get 25fps. :S The whole control set up is just too much to deal with, and lol, you can strip them of their clothes. I'm kind of disappointed that the Warden does not talk in dialogues--well at least to my experience at the moment. The voice options though---woof. I could only imagine how my Dwarfquisitor could have been with those voice options. Whisper to my ear, yeah?

I heard that in the biotic attacker's voice from ME1, "Controls EVERYWHERE! " :P ... the Warden is not voiced in dialogues, nope. There is actually a silent voice set mod out there (nexus mods maybe?) that you may be happy to install after a couple of hours of getting feedback from the warden every time you click on something

I'm looking forward to grabbin' the Toolset, although, original BSN requires a registration key which I cannot find therefore I looked for another thread on BSN that contained a direct download thanks to a moderator's post. :)

EDIT: That's too bad for me then. I was hopin' that I could listen to the sexy voice of my dwarf warden. :'( His avatar looks hilarious too since I customized it to look hilarious. Not too fond of the braided beards though.

So after playing through the new DLC with my first inquisitor, the indestructible knight-enchanter Maharie Lavellan ^_^ , I've kinda gotten my fill of playing a mage, and an elf since I can't imagine Alix Wilton Regan's voice on any other elf inquisitor but my first one heh. I'm putting the magequisition on hold for the time being, and have switched gears to my DW rogue Adaar. Just before I created her, I had no real desire to ever play a qun'ari inquisitor, but now that I've played her for a bit, and gotten into a few fights and enjoyed looking wayyyyy down on everyone she talks to, I'm glad I decided to go this way for my next PT. Whenever it comes time to pick a dialogue option, I ask myself, "what would Sten do?"

So far, other than a few "slightly disapproves" from just about everyone  , it hasn't been too dire, and quite a lot of fun. I have a feeling that it's all going to catch up with her eventually, but for now Kubrie Adaar will remain true to herself no matter how much all these elves, dwarves, humans, and chantry clerks don't like it.

Introducing Kubrie Adaar, about to kill a demon on her way to the Temple of Sacred Ashes. Sidenote: Cassandra doesn't know she has these daggers yet!

Spoiler

And, sometime later, here she is outfitted in her snazzy hew nugskin coat, making her best effort at a smile after reminding Cassandra she is not the Herald of Andraste. It's her first attempt at a smile, so.... uh, maybe she'll get better at it?

Spoiler

Anyway, Kubrie has just arrived in the Hinterlands with Cassandra, Varric and Solas. officially we're on the trail of a Chantry cleric named Mother Giselle, but who knows what we'll find once we leave camp?
