This always makes me giggle whenever I'm in the fade:

I found a Jade Empire reference!
I went and talked to Cole in his little Hide-a-way in the tavern and what he said had me laughing my head off because I wasn't expecting a Jade Empire reference.
I'm going to put it in spoilers because the reference actually spoils a huge part of the plot of Jade Empire if you aren't familiar with the plot or haven't played the game and recognize the reference.
Finished Bloodborne, so it's back to DA:I! Just forced myself into visiting the Forbidden Oasis to collect shards - if not for the shard collecting being horribly painful in this area, the waterfalls and the oasis would be lovely. ![]()

As I said in my previous post, having facial hair for my male Inquisitor blinds me so I had to resort to the peach fuzz option.
There isn't much difference in dialogue from playing as a male to playing as a female. I chose the english voice. It isn't bad.
In this playthrough I sided with the mages and made them partners. Saved Alexius and met King Alistair.
My party now for the rest of the game will be Cass, Sera and Dorian. I'm an archer.
After getting to Skyhold, I went straight to the Hissing Wastes and did the Tomb of Fairel quest to get all the goodies. I also went to the vendor and bought the Sturdy Prowler armor. I crafted a new bow for myself and Sera, a new weapon for Cass and armor for Sera and myself. Its cool seeing Sera and I with a level 22 weapon and level 21 armor and were only at level 12.
I went to Emprise du Lion to gather materials and to get to the Cradle of Sulevin. At the Cradle, I just fought a couple spiders and farmed schematics. I got the First Enchanter Staff schematic. Why I mentioned this? When I captured Sulevin's keep, the vendor was not selling that schematic since I already acquired earlier. Back to the Cradle and got a lot more tier 3 schematics
Once everyone had the best armor and weapons, I went and recruited Blackwall. Just a heads up for people. If you recruit Blackwall after Skyhold he and the Inquisitor will have different dialogue. I brought Varric and Cassandra and they both had dialogue when meeting Blackwall. I actually like the dialogue and if I do anymore playthroughs, I will recruit him after Skyhold. When first talking with him after he gets to Skyhold, his first couple lines dialogue is slightly different.
Right now I'm going after Samson and once that's done, I might go meet Hawke or save the Empress. I will decide later today

Benjamin did this and I felt so bad afterwards. Lol. I think this is the only time that every single companion will dissaprove of a choice...and I think it was a matter of I didn't like any of the choices...so I went with that one. And that happened. I felt bad. Especially when I found out what you could do instead.
I executed her on my previous PT. Profiting from someone else's mistakes is taking the moral high ground.
Human inquisitors get special options for dealing with her and others.
Fixed.
Dwarves, Elves, and Tal-Vashoth who profess a belief in the Maker cannot seize Mistress Poulin's assets in the name of House Trevelyan.

That too. Humans get their own options (like that one), but Andrastians do get a couple extra options, regardless of race.
This always makes me giggle whenever I'm in the fade:
I never noticed it, because I don't use the Tactical Camera very much.

All of them have names - Corruption, Poverty, Mages, the Harrowing etc etc... But Ironically, Spiders just about the last one you will come across. ![]()
I've actually begun to tac cam more after playing on nightmare. Even this game which is not nightmare, I find it comes in handy sometimes! I will say that I've always used tac cam to mouse over enemies. I like to know what I am up against and if I can exploit any weakness they may have.

First thing I had to do was judge Servius from the ungodly glitchy "TROUBLE WITH DARKSPAWN" mission.

I really wanted to do other stuff like talk to Solas and Varric and other stuff but every single time I tried to do stuff GAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEE CRAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! So I had no other choice but to judge Servius (aquired agent).
Then i completed "HERE LIES THE ABYSS"
Funny thing about this was...I BEAT THIS WHOLE THING ON ONE TRY ON NIGHTMARE DIFFICULTY! Holly bloody heck. Lol. On my first playthrough (Amolla Vollsa on easy) it took me multiple tries which was understandable since I didn't know what to expect. for Vyre Dite and Draven Vollsa who were both on normal it took me multiple tries as well. However for Chasimess Winters it took me ONE BLOODY TRY on the GAMES HARDEST DIFFICULTY SETTING! Lol. When I got back I had a few things to do:

I celled the first judgement while Ruth I forgave her for her actions. I know I lost some points with that and getting the wardens with Solas but again since my Moonphase Demoir playthrough on DAO/DAA where I did thinks like shagging the elf guy then tell the elf girl the truth which broke them up then had them killed by siding with the werewolves in the dalish storyline and burning Amarathine to the ground the "demoir" storyline is bound to be full of unpopular decisions even though Lightwind was quite tame where I made a-lot of popular decisions.
I had a crap ton of people to talk to too.

The Inquisitor's work is never done in SKYHOLD. Lol.
Spoiler
The "part of his Glorious Strategy" part seems like a hint for
Plus it's such a big plot point, which fits Cole's other comments. Like "he was dead all along" for the Sixth Sense.
We stopped at the Hissing Wastes today, since a whole lot of nothing has been done there so far. Went round discovering tombs of... Fairel (? I can never remember the name!). Got to indulge in Trev's third favourite activity:
Who doesn't love leaping off high places when they're basically invulnerable? ![]()
There was something a little creepy in one of the tombs thrones though. Is it just me, or is there a dwarf coming out of a broken vase?
Maybe it's an egg? Or a big rock? Perhaps Sigrun wasn't lying about dwarves really being born from the stone. ![]()
It was then onto much sunnier places to get burned alive by a dragon. I reallly love this shot. Trev's just like a tour guide or something.
"And just behind me, you'll see the famed glowy-eyed Abyssal dragon. Careful not to singe your hair." ![]()
Sadly, no one listened to his wise words (even Trev himself), so everyone caught fire at some point. Then ran around alight like fools. Have you never heard of "stop, drop and roll" people? It's not just what Bull does to casks. ![]()
Trev then had to confront a talking slug. The pretty people have come for you and your hairy face, Erimond. And they aren't happy.
Oh wow does Dorian ever look brightly coloured back there.
I really like the gold cloth. But sometimes it's a bit... much. Especially combined with turquoise. Let it never be said that Dorian doesn't like to draw attention. Alistair has definitely gained a level in pretty since DAO. But then, so has everyone! Even Loghain's not looking too bad. Hmm, I'll just have to picture what Zevran would've looked like. Damn fine, I'll bet. ![]()
Trev collected his date items for Cassandra, including some flowers from a very helpful elf in Val Royeaux. He set everything up in a little grove, and then invited Cass to come meet him there. The results were frigging adorable and hilarious. I can't stop grinning, and you know that's a good sign! (Romance spoilers!)
Awww!
I have learned two things about them now:
1) Cassandra knows all the lines to sappy romance poems!
2) Trev is a large ham when acting out aforementioned romance poems!
Oh man, it's too cute. He told Cassandra he loved her, which signalled round two of the night time shenanigans. Hopefully no catastrophes have happened at Skyhold in their absence. ![]()
I'm feeling lazy so here is Jaega's night at the ball, in pictures:
Next stop is the War Room meeting that gets hijacked by Morrigan, then to the Hissing Wastes for more sand in the trousers (and T3 schematics). Maybe a quick swing through the Storm Coast for a rematch with Vinsomer. ![]()
I've been really busy today.
I killed all ten high dragons, completely explored the dwarven tombs in the Hissing Wastes, found every single shard and opened up all the doors in the Forbidden Oasis temple. Was expecting more in that last room than a pride demon and a casket that provides electricity resistance.
And I finally started the DLC today.
OMG BraveVesperia - I can't believe you ruined the Sixth Sense for me! Where is your spoiler tag?!?!?! Fine, you want to play it like that: Rosebud is a sled, Charlton Heston was on earth the whole time, and Darth Vader is Luke's father! Muahahahahaha (mine is an evil laugh) ![]()

You forgot Snap killed Dumbledore.

Finished the quest that involved Samson's armor. Even Cullen joined the quest. The quest wasn't bad.
Went around gaining more influence and power points.
Did Dorian's personnel quest
Still working on romancing Cassandra.
I decided to go to Crestwood and meet Hawke. How's it going Stroud? I remember you leaving Kirkwall as the Qunari were trying to take over the city. You owe me.
I'm near level 19 with a lot left to do.
On my second try at the Dragon Hunter Challenge: How low can you go?. Just completed talking to Fiona at Redcliffe Village.
Trimmed a ton of XP from the Hinterlands by leaving the apostate HQ alone and skipping a couple of rifts that I had closed in the first run. Instead of siding with the mages, which got me no agents, I will side with the Templars so I can get Barris. This also means I can skip the "help the cold and hungry" quests that I had to do to get Vale's Irregulars as a Forces agent, saving more XP.
It's costing me in terms of Influence, though. On the first run, my Inquistion was level 4 by the time I opened Redcliffe Village. In this run, it's not quite level 3 yet. I'm going to be suffering in the perks department unless I do some requisitions soon.
So far, been rolling lucky on the RNG. I got a Witherstalk in the very first sack I looked in at Haven, but then my game crashed before I could save.
But I got another one not too long after. In my first run, the only reason I opened the Oasis area was to get a Witherstalk, so I could upgrade the fire tonic needed for the first dragon. Finding Witherstalk in a sack saves me 4 power.
