I wrote and posted a new chapter today.
Enjoy:)
Spork, your avatar! Oh my nug, that is marvellous! ![]()
Okay this is slight off-topic but
Spork, eye see that you changed your avatar to a fork (
I hope it is the game I'm thinking of or that pun fell flat).
Is it from Tales from the Borderlands?
Tales from the Borderlands pun definitely gets a like! ![]()

Yes. Yes it is.
And excellent pun, under the circumstances. I guess you got the scoop.
Watch out for those heat seeking rocks from the giant.
I like the avatar. Very fitting
Thanks, Mike.
From literally millions hundreds dozens okay, like six good pics, I seem to have chosen ...wisely.

I thought you might like it. What a great scene that was! I loved it.
I've never completed Blackwall's companion arc, so I'm working on that in my Rift Mage play through today.
I'm also going to start a solo Knight-Enchanter play through, I think. I usually don't play solo because I like party banter, but I must still have the party-banter bug because my companions are always quiet.
Got all wet in Storm Coast today while recruiting Iron Bull.
Kill stole a giant from a giant dragon who was happy to let me get the xp and loot and not eating me.
Learned that I can use barrier to absorb fall damage. I bet my horse is relieved she doesn't have to be my cushion any more
That happened to me too except the giant's lootable corpse teleported to my feet when I was watching the fight from a tall mountain. Lucky break for me to be honest since I have been playing Chasimess on NIGHTMARE and giants have been tough cookies to bring down.
I'm at the exact same place in my game; just heading for the Blades of Hessarian's fortress to deal with their boss and steal all his guys for the Inquisition. Anyway, waited for the dragon to fly away before taking on the giant. Totally not fair that it dropped two rocks on Kubrie's head during the fight.
.... and it's good to see you back playing the game
Quick question Sporkfu....did you build the AMULET OF MERCY or whatever to only deal with the boss? It seems you can only get the Blades of Hessessians if you equip the AMULET OF MERCY then waltz into their base to fight the boss.
BTW i did that for Chasimess and the guy was a tad bit of a pain because the dogs have high HP and high defence while the boss is the suck but can be a pickle if you put your eggs on the dogs.

I wonder myself. Every single time i see Sporkfu's name I keep thinking about the whole "You spoony bard" line from FINAL FANTASY 4.

I did craft Mercy's Crest, yep. The only time I didn't craft it was in my first game. My little elf mage charged headlong into battle because she thought it would make the inquisition look bad if she returned to camp when there were bad guys to be killed... okay, in truth I didn't know until afterwards that I could have recruited the Blades instead of fighting them all, so I didn't think it'd matter if I didn't craft the amulet. Of course every time I returned to the Storm Coast after that, I had more Blades to fight. ![]()
No idea if this counts but I ordered myself the Modern Age Inquisitor Hoody today. Thought the shipping price would be the same as the one I had to pay for my exclusive edition volume 2 of thedas pre-order, but thankfully it was alot cheaper.
But in Inquisition news, I just reached Crestwood on my first ever Nightmare run. I still feel guilty because I had to cheese my way through In Your Heart Shall Burn by getting to the point where the boss drops, running up the hill then all the way back round to the trebuchet.
Also killed the Hinterlands dragon today. Cheesed as well, ran to where the Landmark was, got my other companions out of view, then just held down R until the Dragon died!
I promise no more cheesing.
Also in the short time of being at Skyhold, Allanon Trevelyan has confessed his feelings for Josephine, and they are now romantically involved. After destroying the contract on her life, and finding a boat with the original -something- of her Family, they are well and truly happily. However, Allanon feels something else may be coming, I mean, you can't just destroy a contract on someones life, and expect things to be good from there on? Nope, there's always something else. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

Same here. However for Amolla Vollsa's case it's one of her cases where she's just dumb. Like for an example:
Dorian: "So is the reason why you're here father is to continue yelling about me for the fact that I prefer the company of men?"
Amolla: "What do you mean by the 'company of men'?"
Dorian: "What do you mean? You don't understand what I mean by 'the company of men'?"
Amolla: "No. Not at all."
Dorian: *Sigh*. "It just means i am more romantically interested in men then i do women."
Amolla: "Ahhhh."
She was a bit of a dimwit when it came to phrases which made her a good first playthrough but like you I didn't know about getting the blade of hessessins until my second playthrough Vyre Dite. I did understand the information given to me while playing as Amolla but I think I just lacked the materials, killed the group then made the amulet and was like "what was the point of this? I can't remember". Since then now I know.

NIIIIIIIIIIICE!!! Even to the hoody!
"The cold walk."
"I'll do it for the greater good that is myself."
Nice!
I think we need to add some community-inspired options for accepting the Inquisitorship. Like:
I'll do it for the loot. (rogue)
I'll do it for the lulz. (DA:2 humorous dialog/personality style)
I'll do it for romance. (let's face it, all)
I'll do it to get this over with quickly, it's cold out here!
Nice!

Or I'll do it because none of you clowns have the guts to lead and I want the spoils for myself. Hahahahaha
I'll do it, because I have to do everything around here. (My mom)
I do it for all of us...well, not the Dalish (what have they ever done for me), or the mages (can't trust 'em), certainly not Orlais, or Tevinter, or the Qunari. Hmmmm...*looks at LI*, I do it for the booty!

I'm sitting here trying to come up with my own reasons for my inquisitors to lead the inquisition, and this exact thing went through my mind: I'll do it for everyone... well, not the Dalish, or the 'vints, or the chantry, or even because of the giant hole in the sky... Nope, I'll do it for the fun (Lavellan), the romance (Trevelyan), the beard (Cadash). ![]()
Truth is, though, I'll do it for the chance to fight dragons.

Yep. You've seen my ME playthroughs.
Hahahahahaha

Indeed
Your sheps have got to be the most feared people in the galaxy.
Happened to trigger a funny banter yesterday between Iron Bull and Cassandra. I don't know if it is from the DLC or just one I never heard before since I didn't take Bull with me much until this run.
So, they're walking along and Bull asks if Cass thinks Cullen would let him borrow a trebuchet. Cass wonders why in the world he would need to do this. He says that Krem has a fondness for sewing and stitched together a stuffed nug. Bull wanted to see how far it would fly.
Cass says that this is not really a proper use of Inquisition resources. Bull replies (paraphrase), "That's why you're not in charge of morale." ![]()

You're in for a treat. That's standard game banter. Iron Bull x Cass has some of my favorites. Iron Bull x Cass x Dorian, when one or more are in or were in a romance with the IQ, even better.
An Iron Bull gem, one of many: "There you go again, Seeker. Getting an eye full of Inquisibutt."
Just started another playthrough
Cleopatra Trevelyan
rogue
dual daggers
So far using daggers is ok. Even at a low level, I can do a lot of damage.
Made it to Haven. I will continue later
Was that Party Banter bug ever fixed? I read the patch noted and on Patch 3 it said something about party banter being "less random." Not sure what the heck that means. It's no surprise for Bioware to not patch the most obvious bugs. ME3 for PS3, for example.

It seems to be fixed on my end, on PC. Ever since patch 5 or 6. It is working but the timing between talks varies a lot.

Yeah, I've been roaming around and they seem to talk on a 20-30 minute interval. Whenever it's not like a dialogue you're intending to trigger, it really wastes time.
"Oh happy days."
Went on a little visit to the Hissing Wastes, and suddenly Cole goes: "I'm glad we helped these people." What?
Apparently killing random Venatori is good since they had captured some slaves. You should've warned me sooner, Cole. Damn ![]()
Proceeded to tell Cullen that I don't give a crap about his lyrium addiction. Do whatever you want as long as it doesn't interfere with my inquisition.
Kubrie wrapped things up on the Storm Coast today... well, as much as possible before advancing the story a bit. She recruited the Blades of Hessarian, closed a few rifts, found an astrarium cave, and a baker's dozen shards. She killed some demons, some deep stalkers, some spiders, a few mabari, and even a couple of bears. Once the Blades are recruited, though, there isn't a great deal of fighting to do there (until later). Oh, also slayed a half dozen or so dragonlings on the way to one of those astrariums too. Bet Momma will be unhappy about that someday
Recruited the Bull, which is the reason we went out there in the first place. This romance is going to be tough, because in three PTs I have never been able to see Bull as someone to be romanced. He's an unfailingly loyal friend with a mostly positive outlook, who enjoys a good fight and good **** cask afterwards, and never gets down about anything for long -- or so I assume. I haven't sacrificed the chargers yet. But a LI? I just can't imagine Kubrie finding anything attractive about his man-boobs and his tiny head.
Trouble is I've bypassed a couple early flirty dialogues already with both Sera and Josie, and so who does that leave? Cullen, Dorian and Solas are out of the running, as is Cassie. That leaves Blackwall, and I just finished his romance PT.
Sigh.
Oh well. I haven't even spoken to Bull in Haven yet. Maybe I'm condemning him too quickly.
