Part 3, JoH spoilers.

So it all came down to another dragon fight. That didn't seem like it would be too hard, given what Jaega and her team had already accomplished. But first, they had to find Hakkon. That turned out to be pretty easy as well...they just had to follow the ice trail. Ironically, Hakkon was a tougher fight this time around. He hit Jaega with 4 or 5 consecutive ice ball blasts while she was trying to revive Dorian, despite the fact both Bull and Cass were attacking him at the time. He also summoned deepstalker babies to help, which I didn't remember him doing before so I was kind of surprised. At least he had the decency to actually die the first time Jaega killed him though.
I love veil quartz. I headcanon that since you need veil fire to find the deposits, that it kind of acts like a camouflage/stealth material in the armor, making you harder to see. Not sure what the big elfroot secret is all about though. Anyone??
Back at the Hold.....
As Bull says, this is why Cass isn't in charge of morale. She just doesn't appreciate a good (bad?) bear pun.

Jaega still has a couple of things left to do in the Frostback Basin (find the Nox Morta and the last "Mysteries" codex) if she can get back there. My map has developed a glitch so that the Basin icon isn't active for some reason. I go back a save or two and it's fine but at some point it turns itself off. Le sigh.
