[Precursor Meta]

For my fifth playthrough, I made a black female Dalish elf and named her Sista Soulja.

I am trying to finish the last few collections before I finish the game. I was excited and all that as I am almost done when...

 

1.)  All mosaic works that i have.... I am always missing one.

2.)  Almost completed Dwarf pages from Hissing Wastes.... also missing one.

3.)  Trying to find my final Elven Artifacts.

 

The problem is I can't remember everything that I am missing... so I said "calm down and just complete the dragons instead". So there I go dragon hunting, on to my last dragon (made sure he is the last one) then as I hit the killing blow expecting a ding from origin for an achievement. I got nothing... nada. Stared at my screen for a few seconds then breath.  I went back to skyhold... went straight in to end the game and killed Corypheus w/ my frustration saw the after credits scene and I was left staring at it again for the 2nd time of the day. Only reaction "Bioware....why are you doing this to me?! why?!!!" *silent whimper*

A quick note before bed;

 

I just updated Geforce Experience, and noticed Inquisition was now in my Games list. I went to see what the programme suggests my optimized game settings should be...

 

It is recommending that:

 

Spoiler

- My Multisample Anti-Aliasing should be 4x

- Post-process quality set to Ultra

- Tessellation Quality set to Ultra

- Texture from Fade-touched to Ultra

 

I'm not sure if this programme wants to bury my computer, or if I should give it a shot lol.

3GB Superclocked 780 ti

8GB Ram

When you are fighting the red templars in Haven - there is that man in the burning house. Try the door to get him out and it is obstructed. Is there any way to get him out or is he an object lesson in sacrificing one to save more? Would like to save him anyway.

I always use the warrior in my party to hit the door til it breaks open.

Right next to the house there should be a ladder you climb up and a platform you can use to jump over and into the house through the roof. Then you open the door from the inside. I let him burn since all he doe's is ****** at you because he got demoted.

I wonder what would happen if I told Cassandra that she and Varric bickered like an old married couple? She couldn't kill me because they need me to close the breach. But then there's always after . . . perhaps discretion ...?

On my second playthrough and trying to convince my Lavellan mage to romance Cullen as planned instead of Solas again.  I don't think it's working, she's too nice to believe me when I tell her it will end in heartbreak.

Also I completed a few treasure maps, and I'm starting to get the knack for finding them all and seeing how many of them give good loot. It's a good thing I have the Game Guide, my canon character in my 3rd playthrough will be a completionist!

 

Appaloosas? Cool.

 

I figure if I do my playthrough the way I did Skyrim, I'll have most everything done before I even touch the main quest. However, I guess that Bioware designed the game so that you have to advance the MQ to open areas.

Flirted with Solas a bit in Haven (he apparently likes my muscles...which are pretty non-existent, Solas, but glad you're into elven women).  Went to see what was up in Val Royeaux, recruited Sera and Vivienne and Iron Bull.  Really want to side with the Templars again but no, I should see what the Mage path is like.  I'm really sad that I'm essentially sentencing Ser Barris to death

 

And I traipsed around the Hinterlands, doing horse races, fighting apostates, closing rifts and killing bandits.  Also found Mihris, just realized she was the annoying elf in The Masked Empire!

I was thinking the exact same thing the other day. Didn't say a word to either of them.....

I finally sealed the deal with Cullen, if ya know what I mean.

 

I also killed 3+ (I don't remember) great bears in Emerald Graves. Also accidentally sold Iron Bull's, Sera's, and Dorian's armor. All in all, good day.

My little elf mage's journey has come to an end, one hundred and seventy-two hours (and one minute) after it began... with many little things left unfinished. I'm a little bit annoyed with myself that I only completed one mosaic tile set... and there's that last handful of requisitions, and an absolute mountain of war table operations that I ran out of time to complete. Everyone in Thedas will be saying, "sure, the Inquisitor defeated Corphy-whats-his-name, and yeah she closed that hole in the sky, and let's not forget about driving the dragons to extinction, but just look at all this stuff she's too important for. Spends too much time throwing her fancy Orlesian bed off the balcony with that bratty elf to remember us little people mutter mutter grumble."

 

Ahhh, she stood tall. She was brave. She took zero sh*t from anybody. Like me there were a lot of crazy happenings that she still has to ponder over, but I know she'll figure it all out, and there will be many pranks to play on Cullen in the meantime. I've played -- and replayed -- enough of these RPGs over the years to understand that it's never as good as the first time, and as I think about how I'm gonna craft my world state for the next playthrough, I realize I'm going to miss that little elf mage, and her awesome magical mastery, and her goofy, gollumy face. 

 

Damn, Bio. You made me care about these people and the world they live in -- that I helped shape -- but you've always been good at making me care, so if you read this, thank you for the great adventure. It was worth every moment of those 172 hours.   

 

Oh, and I'm ready for the next game... uhh, you know, whenever you get around to it.

 

And please, if I may make one small request... Cole's hat? Whaddaya say?

What is it with Cassandra's warhorn? Her armour's going to be pretty rank by the time she gets home. She doesn't sleep in it does she?
