Well things seem to have gone back to normal as far as my XBOX 360 version of DAI. I was able to make a good run with Malainos.

Malaioniss decided to converse with Cassandra about her thoughts on him recruiting the templars.

Cass_%2021_zpswlwk9qr6.jpg?t=1430642677

Malaioniss was shocked to see Cassandra in a good mood.

Mally_79_zpsuww9hssl.jpg?t=1430642681

However Cassandra (like Cullen was) was shocked to see how Malaioniss smiles.,,

So after the conversing U decided to go a little crazy with doing quests. I finished all of the astriums in Hinderlands and Storm Coast, all portals in Storm coast are gone, all portals in Forbbidden Oasis are gone, all shards in Forbidden Oasis are taken, second door to fire in Oasis temple has been opened, first doors to spirit and ice have been opened in Oasis temple, Blade off Hessessians have been obtained...

Spoiler

Dennet has been obtained, Corparal Vale has been obtained, Priestess smuggler has been obtained, found astriums treasure in Storm Coast and hinderlands, completed some WAR TABLE missions...

Spoiler

hit third beacon in the mire just to name a few.

I have actually been running this playthrough with Cole. I honestly never used Cole before. I usually use Sera. Cole seems to be not to bad but at times seems to be a bit suicidal since I made him a DWK.

I did find some fade touched stuff. I found the fade touched Iron in the Hinderlands here...

Ottomap_01_zpsk4zqc88s.jpg?t=1430642681

I found it in a cave where rams fun in and out of. There were a-lot of irons in here. I also found fade touched Serpentsone in Storm Coast here...

Ottomap_03_zpsjrddxtii.jpg?t=1430642681

It was IN a mountain. it was kind of hard to see but after my 'search' detected it i searched it and apparently grabbed it.

Specifically here and here for the shots...

Account on two different Inquisitors:

Janel Lavellan was looking around in her first fortress Skyhold, and went to meet Varric's "mysterious friend" who knew about Big Bad. Interesting enough, it seems that Varric was lying about  her class (since in tales she was rogue specialised in daggers, and person Janel met was sword-and-shield warrior). Yeah, it's odd bug since first Hawke imported correctly and nothing else in Keep-import in question was wrong. Don't even have any idea how to fix it besides restarting with fresh game & Keep-import (and I have played far too long to do that. Also, don't want to remake Lavellan anymore).

As for Sirid Adaar, she was delighted to notice that Skyhold has now it's own storage and place re-tint armors, and after that she went to hunt mosaic pieces (hurray for bug fixes!). ;)

Kubrie and the usual suspects -- Bull, Varric and Solas -- quested on the Fallow Mire today. Not much to report other than they successfully rescued some Inquisition troops from a big-mouthed, puffed-up, self-important Avvar upstart calling himself "The Hand of Korth". Have to admit that he could hit things rather hard when he wanted to, but in the end he suffered the same fate as everyone else who has opposed Kubrie so far B) -- at level eleven, she was overpowered for anything they met in the Mire, and I zipped through pretty quickly -- probably could have gone NM  -- while making sure to claim all the landmarks, and kill another upstart apostate mage, and pick up a mosaic tile for "Freed Are Slaves". Also found two more Grey Warden things for Blackwall, and Kubrie commented both times on how much the bearded one probably would've liked to be there. Well then he shouldn't have mocked Kubrie's mage-hunting prowess on the Storm Coast, should he? ...as it happens, she went to talk to him once they got back to Haven, and he even said how much he'd like to have been there, but he "greatly approved" anyway. She better start carrying a bucket of ice water with her whenever she goes to talk to him.

Varric, Solas and Bull must be getting bored with each other, because the only thing said the entire time we were there was, "when we get back I'm having a long hot bath" by Iron Bull. I knew I should've brought Dorian :P Anyway, Speaking of the mustachioed mage from Tevinter; upon Kubrie's return to Haven, the two had this exchange when discussing qun'ari and Tal-Vashoth and the differences between them:

Kubrie: I've considered splitting your head open.

Dorian: Oh?

Kubrie: I haven't decided yet.

Dorian: I'll thank my lucky stars then.

I laughed. Maybe it's a Qun'ari thing

So now everything that can be done before "In Your Heart Shall Burn" is done. Not going to go dragon-hunting in the Hinterlands until Kubrie and Bull can sit down at the bar of The Herald's Rest and get properly drunk in celebration B) Could go to the Forbidden Oasis, I suppose, but when i went there early (before Skyhold) in Dofni's game there were no enemies to fight, other than rift-demons and hyenas (and spiders). No wandering bandits or anything... so I'll wait.

These thrones look pretty cool, but that KIRKWALL THRONE is WAY over the top! The Hero of Ferelden deserves better!

That second throne does not even look comfortable.  WTF thought having a raised stone bit right where your butt goes would be comfortable?  Looks worse than the Iron Throne.

I'm playing a sarcastic mage. Every time dialogue pops up I chose the middle dialogue. I just finished Mark of the Assassin dlc in Act 1. I heard dialogue I never heard before that had me smiling a few times. Even in the Legacy dlc I heard dialogue I never heard before that had me smiling. I usually play the dlc's in Act 3.

Anyways, I'm getting ready to head to the deep roads with Varric's brother. I've done everything that can be done up to this point and I'm already past level 17.

Level 17??????
I don't think I reached that until late Act 2 or early Act 3. I must know your secrets for my next DA2 PT as a mage

Not sure what I can say. I just did everything that can be done that was available including the two dlc's. I do agree with you that I've got level 17 late in Act 2 before. Usually I'm at level 11 or 12 when I finish the expedition and not playing the two dlc's.

Wait, so is BE part of patch 7 or is it a separate dlc? I can't check myself right now, but I thought it wasn't going to be out until tomorrow.

Even as is, it's still gotta be more comfortable than this :P

Went to the deep roads where Varric's brother closed the door. Fought some rock looking things. Found some treasure. I'm rich. You're not. Hahaha.

My brother is a templar. We're enemies now. Hahaha

I am now at level 18 halfway to level 19 and will start Act 2 after finishing my ME3 playthrough

I see the 'stache is indeed very hard to resist, after all. Think of it this way, who would you rather anger if Markus is to have a chance of survival: the hot-headed lady templar or the not-magister-stop-saying-that from Tevinter? :P

Is this a trick question? ;)

Sigh.....I’m pretty sure if you look up “waffle” in the dictionary that you would find a picture of Marcus. I didn't have anywhere near this much difficulty with any of the game plot decisions. Why is this one so hard?!

I really do want to see the Cass romance but I think Marcus actually works better with Dorian soooooo……I’m going to stick with Cass for now and speed run through all the major events to get to the end. Then, I’ll make use of Alexius’ nifty time magic  and go back to Dorian for the regular speed with him.

That's my gameplay plan.

Headcanon-wise, it is much more angsty. :P Marcus flirts with Dorian and kinda feels there could be something there, but falls really hard for Cass. She is, he feels, the one. So, poetry, candles, dancing in the moonlight....whatever she wants, she gets. Then Adamant happens, and the Fade, and he learns what really happened at the temple. He learns that he caused the explosion. Not intentionally, of course, but the ball exploded when it was in his hands. He killed the Divine, he killed his sister, he destroyed the Chantry. Not true but belief is what matters here. And when they get back, when he looks at Cassandra, that is all he sees: that he destroyed everything she ever cared about. Again, not true. So, he leaves her and gets on with the mission. She is, of course, heartbroken but sees the pain he feels whenever he's around her, so lets him be. She knows he's close with Dorian, sees them spending time together (those 2 + Bull spending many off hours getting drunk off their keisters sounds about right) and maybe with a little nudge from Cole lets Dorian know she is ok with it if they end up together. I imagine her saying something like, "If he comes to you for comfort, I hope he finds it."

I'm pretty sure something like this isn't possible in-game, but even if it was, I would miss out on too much going from one romance to another after the major events have already happened.

Patch 7 notes are here:

http://forum.bioware.../#entry19079225

I found this one particularly interesting:
Fixed the issue where Deathroot appeared in the Nursery. The corresponding collection entry has also been updated to reflect that Deathroot is not counted towards it, and Deathroot seeds should no longer be found in the world.

Do you know how many deathroots I picked in my last game hoping for ONE STUPID SEED??!!

Went on a dragon-killing rampage last night and took out all three dragons in Emprise du Lion, plus the one I forgot about in the Storm Coast because I was busy doing stuff. Got a nice sword and equipped it on Blackwall before I noticed that the older, lower-level axe actually did more DPS than the shiny new sword, which was a pity because it went well with his current armor. Back to wielding an axe for my tank/sweetie (and yes, even after throwing in a master-level rune and a way better hilt, the axe was still superior :P ).

Heh, Marcus was so excited to have finally made a decision that after spending a romantic night in a candlelit grove with Cassandra, he totally forgot to put his armor back on until after the initial assault at Adamant.

@mel: That's kind of like when I kept forgetting to change into my adventuring gear at Halamshiral. During one painfully long fight, I wondered why I didn't seem to be doing as much damage as I normally did. After the fight was over, I checked my inventory and realized that my staff must have been unequipped again after I'd gone back into party mode (and when I say party mode, I mean partying and drinking punch while mingling with annoying Orlesian nobles)...oopsie!

After succesfully defeating the Big Bad, Sirid Adaar started on quest finding final restplace of last Inquisitor. While in Stone-Bear Hold, she happened to hear conversation between her lover Iron Bull and her good friend and future Divine Cassandra about loaning Cassandra's armor for Sirid to wear for "nightly activities". B)  Her first thought?

"There is no way that armor would even fit me! I am much bigger than her, for Maker's sake!".

She is pretty grateful for Cassandra's refusal, understably.
