What is it with Cassandra's warhorn? Her armour's going to be pretty rank by the time she gets home. She doesn't sleep in it does she?

I kinda felt like I had to finish up as much as possible in the Hinterlands before choosing between the mages and templars. So I wandered around and did everything and saved that rift for last, never realizing that I didn't have to play it that way.

Did some testing with the beta texture replacement tool being developed by modders. Tried to make black Skyhold jammies, got this amazing outfit:

I decided to crank the recommended settings to Ultra, turned Multisample Anti-Aliasing to 4x, left Texture Quality at Fade-touched, and went from Windowed Borderless to Full screen.

 

Game runs great!

So the Wardens are being manipulated by some magister-looking punk. And there's the Warden-Commander. And look. The fake Archdemon has decided to join the party as well. Too bad its ugly master isn't here to join us. I fight a few demons and start running after the Warden-Commander. Hey. Now that is cool. Fake Archdemon grabs Warden-Commander and spits her out like yesterday's leftovers. Hahaha. I will give you a thumbs up fake Archdemon. I was impressed.

 

What's this? The walkway is collapsing because now dead Warden-Commander used a spell on fake Archdemon. Crap. 

 

Look at that. I'm in the fade. Home Sweet Home. Not quite, but close enough. The Professor mumbles about stupid crap. I knew I shouldn't of brought him.

 

Well, well. Can I get a one more well? Well. Look who it is? The Divine herself or fake Divine. Whatever. It tells me I can get my memories back to explain what happened. Fine. WOW. So the Grey Watdens are responsible. Hawke is the first to give Stroud an earful. You go girl. Hahaha. We will deal with this later. 

 

So this is the Nightmare? You're joking right? Jason Vorrhees was more of a Nightmare than this, this whatever it thinks it is. Hahaha. So I use my bow, which I now call 'Hey Look Dumba**, You're on Candid Camera' and send an arrow through its whatever looking head. The nightmare is now a childrens story. Hahaha.

 

Stroud you have to stay. I like Hawke. She's better looking, she's got a nicer voice and because you're a Grey Warden. Hahaha. Now go out there and take one for the team. Hahahaha

 

Back at Adamant. I ban the Grey Wardens from Orlais. Hahahaha. So long Hawke. I have a feeling the two of us will meet again. Hahaha

I didn't bring Blackwall for this quest and was surprised he shows up when I didn't ally with the Grey Wardens. He says he like to stay. I was given a choice to keep him or get rid of him. I was surprised by this since this is the first time I didn't ally with the Wardens. I chose to get rid of him and sent him away with the other Wardens

 

Back at my House of Horrors, I judge the clown who used the Grey Wardens. Chop. Again. Chop. That felt good. I want to chop some more. Hahahaha. 

 

Next up was Ser Ruth. I will give her credit for giving herself up. I would like to make her a companion to replace Wallwhite, but she is a Warden. I don't want to kill her, so I exile her.

 

Tune in later, maybe later than that, for more adventures of Medusa. Her next adventure promises to be a triple XXX rating. Hahahaha

Today Inquisitor Anaya took Cole to Val Royeaux for drinks and a chat. He refused the cheese sadly. He seems to quite like being human
Killed 4th dragon, nearly killed the Exalted Plains dragon too but in hindsight should probably have visited when having some potions in stock.

Is that... Elmer the Patchwork Elephant? I had those books when I was little

 

I remember having one book on Elmer when I was little lol, and I had no idea why that was the first thing I thought of when I saw that glitched texture outfit. It's not like Elmer's regularly in my head! I don't even remember the last time I thought of Elmer. I had to type into google "multi coloured elephant" because I couldn't remember the actual name!

 

But anyway!

Gweln Lallvan finished up talking to Dangna, about how to destory Samson armour. And finnally, got to figure out how they really made the red lyruim, which were out of people. However, she has too do a few missions first to get his real mission for him to start and battle with him.

 Stuck at the Orlesian Ball. Can't open doors in the Royal Wing because I need one more Halla statuette. I collected 9/10. Only one left, but apparently they are not reusable or something because I cannot open the doors without this last one. Hate this quest. Hate it so much.

 

On the upside, I did find Imshael in my one completed career. Dead demon is dead.

After finishing my first playthrough, I tried making a dude inquisitor for fun. Without realizing it, I accidentally made him look like a tanned lip-glossed Chris Pine look-alike.

I was laughing so hard when I also forgot that I used the deeper inquisitor voice for it. It just doesn't suit him at all xD

Alas poor Hawke, I hardly knew ye. Well someone had to hold off the big spider thingy and I figured I needed Stroud more for running the Grey Wardens. And I may have shot down any chance I have with Solas by letting the Wardens remain in Orlais and making Erimond (I think) tranquil and sending the one despondent Grey Warden to the Deep Roads. But killing him seemed to much like something he wanted to happen. And I didn't trust the Grey Wardens enough to give him to them. And I don't see any use in making a statement by killing one Grey Warden who regretted her actions. So major disapproval from Solas resulted. We shall see if I've built up enough good will to overcome these setbacks.

 

Most of the reason I spared Stroud from the giant spider thing was that I had talked Clarel into turning against Erimond (OK having Blackwall at hand probably helped) and got the remaining Grey Wardens on my side. So it seemed like a waste to kill the one guy I actually trusted to lead them. Although the talk with Varric afterwards was very very sad. I mean he was so sad I had to hug him. At least he doesn't blame me.

 

It was fun to wander around the fade and get all those bonus points. And the talks with Divine Justinia (or the spirit pretending to be her) were interesting. I applaud BW's ability to discuss some ideas without resolving them in any particular way. My Dalish elf is still doing everything possible to downplay any connection to Andraste but everybody keeps calling me "Your Worship" anyway. I sense I'm fighting a losing battle.

 

Now I've got to figure out what I'm going to do next. There is a big ball in Val Royeaux I could attend but I may wander off to one of the other areas or go off on some dragon hunts in the areas I've been to already.

So far today I have facerolled with the Alchemist in multiplayer. I swear she evil laughed in battle. Alchemist for Inquisitor!

Also, of course once I get sick of my keeper now I get all the good mage gear.

Now thanks to you, I have to shelf my Paragon Mage and go play through my Canon state. If by playthrough it means "completing the game" then lord behold, I'm still on my 2nd one as I've yet to complete the game twice!

Those are great. What setting do you have your Post-Process and Multisample Anti-Aliasing at? Geforce Experience told me to have Post-Process at max, and Multisample at 4x, and I'm surprised at how well this machine handles that.

Multisample is on 2x MSAA and Post-Process is on Ultra.
