Here's how he looks in one of my PTs in the medium armor. It's not the highest level one if I remember correctly. It's been awhile since I crafted armors on this particular PT. Usually he's in the armor where I can give him cunning, critical damage, and critical chance.

Sorcery would be wearing light armour. Because...mages? Sorcery? Ahem. Snouffler Skin works like Silverite, allowing all classes to use Medium armor. Dales Loden Wool does the same thing with Light armour.
Update on my Dragon Hunter Challenge: How low can you go?
I thought it was about time I uploaded a video of my latest dragon battle, the Greater Mistral in the Emerald Graves, level 17, Nightmare, #5 of 10. My party -- KE IQ, Cass, Sera, and Solas -- faced this frosty beast at only level 12, but with a little help from the Black Emporium and 30k+ gold's worth of weapon schematics, they were ready. Even with tier 2 mats, all the extra crit and flanking bonuses really revved up the damage output. Sera's was a crit damage machine. I think this may be the quickest battle against the Greater Mistral I've ever completed, in any playthrough. With only two bars of focus, too.
This video shows a pretty good cross-section of the tactics I use against dragons, picked up mostly from folks on this forum. It also shows some mistakes: missed a couple of good Transmute Magic buffs on my IQ, and some potion buffs on Sera, and stubbed my Fade Step toe on a gurn carcass, but still managed to get through without anyone needing a revive.

Finally got around to buying the red birth dagger schematic and finding the masterwork dual-blade dagger schematic in the hissing wastes, both have a dps of 400+ and it's now fairly common for me to dish out 1500-3000 damage to any random foe. Taking down entire venatori groups before the rest of my squad even gets to the fight is pretty fun! 
Also what the hell Blackwall? My first playthrough I never spent as much time talking to everybody so his revelation blindsided me. I'm now debating whether to free him or leave him. 
Marcus was a very bad man today. He killed Old Scarred Paw and her three cubs.
I have a hard time feeling bad for bears in this game. I have a bad case of perma-vendetta against the entire bear race in this universe. Whenever I see one, I always veer off course to collect my pelts.
Something I forgot to mention.
Before I closed the breach in Haven, the second time, I had Sera and Solas most of the time. Their dialogue was funny at times and other times Solas was sounding frustrated. Sera said something and Solas, in not a nice tone, said something back to her in elven. No idea what he said. Never heard him say that to her before.
Since Skyhold, I'm using Sera and Dorian. Their dialogue is funny. Dorian takes it in stride and at times has Sera standing without any comeback.

Well, as karma would have it, none of those four left anything behind to collect. Any other bears, especially the ones that insta-zoom stealth appear and/or call all their buddies to help, I don't feel bad for at all.

True, but I treat this quest like I do with the varghasts operation in the Western Approach. Leliana's option to spare the wildlife by guiding them out puts people in more danger (and indeed gets a few of them killed), whereas Cullen's removes (kills) them and it's business as usual. I really can't feel bad about the bears, because I don't see any difference between them and the dragons, and I killed all of them and wiped out every dragonling I saw.
Having a bit of post game fun earlier today with my dw assassin Inquisitor, Cassandra, Sera and Vivienne in Emprise du Lion. First thing out of Viv's mouth after we arrived, "Exactly, what are we doing here again?" I take control of her and she skydives off of Suledin Keep. "Bye bye Vivi!" Sera cackles madly.
Also, finished a leftover quest in the Hissing Wastes with Cass, Sera and Dorian. Met up with a random chantry sister; this is how it went.
Inquisitor: Greetings.
Chantry sister: *Says a bunch of random prayers*
Cassandra: What is a sister doing here in this desert?!
Chantry sister: *Says more stuff about the Maker and prayers*
Sera: Okay, weirdy..
Met up with the same chantry sister in another part of the desert later on.
Inquisitor: Hello again.
Chantry sister: *Says a bunch of random prayers*
Cassandra: How did you get here so quickly?! 
Now that I think of it, Cassandra is Divine in my latest PT. Maybe the chantry is sending people to find her after she snuck out of Coronation preps..
