I've had Cass challenge barriers here and there. When I first went to assault the rebel mages, she was all "COME TOWARD ME BRETHREN!"
What Did You Do Today (in the DA 'verse) ? .... oops ;)

Catching up with Marcus.... Emerald Graves is done, except for Din'an Hanin, which he can't access yet. Left the Greater Mistral to her ruins. I really enjoy watching/hearing her fly around while wandering the area. Killed a bunch of giants and red templars and bears (oh my!) and picked several bushels of rashvine nettles in order to finally upgrade the mighty offense tonic. Before that, he visited the Black Emporium and explored the lost temple of Dirthamen, both of which have some very interesting things to see:
Not sure what that third painting is supposed to be? Some kind of lizard naga monster thing?
Why are the Freemen leaders so big? Are they juicing with red lyrium as well?
Back at Skyhold, people are starting to notice his relationship with Dorian. At least these folks seems more amused than suspicious.

I've never seen some of that artwork beforte, pretty cool stuff and good findsThere is more elfy rock art in the Graves. Also, weird things and voices that come out of tiny caves. And if you go far enough, the trees turn two-dimensional and the land simply....stops.

After you finish his personal quest. I'm not sure if it's the next time you talk to him or later, but you can ask him if he wants to do something fun. You end up going to Val Royeaux for "lunch" but really you just talk. Or he talks and quizzy listens. Depends on if you make him more human-y or more spirit-y.

I've also never seen the land just quit like that, though I have run across two-dimensional trees before. Also, Cole just looks so impressed
Thanks.
The weird trees and no more land are from out of bounds areas. I was feeling adventurous. ![]()
Haha, yeah, Cole's kind of got the same expression as the bear heads.

I think I found some of those trees way up in the NW Hinterlands, north of Dennet's Farm, but it may have been somewhere else. All that blood on Cole's armor might make one suspicious about all those bear heads... uhh, if he hadn't been journeying everywhere with you already, that is.

This one was with a human Cole. Right after doing his quest I went to talk to him and asked if he wants to go do something, and we went to ValRoy for some wine.

I reached level 16 last night and found out I now can purchase Tier3 materials. I would guess level 20 is needed before Tier 4 materials are available
Since I'm playing as a mage and bringing Dorain along, we both have dispel making it very easy to close the rifts since there are fewer demons to fight. A couple of times I didn't fight any demons.

I think the only Tier 4 materials are the Dragon Bones, Scales, and Webbing, at the moment. JoH will bring in more Tier 4 Materials including animals that look like giant Nugs that can be killed to salvage their Tier 4 material. I'm just angry that the Tier 3 Masterworks for 40% chance for Masterwork do not work for Tier 3 schematics. It's impossible. I've attempted it 20 times and never got anything out of it.

Yes. The tier 4 stuff is the dragon materials. I've seen them available for my other characters, but they were above level 20 and all I was doing was checking out the black emporium when it became available

Giant Nugs? When the dlc becomes available, I will have to go after them

You mean to raise your stats by 10%? The only time I would use that is when the stats are very high that it would make a difference, otherwise I stick with adding a fade-touched item

I also hate that you have to collect more armor schematics in order to increase armor rating on armor schematics.

We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching, but
You're too shy to say it
Inside, we both know what's been going on
And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me you're too blind to see
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

Lol I like it when she uses it on the right opponent, but that's the fist time I saw that. I might have to disable it in case she tries a door next.
Dorian has a habit of reviving things to fight by your side all the time. Including doors. One might say he's...Doorian ![]()

Your Trainer is hilarious. I haven't done rift mage yet (I keep getting distracted by the light saber spirit blade) but force mage in DA2 was loads of fun. Have you gotten Bull's conversations straightened out in your current game? I don't think you can get the romance going officially until after the Chargers mission.
