Were you solo, or is it really that difficult?  :o  I've only briefly dipped into DAIMP.

Also, overheard in the Black Emporium....Xenon just told me I could pet the tiny bear, but to be careful because it's fragile. Apparently he had a Tevinter mage shrink it specially for him and that it was expensive. He calls it Chauncey ^_^

Oh no I was in a group and we all kept wiping out. I've solo'd on the routine difficulty but never on perilous. I doubt I'll be doing it too.

It just wasn't my night tonight so I had to excuse myself from playing.

I finally found Chauncey in the BE too! He's so adorable! I just want to take him back to Skyhold since they didn't give us mabaris  <_<

I'm slowly getting caught up on my likes after running out of them yesterday. I will get to all of you, I promise :D

In the meantime, I have a very important announcement to make.

This thread is now at two hundred pages.

Two hundred. B)

Way to go, all you lovely dragon agers. You make it happen, and I think it's fantastic. Thank you all for your wonderful contributions. They have all been a pleasure to read. Please continue.

EDIT: Added pictures and captions under tags

So after I listed out all my PTs upthread earlier, I found myself missing them so I'm revisiting them.

This morning, I revisited my 2nd PT with my f!Qunari KE storm mage, Kamaria.

- Took a visit to the BE to change her appearance...pretty much her whole appearance (horns, eye color, hair color, lip color, ear size)

Spoiler

- Changed the colors of her and Sera's armor; she was like a new woman, needed new colored armor for her and Bae. They were previously rocking purple and gold (no before pics :pinched:), now they're decked out in gray and red.

Spoiler

- Went farming in Emprise (found a few graphical hiccups that I'd never seen before and picked up some FT snoufleur skin)

Spoiler

- Visited the Wastes and decided to close some rifts (more graphical hiccups and picked up FT lurker scales and FT infused vyrantium samite)

Spoiler

-  Watched fighting in the Wastes between enemies VS. animals & animals VS. animals (outside the Burial Grounds and the Colossus statue)- gurns and wyverns DO NOT get along

Spoiler

- Heard some good banter between Viv and Bull & Bull and Sera

I didn't realize how much I missed these two!

That sucks. When you first arrive at Haven, talk to Harritt and Threnn, ask them how they got their jobs and you can find out which World State you have before you progress too far. Harritt points out my Mage Warden and Threnn and I talk about Loghain being a Grey Warden, and who's ruling Fereldan.

Okay so I started a new game to test out some of the errors me and others are getting, and the companion issue is a real thing, and not just on my computer. First time ever I died at the prologue too. It was great. Cass would not help me at all and I couldn't switch to her since it was still in tutorial mode, so something definitely broke with patch 7. Seems to affect mostly Warriors and DW Rogues. No Mages or Archers have been stuck yet.

I like your lady Inquisitor's Skyhold outfit. The green/gold/black tunic and matching black leather pants and boots fit her well.

@birefringent, I've seen pics of Morrigan with that book before, but I've never gotten that scene. How or when does it trigger?

The last event before the finale was to talk to the whole team. Most of them just wanted to express their fondness for Trev, or appreciation for how far the Inquisition’s come. Blackwall and Trev just bickered. Varric hosted a wonderful game of cards, which left everyone smiling. Well, maybe not Cullen. :P And Trev got the opportunity to tell a story about that time he turned Ostwick’s Knight-Commander into a rabbit during his Harrowing. No wonder the fellow kept trying to smite him during the mage rebellion.

Sera was very amused at the start of their conversation, and rather annoyed afterwards. That’s because Trev said he believed some of the temple’s secrets could be true, which led to this exchange:
Sera: “You’re the Herald of Andraste! Every time you open your mouth, you’ll sound  like an idiot!”
Trev: “The Inquisition is probably used to me sounding like an idiot.”
Sera Approves. Hey! You could at least contradict that. How rude.  :P

He then talked to Cassandra, and told her that he doesn’t care what the future holds, so long as it’s with her. She pointed out that she could be made Divine, and he awkwardly said “if it happens, it happens.” I could almost see the difficulty he’s having coming to terms with that idea. It should be Vivienne though, it should be!

Trev went down to the garden, and ended up having to follow Morrigan through the mirror. This time, the Eluvian didn't lead to the ghost-mirror-cemetary, but to the dripping green Fade. He's not worried about demons though. Not desire demons anyway. They would surely have given him a dream of nice clothing.  -_- The only demon he found in the Fade was Morrigan's mother. Possibly Morrigan herself.
Spoiler
If your parent's a demon, does that mean you get a little piece of demon tucked away inside you? He's convinced that Flemeth is an abomination. 'Mythal' "called out to her", oh yeah. Suuuuuuure. And apostates wonder why the Harrowing exists. The demon was going to kidnap the child, but thankfully she was prepared to accept a deal with Morrigan instead. When Flemeth comes calling for her side of the bargain, he wants Morrigan to be as far from Skyhold as possible. He's got a bad feeling about Flemeth.

Coryfish turned out to be easy to find. He's a glutton for punishment, and decided to rip open the Breach again. Solas is not going to be happy about his little elven orb getting over-used. The party trekked over there for a brief staring competition before the fight ensued in the 'Black City'. The guy must really be masochistic. His greatest failure occured in the Black City, and he wants a reinactment? Coryfish trash-talked, declaring that Trev has puny magic, Dorian is a traitor to his people, and that Sera is a 'rathas'...'kefak'...something? Didn't hear that bit properly. Trev imagines it isn't something one says in polite society.

They crushed the fake archdemon, which isn't even as impressive as the Highland Ravager. Possibly because Morrigan crippled it first but let's forget about that bit
Spoiler

The rest of the party showed up once Coryfish was dead, and Trev had escaped the city. Oh yes, he's sees how it is. You guys stand on the sidelines, making bets while he and his team do all the grunt work. Tsk. And Iron Bull had the nerve to bet on the dragon! Ah well, there's only one face that Trev wants to see.
Spoiler

Trev unwound during the celebratory party, with the help of... tiny cakes! It's a good thing the Ostwick Circle had an Enchanter who specialised in physical fitness. Because tiny cakes. It reminds him of his days as an apprentice. At least until one of the others accidentally set the plate on fire.  -_-  Tentatively, he headed up to speak to Vivienne. The relief unbelievable, when she said she was preparing for her coronation.

Cassandra might be rebuilding the Seekers. The Inquisition faces an uncertain future. But for now, at least, they get their happy ending.  ^_^
Spoiler

I'm doing one more PT before I take a break - a Lavellan rogue for Dorian. I have three attractive Lavellan guys saved. This fellow is not one of them. I rushed through the opening scenes of the game until haven, trying not to look at his face. I think I've been back to the Black Emporium a dozen times, and am finally satisfied. Sort of. He looks ok.  Probably doesn't help that I played around with one of the pretty Lavellans (a warrior), and he has such a lovely, squishable little face.  ^_^

Happens after Temple of Mythal if Morrigan drank from the well, and Morrigan is solo; no Kieran.

From camera issues to computer issues. (possible virus!?) *sigh*

Well I'll try to post anyway...

Frankly I made crazy progress. I haven't had hit the story to much but what story bit here:

Spoiler

Random stuff:

I opened up the Exalted plains and got a good chunk of it done. Sadly the biggest issue is the level 11 arcane horrors. I know I have Malaioniss at level 17 so they should be easy on paper but on NIGHTMARE DIFFICULTY they can drop a character or a whole group (cone style) in seconds. Malaioniss got a major friendly greeting from the Dlaish elves but still has to do some crazy stuff for them. I killed the dragon in Crestwood and passed on drinks with Iron Bull. I completed Cassandra's Seeker Lucius mission.

Spoiler

I crushed a few more of her rouge targets, went portal bashing, shard finding and other random stuff...

Other_208_zpsibvracgw.jpg

Other_28_zps8ygdxmt8.jpg

in the Western Approach. Crestwood, Exalted Plains, and the Emerald Graves. I threw Crestwood's mayor to the Ferelden people and kept Servius as a smuggler. I kind of am having issues with dealing with the western Approach's dragon. i can only knock 25% of it's health and that's it. I need better stuff and abilities. I still love tempest for bow rouges. I like how LONG SHOT and LEAPING SHOT is spammable.

Birdies...Birdy Mirdies.

PS: At @Brave Vesperia:

I am probably wrong about this but I think it may be a scene only if your warden back in DAO had a romance with her? I swear when i had a romance with her something of that nature happened where my warden gave her a book. It might be the same book. I could be wrong about this. Currently obviously if people have been following my posts as of late i am not that far yet and have got quite the ways to go. Honestly I am running on my Goketsu story line (romanced Morrigan even though I made it that way via DRAGON'S KEEP since I oopsed during actual game play).

A helpful tip for folks that may not know about that I just found out about.

When fighting the high dragon, The Hiveral, I used dispel when it used its icy wind barrier. It worked and I wasn't frozen and neither were my companions. Dispel will not work on its cold breath

Dispel will not work on the other high dragon, The  Kaltenzahn, since it only uses its cold breath

If folks didn't know, the above dragons are found in Emprise du Lion.

I'm out of likes again <_<

Turns out Druffy packs quite a punch if one accidentally...electrocutes her

Joanna Trevelyan's just about got enough power for In Hushed Whispers, mostly from rifts, requisitions, recruiting agents and a couple fetch quests. Also recruited Vivienne. Think I'll drag Sera and the beard with me, because they seem like they'd just really enjoy a trip to a horrible apocalyptic future  Especially because I'm thinking I'll romance Sera again. Sorry, Cullen!

With enough power to finally hit the Tevinter guys where they live (so to speak), Jo Trev volunteered as tribute bait for the Venatori. Leliana's people are sneaking in a back door that hopefully actually exists (shame there wasn't one of those in the Ostwick Circle. Place got boring, some adventure now and then could've been nice. Though, perhaps not this much adventure...) and they're disarming the trap set for us. Of course, things never go as planned, since when Joanna offered nothing ("I'm just going to take the mages and go, 'kay? :'D"), she and the helpful mustachioed Tevinter with us got thrown into a rift. And...the future?

Well. Alexius has done some redecorating. Jo and Dorian agree that as bad as the Ferelden motif was before, this isn't exactly an improvement. Jo will have to remember not to have him in charge of aesthetic design when we move to Skyhold.

Moving right along as if some weird sci-fi thing hadn't just happened and the world wasn't literally falling apart around us, we find Lyses, the elf from Redcliffe who seems to have lost it a bit (poor kid :( ), and Fiona. She's turning into Red Lyrium. Apparently it's a disease now. Lovely. She tells us about Leliana, so we set off to find her too. Along the way we stumble upon Sera and Blackwall. Sera's terrified, obviously, and rather than joking, Jo tries to comfort her for a change. It doesn't really work, but she agrees to come along to kill Alexius.

Spoiler

Blackwall's not much better off. Jo's not sure why they bothered to keep the mouthy elf and fake Warden - I mean, if he's experimenting with the Blight, you'd think Alexius would figure that out and...dispose, of him  - but Jo's relieved. Also, good thing they're here; she'd make a terrible tank and Dorian would probably just complain about blood on his outfit if she threw him in front of her as a shield.

Anyway, we're off to see Leliana. She's in even worse condition than the others and yet still manages to snap a guy's neck with her thighs. Jo's impressed, Dorian's flippant, and Leliana's mad. So, the usual. With an apology and a promise to make things right, Jo leads the merry band of misfits out into courtyard.

And the Breach has taken over everything.

Rifts appear left and right and demons keep swooping down upon us. We hurry through, back into the castle. Inside, we find a Shard Door that is a complete mystery to us all ;) and open it with some Red Lyrium. Because why wouldn't we just pick up random shards of the stuff off people we've killed in hopes that it'll somehow be useful later?

Past the door, we find Alexius. And Felix. Felix is basically a zombie, so Leliana kills him while Jo tries to bargain with Alexius. That goes over about as well as expected, and we end up having to fight him. Fun!

Spoiler

Once he's dealt with, we start working on the spell to get us back to the future our own time. We run out of time, however, and Sera, Blackwall and Leliana give their lives to give us a chance, much to Joanna's disapproval - she argued but nooo, why listen to the lady with the glowy hand?

When we jump out of another rift, we're back in the originally terribly decorated, not at all end-of-the-world-ish Redcliffe Castle. Joanna's a bit smug ("oh, is that all?") but that doesn't last long. Queen Anora (minus King Alistair, so I guess he's a wandering drunk? Oops  ) demands the mages get the hell out of Ferelden. Jo decides to anger her family and half the Inquisition - and, y'know, Thedas - further by offering them a full alliance.

So with our goal accomplished and our new allies in tow, we return to Haven. Predictably, everyone's arguing. Dorian drops by to say hello and join up, and Jo's happy to let him. At least somebody sees how amusingly bizarre all of this is. The Advisors invite Joanna to join them in the War Room when ready. She sighs, "there goes my nap." We're to deal with the Breach next.

Oh! And there's this, a painting that looks weirdly like Blackwall:

Spoiler

Just me? Does Alexius make a habit of having portraits done of his prisoners? Is that a Tevinter thing?

Happy Monday guys and gals.  Marian Hawke's mom is dead.  How she dies still bothers me personally, after all these years and all these play throughs.

Fenris STILL won't love on me.  Jerk.  Isabela took the Qunari book and left me.  LEFT. ME.  I thought we were cool, but I guess we weren't THAT cool.  I fear that with the way things are going with Fenris he is going to leave me too.  I have no Sebastian since I didn't pay to get his add on content.  Bethany is still locked up in the mage prison.  Merrill is not my friend, and Anders is getting more unstable.  At least I prevented him from killing that mage girl Ser Alrik was messing with.  At least I have Aveline and my bestie Varric. But two rogues do not a party make.  Although two Rogues did take out the Arishok after Aveline and Anders were rendered unconscious.

Hawke clearly has abandonment issues.  LOL.

But.. I love Hawke!  She keeps on keeping on,  despite personal tragedy.  I will admit that the events of this PT are not close to what I consider personally satisfying and or/canon.  It's been years though, so this is as close to not meta-gaming as I can get with a game I've played as many times as this.  :)

Really I think everyone just needs to leave Hawke alone so she can hang out with Bethany and her Mabari in her hightown house once the mages rebel.

Lol it's always so hard to make that choice. I see it at a logical POV. If I want to keep the Wardens, Hawke dies so they can rebuild with Stroud/Alistair/Loghain leading them. If I kick them out of Orlais, I kill the Warden too. Hawke lives.
