Well i'm back and it seems like my computer has been taken cared of. I wished I knew what the cause was but anyway I made crazy progress from my last post with Malaioniss.
I sacked a total of four out of ten dragons now (Crestwood, Western Approach, Hinderlands, Emerald Graves). It gave me enough levels to hit the warden/fade story mission.
Now back at Skyhold...
Liliana was curious about who Malaioniss talked to in the fade.
Varric needed a hug...Varric always needs a hug.... 
Cole continued to frak out about what happened in the fade and at Adament fortress. Solas devised a way to help Cole.

Cullen is still conflicted on returning to Lyrium.
Malaioniss pulled pranks with Sera.
Cassandra was trying to write letters about what Malaioniss did in the fade.
Dorian was afraid he lost Malaioniss and is trying to figure out the truth to Corypheus.

I have been hitting multi player here and there too and I cannot seem to get a good group on the modes second difficulty level or Envy keeps pwning my group when my team mates act stupid. It's driving me nuts. I hope to get with a dependable group soon or else i'll just flat out say STFU to the multi player mode due to getting super laggy hosts and teams full of rushers or knowing how to handle ugly situations tactically. I mean seriously I swear none of these people ever played NIGHTMARE of single player.

So it will be a few days before Kubrie's journey resumes. Ah well, after trudging through the arid Forbidden Oasis, and slogging through rain-soaked Crestwood, She can use a few days in Skyhold to relax. The Empress of Orlais is having a party, and our horned inquisitor will need to rest up for that.

So I picked up my DA2 Nightmare run again after several months... only to realise after a while that something's bugged out along the way between reinstalling it on my new pc and transferring the saves over, because the game is now showing the hours on the minute counter and the minutes on the second counter?
Also, because I'm finally able to play it with the High-Res textures, I was surprised to learn Hawke actually has frownlines on his face? Huh?

They're basically legends. Honestly, I cannot say that any console player has ever gotten this legitimately, and only PC users have(with HAX, of course). According to the owner of these pics, he never stated he got them through RNG or Cheat Engine, but he said they are tied to RNG(of course). Like I said, they're legends and there are players who have sunk more than 400 hours in DA:I and have never come across these two sword schematics before. Bioware just hates T3 swords, don't they?

I transferred all the guts of my PC from one tower to another, a bigger one with more fans and better airflow. I took great pains to make sure everything was connected exactly as before. Windows cares not for my silly precautions.
I powered up the rig and when it came time for windows to boot, I got a driver error. Okay. Boot into safe mode, fix driver error, reboot. Now it's a kernel error. Crap. The hell is a kernel error?
Reboot into safe mode. Wait, let me rephrase. Try to reboot into safe mode. Four times. Each time I got a different fatal error. I tried refreshing, repairing, restoring, re-everything, and now finally I'm down to reformatting. Blech.
All the hardware is perfectly fine, it's just windows being windows. And it's time-consuming because I have to do it all around work, and sleep, and relatives.
But it's all good. Hopefully Marcus has better luck with Dorian than I'm having with windows

I think your computer and mine might be related. The new power supply I ended up not needing but left installed because I didn't want to take it out? Well, it started getting real loud over the last couple of weeks, and then last night it was so loud I though it might actually explode. I couldn't turn my pc off fast enough. I replaced it today but I think it may have fried my video card in the meantime. 
Now 5 minutes into a DAI session, I hear a buzzing sound kind of like a phone ringing. It stops once I shut the game down. So much for my fun holiday weekend.

My Inquisitor has completed everything in the Hissing Wastes except fighting the dragon, Hinterlands, Empire du Lion, Exalted Plains, Western Approach, Forbidden Oasis, Fallow Mire, Emerald Graves except the Knight's Tomb quest and Storm Coast.
I have yet to recruit Blackwall. I haven't been to Crestwood yet and haven't done the Celene quest yet. I'm currently about one-third into level 23.

This is actually among the most fun I had of all the fetch quests, because the way the Mosaic shards are hidden feels like they were actually hidden; rather than placed somewhere difficult to reach by a game designer. Also Gatsy's notes add pretty interesting stuff to the lore and are thoroughly interesting reads, too. Codex digging and subtle lore additions are my favourites, hence my unpopular love for the Hissing Wastes.

I finally had a few solid hours of free time so I could get back to hunting dragons. Exited the Emerald Graves at level 13 with 6 power, great position in comparison to my first run. Next up is Vinsomer, level 19. I opened The Storm Coast for the first time with every intention of getting all the way to Dragon Island and defeating that electric baddie all in one session.
And then the RNG decided to troll me.
Because The Storm Coast has the highest concentration of Giant Spiders, it's the place to pick up mats for a standard Dragon-Slaying Rune. All I needed was 12 "measly" glands to equip two weapons, no sweat. So, my plan was, pick up Iron Bull for power/influence, gallop down the coast past all the guys wanting to fight, including one rift, until I got to the Small Grove Camp, farm spiders in the cave above, gallop down the coast some more to the Driftwood Margin camp, stroll down to the Red Water front door, slingshot over the top to Red Water itself (because the door doesn't open until level 16 and a war table mission), fight through some Red Templars, catch a boat ride to Dragon Island, fight Vinsomer. Easy!
Well, I never got past the farm spider glands part. After two and a half hours IRL, I managed to kill about a hundred spiders, for all of 6 glands! Luckily, each spider is only 10 XP, so I only picked up about 1000 total. I really, really want to stop farming spiders, but I've tried to fight Vinsomer at level 16 on NM without dragon-slaying runes and got my arishok handed to me, so I guess I'm going to have to go back to that cave and try again.

If the spider gland is a tier 3 material, it won't be available until the player reaches level 16. That's only if a spider gland can be bought at the emporium.
Tier 4 materials are available when the player reaches level 18
You might be able to pick them up from a shop somewhere with the Short List perk, but I wouldn't even begin to know where. It also requires five perks/agents in Connections.

RNGesus blessed me with sweet items from chests last night: Longsword of the Dragon (purple card), Superb Heal On Kill ring, Longbow of the Griffin (purple card), Superb Ring of Staggering, Thunderstrike (purple card), Superb Critical Damage ring
Learned how to build the legionnaire as a support/"medic" role from a friend. Played a few rounds as the lego and didn't die at all! Pleasantly surprised and now the lego will see more action from me thanks to the build.
Took the archer out for a spin again thanks to Luke rebuffing the character's main ability on my build, long shot. Hall is fun to play again and he'll see more dragons now thanks to that.
In one 5 minute spurt, Marcus opened one of the tombs in Hissing Wastes; only 4 more to go. Next spurt, he set up another camp and almost made it to the dog shop but got ambushed by spiders and had to exit (the game) before he could buy anything. Oy, at this rate it will take me longer to finish than it did playing in slo-mo.
