Medusa's final adventure. I know, I know. Everyone would like for her never to stop having adventures. So get ready to cry knowing this is her last adventure. Hahahaha.

 

I have alll the Inquisition forces head to the Arbor wilds. I head there myself hoping for answers. I realize time is short. We make it there and learn that the forest is home to some Elven god or whatever. We fight through the minions.  We get to a point and hear Corypheus mention the well of sorrows. I got it. He came here for the well that can make his face look normal again. Ok. I got it. Because of what I've done to disrupt his plans, he found another way to fix his face, The Well of Sorrows. We cannot let him get to that well. Hahahaha

 

Why couldn't Morrigan figure that out? I find out why a few moments later. She wants the well for herself. I was right not to trust her. She must be related to that TIM guy who wanted to control..uh..wait a minute. This has gone way off-topic. Ahem. Lets try again. She just wanted me to help her get the well for herself. Until we get to that point, I'll worry about it later. We need to get in this temple.

 

Look at that. I can walk on musical squares. What song should I walk to on these squares. How about this one. Hahaha. With the door open we are seen by what looks to be Sentinels or guardians of the temple. Hey guys? I don't care about your voodoo crap. I just want to stop the ugly looking thing who wants your well. Ha. He bought that story. I would make for a good politician for making a lie like that. Hahaha. I still got it. Hahaha.

 

At the well, Morrigan and I discuss who will drink from it. I tell her to drink from it since I have no idea of what will happen. Oh crap. Its ugly. Through the mirror we go. That was close.

 

Now to find where Corypheus lair is. Morrigan says we need to go somewhere that will give her the power to stop ugly's dragon. Fine.

 

What? You're Morrigan's mother? Not bad. I like your armor. I learn she is the Elven goddess Myhal or whatever. Morrigan gets the power to stop the fake archdemon

 

Its just you and me ugly

me: What;s with all the talking crap ugly? Are you going to fight or talk me to death?

ugly: You dare? You dare mock me in that way? The nerve of some people

me: nerve smevre. Eat this clown.

me: Say hello to my little friend. I call this weapon " Shut the **** up and die clown" ( aim, fires arrow at left eye)

So ends the adventures of Medusa Trevelyan. For those interested, she will be writing a book about her adventures. It should be in stores within 6 months for $19.99. Hahaha

A couple of notes. 

 

What I found interesting is that when I talked with Solas, I ended up getting more approval from him when being direct than when I was being a nice person.

Since I didn't achieve what I wanted in this playthrough, I will bring in my main character who can get the job done. She has a way of getting things done without showing any remorse. I will introduce her later. You may want to leave the light on just in case. Hahahaha

 

The other thing is in this playthrough, Morrigan didn't have a child. I had Loghain die when he killed the archdemon, I found the scene with her and Flemeth better without the child present. In my upcomong playthrough, I will have maleHawke, never did a playthrough in DA2 as one, for the playthrough so I can leave him in the fade and have Alistair live. I like to have it where Alistair and Morrigan are talking to each other. From my understanding it can happen if events are done in a certain order.

Has anyone yet worked out Chancellor Roderick's voice? Sometimes it sounds like Simon Templeman and sometimes it sounds like Tim Curry. Any ideas? I've also heard manHawke's battlecry and Alistair's 'yeah'.

 

Spork - human. If you go dwarf with Cass - you know what you'll be eye-to-eye with? And getting on the horse? You'll need a leg up from your friends and your feet would poke out either side and look silly.

Today Sullastine noticed that thanks to the overabundance of looted Highever Weave, Bloodstone and Ringvelvet (or whatever), her merry team of intrepid first-stringers are starting to look suspiciously seasonal in their crafted armor. The only sore thumb (or Scrooge), was Iron Bull. So, she beat feet down to the Undercroft and made him a fine set of armor to match everyone else. The only difference is that she used Serpentstone for him so that he can look like an oversized Grinch running around with a pack of red and green helpers.

 

So far, Bull and Cass are flirting shamelessly. We're in the Western Approach and the team was treated to Cass's wishes of a long hot bath with roses and Bull told her he preferred lavender for bath activities. Sullastine wondered if they were practicing the Orlesian game and saying everything while saying nothing.

 

The Western Approach afforded lots of opportunities to observe local wildlife. There were the charming wild canids to begin with, but the most interesting opportunities came from the dragon researcher who sent them off to study half decomposed, half mummified corpses of old dragon kills. Nothing says, "Life of adventure," like digging through the nasty remains of some critter a dragon has torn limb from limb or, in one case, hworked up like an oversized hairball. But, if this gets her closer to the goal of finally slaying a full-grown dragon ... these indignities, too, must be born.

 

Oh, and then there was the isolated outpost and the blood magic using, demon summoning Gray Wardens ... but that was just the most routine part of her day and hardly worth mentioning. It did create a lot of dead bodies and mayhem, and it was decided that someone ought to go out to Adamant to deal with whatever pit of crazy the Wardens are digging themselves into, but first, the hard work of taming the Western Approach must continue! After all, you can't march an army through the wastes to Adamant without a secure base of operations, not in a desert like that one.

Solas and Lavellan went on a double date with Iron Bull and Dorian this evening.  They've been killing Giants in Emerald Graves.  *Sigh* How romantic!

No but I could swear there's someone quoting chantry verse in the Skyhold garden, and on the occasional word or syllable he sounds just like Vigil from Mass Effect.

I think this time round the dwarf faces will be better. They already are for the other characters. Although some of the returning characters look like they've been hit with the ugly stick. It's your game Spork - play! Be free!

Well after hearing about Bull's particular dwarf fetish, I think I'll save playing a dwarf until it's time to ride the Bull... er, yeah. And I'll have Leliana's spies intercept the bean shipments.

So what do you guys think, human or dwarf for my next inquisitor? Planning on Cassandra romance, and am thinking rogue archer, so I can try out some different party configurations. Don't really want to play a qun'ari yet because they don't seem like anything but 2H warriors to me.... but I haven't ruled it out either.

Human. Dwarf seems inappropriate, at least for me though, i find it funny especially if you romance Cass with it...

Yeah, truth be told I was always kinda leaning towards human for the Cassie romance... I know it's easy to say that now

It's such a cool dungeon; wandering through this dark, creepy, haunted house and you look out the windows and it's a beautiful sunny day outside; birds are chirping, great bears are killing fennecs, giants are stomping things.

So my response to being frightened out of the Chateau d'Onterre was... To send my Inquisadora to fight relentless hordes of the shambling undead at the Citadelle instead. What excellent choices of location I seem to make. This was a success however, and Inquisadora went on to solve the secret of Samson's armour, and then took a break scrambling around Skyhold finding copies of Hard In Hightown for the archivist. The quartermaster was hoarding FOUR. Inquisadora knows what she's getting -him- for Thedosian Christmas.

No, as far as I know there is no dwarf component to the fetish, but a certain General is gated against dwarves and qunari and qunari can't be red headed where dwarves can ... so red-headed dwarf it is ... until such time as I can resist the Cullen temptation.

Metagaming to the max at the moment, already have 4 agents, barely done anything. (Belle from Val Royeux, Dennet, Tanner and the Blades of Hessarian). Probably going to pick up every possible agent except Alexius, as I'll most likely side with the Templars

 

Slighty offtopic: really wish the Qunari facepaint would not show up in cutscenes (or, in other words, would count as a helmet). The one you see in the screenshot, with the white stripes on the face is alright, but currently I'm wearing yellow facepaint all over my face. It's awful.
