I always feel bad for bringing poor Cole. And Varric, if you leave Hawke... I mean, Sera and Bull don't like it either, but at least it doesn't mess with their very existence the way it seems to with Cole. Plus, Sera's panicked swearing is kind of amusing

yeah~  exactly that happened "Close the Rift in the Fade" ...you don't say 

I was in the Hinterlands, it was like my 3rd Rift in this PT and that thing STILL thinks, it has to tell me that I have to close it. 

 

 

My favourite was claiming Suledin Keep in my last playthrough...it tried to tell me how to use potions. When the team was at nearly full health all around. And playing on NM. Gosh, thanks, so helpful!

You could always disband the templars and still get to experience that side of the story

 

Not sure about the tutorial (maybe try the options menu), but fun fact: Cullen was actually going to be a romance option for both male and female humans and elves, and it was cut due to time. That said, you can pretty much flirt with everyone (aside from I think Solas?), regardless of gender and restrictions. Like Cassandra. Even when she they don't feel the same

Not a real accomplishment, because I play on normal difficulty, but I thought this was funny. I've finished the fight with the four level 30 despair demons on the island of JoH. The team consisted of the PC (archer, level 25), Cassandra, Cole and Dorian (all level 24). Everyone, except Dorian, had good protection against the cold attacks. I totally forgot about him. Yet, everyone died at least once - except Dorian. He didn't even use a health potion and was the hero of the day.

So just finished In Your Heart Shall Burn.    Man that is an AWESOME quest.  The best quest in gaming history IMO.  And it still really hit all the right emotional notes.  but still....it is odd.  I am still having a lot of trouble with Kara though, died defending the trebejet....the third time in this play through.  But I am still having a lot of fun...and Bull seems very Squishy.  Yet I figured it out and it made it awesome, dying, and hen nearly dying a second time.  Made the tension much better.  

 

Also it was funny in the beginning of the combat scene I forgot who I was fighting for a second, so I saw a mage next to me and was like...'oh cool Dorian is fighting with me' *several seconds later*  Wait a second....VENATORI KILL.

Closed a few fade rifts in the Frostback Basin (my team was mostly brutalized) . Killed Sandy Howler. Crafted Cass some Templar Armor. 

 

Finally figured out that everyone's favorite Despair Demons can be neutralized quite nicely by a Static Cage.

Pfff, idk but I have the feel, like the tutorial is the "Mom" of the game.

 

Player: *goes to kill a High Dragon*

Tutori-Mom: Don't forget to use 9 to use a potion when your health is low.

Player: *sighs* Yeah, yeah. *fights against Dragon*

Tutori-Mom: you can use STRG/Ctrl to pause your game. Please use it, if the fight gets difficult.

Player: *rolls eyes* I know.

Tutori-Mom: Use T to open the tactical-camera. It will tell you the weaknesses of your enemies.

Player: MOM! I AM A LEVEL 24 NECRO! I KNOW HOW TO USE THE TAC-CAM!

Tutori-Mom: You're so ungrateful.

So, yesterday I recruted Sera, Vivienne, Blackwall and Iron Bull (in that order). Team is now on Level 5 and I'm thinking about grinding to Level 6 before I do Champions of the Just, because I want/need another spell.

After a long break, I'm going back to this game after playing Dragonball Xenoverse for like a week straight.

 

I turned Cole into more of a spirit and told Dorian not to reconcile with his father. I cleared the Winter Palace with my male Mage , made Gaspard sole ruler, and danced with Josie. Then I turned Box Florianne into an agent.

not sure if i matter but i usually try to all maps and other things before champion of the just and i always end up like lvl 12/13 before champion of the just

Oh me too, in my last PT I finished the Hinterlands and most of the Storm Coast before I did In Hushed Whisper, it's just, I don't want to be as overleveled as last time.

 

Recommended Levels: 4 to 7 (for both In Hushed Whisper and Champions of the Just)

i have just succeeded in doing 45% or so of the western approach for got to save as i needed to check if ice messed something up so loaded a previous save and found i was 3 hours behind the time with no save

I just realized the Jaws of Hakkon archers are tough if not killed right away. I died after getting shot 4 times with  arrows. So. Note to self. Kill archers first and then deal with the others

The graphics card arrived. It replaced a crossfire setup, that wouldn't work properly in DA:I. Too bad, because these two outperformed the single new one that I have now in my other games. It's faster than a single old one, though. I've tested ultra settings with the new one under Mantle and DA:I is very happy now. I now wish that I had two of them.

What made it easy was having a 15% cooldown amulet so I could use fire mine and immolate almost non stop. I kept Cassandra safe with barriers. Dorian and Sera stayed at a distance. Dorian and I used dispel when needed. I used no health potions. I was at level 25 and the others were at level 24.

 

I'm tempted to go do it again since I made a save just before fighting them. Hahaha

I have closed all rifts. I took care of the pride demons myself using cloak and spirit sword while the companions took care of the others

Mostly been defeating dragons today, and was finally able to obtain the Dragon's Bane trophy! Blasted thing was glitched. Also collected all the shards and cleared the Solasan temple... which I found extremely anticlimactic. Welp, one experience richer I suppose...

Were they actually level 30? Level cap for me was 27. It doesn't seem like I'm going any higher.

Well, I killed a couple of dragons (Crestwood and Hinterlands), burned a few body pits and made friends with the Dalish in Exalted Plains, and now I am about to head into the Western Approach.  So I can find out, for the sixth time, exactly what those silly Wardens are up to. 

 

Oh and take another keep.

Static Cage is the new Crushing Prison.

The archers are brutal. They would 1-shot kill me with full barrier and health.  

 

 

Were they actually level 30? Level cap for me was 27. It doesn't seem like I'm going any higher.

 

Yeah, quizzy caps at 27 for now, but the despair demons are really level 30. I didn't find them in my NM run....oh darn.
